A Column for COVID Comments and Considerations

Under Cover of COVID...

Did TPTB just take advantage of the COVID crisis or did they engineer it? I don't know, but the fact they've made use of the predicament to profit is undeniable. Chris had some thoughts this week around the giant economic ponzi which has been created. (47 min)

Chris breaks down the immense personal and institutional failures of the US Federal Reserve, connecting them broadly to the failures of the FDA, the CDC, NIH, Fauci and the mainstream media.

Why should you care? Because the imminent economic crisis that’s coming will be extremely damaging. It will have the same root as the many Covid policy failures; entrenched greed & corruption leading to extremely poor decisions that will cause a lot of pain for the most vulnerable in society. There’s no practical difference between Fauci’s “No treatments for you!” policies and Jerome Powell’s “No money for you (only the uber wealthy)!” policies. Both grievously harm the majority while benefiting the very few.

The wealthy will skate by, but mainly because they have feathered their own nests at the expense of everyone else. The extraordinarily regressive inflation tax combined with what can only be described as a purposeful decimation of the middle and lower socioeconomic classes is both a looming tragedy as well as indicative of a profound moral and ethical failure by Federal reserve staff and leadership.

Growing corruption is fingered as a principal contributor to the downfall of empires all throughout history and this time assuredly is not different.

This all connects to the probability that the current inflationary impulses and growling supply shocks will be handled poorly by conflicted and entrenched bureaucrats across the Americas and Europe.

You can't taper a ponzi.

Not to mention Ching, Ching, cashing in by big pharma et al.

So here on Halloween we enter scary and unknown economic territory. The US seems to think they can just start a war with China, Russia, or both to escape our bad economy. Sadly I think that leads to extinction. I look forward to your comments below...

Rather than put that heading on a separate thread --

.

Thirteen months ago, I posted the first of several diaries mentioning the gales of derision that were being heaped on Sweden because that country never adopted the same restrictions on social encounters as most of the rest of Europe and the other industrialized nations around the world. As of April, 2020, such criticism resonated very well with the published statistics on infections and death from the virus. In that post from October 1, 2020, I noted that Sweden's reported experience had improved relative to the rest of the world, and the USA had passed that country by in per capita fatalities.

As the months wore on, I posted a few more threads that tracked continuing relative improvement in the Swedish numbers compared to the USA and the rest of the world.

As of the numbers available today, Sweden stands in 54th place in reported Covid fatalities, after leading the world in the first months of the pandemic. Much more significantly, Sweden has reported a grand total of 456 deaths from the virus from June through October of 2021. As a percentage of population, that comes to less than five one-thousands of one percent.

Meanwhile, here in the USA under the scientific leadership of Biden and Fauci, we have seen more than 150,000 fatalities reported in the USA during that same five month period. Our population is about 30 times greater than Sweden's -- so in our experience this summer and fall, on a per capita basis, we have seen ten times the fatality rate of Sweden.

Viewed from another perspective, three percent of all Swedish virus fatalities have taken place since the first of June this year. In the USA, the death toll has grown by 20% in the same time period.

.

None of this is to say that Sweden did anything "right." I do not believe there is a "right" way to fight anything, let alone a "novel" virus through public health measures. My answer to the gang of MSM hacks, internet influencers and the gullible was that it was always too early to "judge" which countries were on the correct path and which countries deserved internet razzberries for their stupidity.

Time has not been kind to hopes for gaining "control" of the virus. Nineteen months in and the surge arcs are on the way back down from the most part -- but we have seen that before. I hope along with gjohnsit that the current down slopes on the case and death charts demonstrate that the plague has run its course, like every one in human memory has done before.

There is always the chance that humanity will not allow the virus to die its own death and we have this disease as a perpetual menace, requiring the protection of vaccines in order to be able to wear our masks everywhere we go, forever.

.

A year ago, as now, my enemy is certitude about things unknowable. I used to think it was harmless but annoying. Now I fear much worse. Yes, we are now in a Lewis Carroll world where the verdict is always first and trial after, and logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead . . . .

But it doesn't really matter in a kangaroo court of today (think Julian)

I always thought we needed to let Sweden try their own thing. I remember early on they screwed up in their nursing homes (similar to NY) and suffered most deaths in the elderly (as did everyone). Tolerance is not a modern forte.

Am I remembering correctly that you are in Japan? I may be confusing you with blue republic. The reason I ask, CB or SD posted this week that Japan is now using IVM and cases are almost over? Although I've seen articles rebutting the claim.

Might explain these reductions if true...

Japan drops vax rollout, goes to Ivermectin, ENDS COVID almost overnight

The ongoing COVID-19 nonsense here in the United States exists solely and exclusively because our governments have failed to use the correct treatment. They used so-called “vaccines” when Japan has just proven, in less than ONE MONTH, that Ivermectin can wipe out the disease.

There is one big reason why we don’t have this under control and it’s because we aren’t treating it with meds that not only keep people alive, but gets us to herd immunity unlike these questionable vaccines. As McCoulogh states this is the 1st disease where early treatment has been outlawed to protect big pharma's profits. I can think of nothing more heinous than putting profits before people and yet it’s just one of the many ways this country does. Insurance is another.

I read this last night on another way people are being gauged by insurance companies and how bad the supply problems are getting.

https://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2021/10/im-doc-on-medication-medical-sup...

Even before that problem reared up the drug companies have been raising prices on long time drugs like insulin out of people’s reach and congress sits on their asses and watches. Why?

Michael Hudson

The Tight Fist of Special Interests

Well, in a way, the big picture is in the tiny details. And the tiny details is in the pay-to-play politics that in order to run for office and get elected, you have to raise money, and if you have to raise money, what do you do? You go to the campaign donors. And what do you do? Well, the rule of thumb is that for every dollar that a campaign donor pays, they get 1000 times back. And the problem, obviously, with Biden’s program right now is look at the people who’ve been able to raise the most money.

Congress again promised to let government negotiate drug prices for just Medicare and once again it’s been stripped from the bill. We aren’t even getting crumbs from this nonsense bill democrats are saying will make Biden into FDR. And once again the shitlibs are making excuses for them.

I watched the featured video lookout posted yesterday and I would say that this epidemic was rigged to give cover for the massive transfer of money upwards. Gjohnsit had been writing about how the economy was going to nosedive months before anyone heard of Covid. The retail market was crashing and lo and behold the Fed started pumping trillions into the market in September of 2019. That’s TRILLIONS out of thin air for the rich to pump up their stock and buy more shares back while cutting employees. And guess what? Few people even know about it. But finding money for us peons? Can’t do it.

Japan ends vaccine-induced pandemic by legalizing IVERMECTIN, while pharma-controlled media pretends masks and vaccines were the savior

Japan has continued to administer vaccines and has not authorized ivermectin for treating COVID-19. The drug is used to treat infections of roundworms and other parasites in humans and animals. Many health officials have warned against ivermectin’s use for COVID-19, saying that it could cause harmful side effects and that there’s little evidence it helps.

I've been mainly focused on China.

I have to agree with you on Sweden. They made the same mistake as NYC and Quebec, Canada for placing warehousing the mildly infected elderly in care homes with little to no medical treatment with insufficiently trained low wage care givers which allowed the virus to go rampant. This was done to reduce loading on expensive beds in hospitals to ensure more room for younger patients (which never occurred). This effectively sacrificed many of the elderly.

Coronavirus: Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf says coronavirus approach 'has failed'
...
According to an official report released earlier this week, the strategy failed in its effort to protect the elderly in care homes - for which the government has admitted responsibility.

Over 90% of Covid-related deaths have been among those aged 70 and over, and nearly half of all Covid deaths have been in care homes, the government says.

Mr Tegnell said his agency (Sweden's Public Health Agency) was not responsible for directing the elderly care system, and added all stakeholders needed to help to improve the situation to make sure the elderly did not get infected.

@fire with fire stab at it

None of this is to say that Sweden did anything "right." I do not believe there is a "right" way to fight anything, let alone a "novel" virus through public health measures.

as I doubt Sweden's laissez-faire approach on a worldwide basis would have resulted in a morally or politically acceptable number of deaths, while at the same time public health officials surely have learned there are some things to do and not do during a pandemic, even faced with a novel virus.

My sense of it is these things should have been done:

1) March - June 2020: A total, coordinated worldwide lockdown involving all non-essential activities and travel nationally and internationally. Gov'ts would subsidize businesses and self-employed. Pay me now, or pay me later should have been the mindset. Because Trump was so self-interested about the virus, thinking initially it would be a Blue state problem, this early opportunity for the US to lead the world to prevent the virus from gaining a major foothold was lost.

2) The WHO and leaders of the major countries of the world would coordinate activities such as creating a smallish-so-manageable world health task force to find effective treatment measures for worldwide distribution asap, as well as promoting healthful immune system-building defensive measures. Finding effective, safe and cheap treatments would be prong #1 of a 2-prong approach to combating the virus. Re-purposed drugs would play the major role in this effort. Public communication in major media among individual and small group doctors would be encouraged, not censored. Immune system strengthening efforts would be promoted in massive public information PSA campaigns involving all forms of mass media. Gov'ts would issue at-home treatment kits to the population, as India does in Uttar Pradesh.

3) Gov'ts would distribute free N95 masks to all their population. Emergency Production laws in the US would be the basis for mass production of masks and all PPE, ensuring no shortages. As better research would show the virus is overwhelmingly transmitted via sustained indoor contact, there would be no controversies arising from moderate-sized outdoor gatherings, while more emphasis would be on making indoor spaces safer, as with better ventilation and air purification.

4) Cheap at-home testing kits would be distributed to everyone

5) Prong #2 would be the secondary track of finding safe and effective vaccines as a long-term goal. This should always have been a secondary priority after finding truly safe and effective treatment protocols. Instead, the US and most of the world spent 2020 passively awaiting the arrival of vaccines. A lack of competent and uncorrupted US and world leadership is directly responsible for the idiocy or prioritizing vaccines over treatment. Thanks again to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Merck, Pfizer, Moderna and probably the Rockafella Foundation for this bass ackwards approach.

2-3 months of hardship with lockdowns at the outset. Tough, but necessary. But not feasible now. Most countries have experienced at least some form of semi-lockdown or annoying mask measures, and now vaccine mandates are creating social turmoil. Realistically there is a limit to how long a population can be expected to endure such limits on their freedom without devolving into open rebellion.

As for the rest, it represents what I think should have happened in a smarter, less corrupt world.

...but not the one would have taken (given my current understanding ... so realize it has been a moving target as things have progressed).
So given my understanding today, I would not have shut down except for nursing homes, senior centers, and other places where the elderly (and those with co-morbidities like cancer centers) are concentrated. Protect The vulnerable.

Instead I would have put the full court press on ventilation, distancing, and as much outdoor exchanges/markets/etc. as possible. Including outdoor classrooms weather permitting. The Alpha variant took long term face to face exchange for transmission.
People need to be educated about effective masking...a cloth mask is pretty ineffective.

Vit D test kits should have been widely available. Most Americans have low D levels. And boost zinc, quercetin, and NAC especially for those being exposed (nurses, doctors, etc)

The importance of effective virucidal mouthwash and nasal sprays emphasized.

Dr Mina's inexpensive paper spit tests distributed for people to use when they were out and about.

So it is my opinion the massive lockdowns (and economic chaos) could have been avoided with proper preparation.

And my final rec (surprise) Treatments with first symptoms. We sent people home to die or turn blue and return with NO, that's right, NO treatments. I still contend the FLCCC protocols could get us out of this situation by years end. But instead, that info is suppressed, discouraged, and propagandized by the MSM.

I think the vaccines could have been much better...for example a nasal spray formulation and application placing the immune response at the site of infection.

In our knee jerk (and our profit oriented) approach, we reacted poorly. I know I over reacted initially and was way over cautious, primarily because of the fomite hypothesis of transmission which proved almost non-existent.

Big points here:
OUTSIDE as much as possible
early treatments
prevention through nutrition and supplements
protection with good masks and distancing
Cheap paper tests for people out and about.

Those are my thoughts, of course your ideas are valid to you.

@Lookout in agreement about the efficacy of FLCCC protocols. But I was trying more to look at the situation of what was known in March 2020 as the situation began to be recognized as a true pandemic and as no solid ideas about effective treatment were yet at hand. Iirc, individual experiments with IVM, HCQ and the like didn't begin until roughly Apr 2020, and the FLCCC protocols weren't arrived at until towards the end of 2020 (the Mayo Clinic and Harvard Medical have yet to publish updated, advanced Covid protocols, 19 months into the pandemic). My suggestion was meant as an important first major step for gov'ts to take, worldwide, to act to begin to stop the virus in its tracks, as coordinated investigation into these treatments was underway.

On protecting, isolating the vulnerable, today that's a worthy objective, as the death numbers are clearly hitting the elderly and much less younger age groups. But in Mar 2020 it strikes me as a risky half-measure, perhaps too narrowly tailored to adequately stymie the spread of what was then a more deadly virus.

@Lookout have done more than do-nothing Trump did, which was largely just to dismiss the seriousness of the pandemic ("It's just a few cases"; "It looks like it'll be over by Easter") or wish and hope it just somehow stayed in the Blue states, while a few months later he announces what should normally be a long-term objective, the vaccines. We are not talking about a competent or sane leader with the Donald, probably the worst leader we could have gotten for the crisis at hand.

I would have called in the best viral/pandemic experts in the land, not just the ones attached to our public health agencies, gotten perhaps a range of views, then watched closely as they tried to work out areas of disagreement, which side seemed to have the upper hand in the arguments, as well as noted the common areas of agreement for immediate action. Biden, only marginally better as it turns out, still is apparently only listening to a very narrow range of voices, his public health officials, Fauci primarily. Did it not occur to the very experienced Biden or some of the smarter ones in his inner circle that the views he is getting are too much on the same page and may well just be the mouthpieces for Big Pharma?

Definitely the complete failure to initiate a rapid response to the virus on the Treatment front was a huge blunder, criminally negligent, costing hundreds of thousands of lives. First put out the fire, then after that work on ways to prevent such fires in the future.

up

@Lookout which occurs to me in this discussion, which is usually overlooked, is the extent to which this virus, regardless of degree of immediate illness suffered from infection, might linger dormant in the body for years only to emerge in the long term to wreak havoc on bodily organs. Speculative of course as this is a novel virus, but other viruses have shown such tendency to lie low in the body for years only to re-emerge much later, despite the apparent victory of the immune system or pharmaco measures. If true, it's another argument against just letting it run its course and in favor of making the utmost effort to check its spread and bring it to a more modest, manageable size asap.

Take note of the date of this WHO report!

China was well on the way to bringing the pandemic under control before the end of February, 2020. Meanwhile, the US government did little to nothing during this period. In fact, the federal government did things to exacerbate the situation which directly led to the unnecessary death of hundreds of thousands and destroyed the economic livelihood of millions. China's government literally put the entire country on a war footing against this pandemic. They spared no expense to look after their people. The only people the US looked after were the billionaires who just got richer by trillions of dollars.

Report of the WHO-China Joint Mission on Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
16-24 February 2020

I. The Mission

Goal and Objectives

The overall goal of the Joint Mission was to rapidly inform national (China) and international planning on next steps in the response to the ongoing outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-191) and on next steps in readiness and preparedness for geographic areas not yet affected.

The major objectives of the Joint Mission were as follows:

  • To enhance understanding of the evolving COVID-19 outbreak in China and the nature and impact of ongoing containment measures;
  • To share knowledge on COVID-19 response and preparedness measures being implemented in countries affected by or at risk of importations of COVID-19;
  • To generate recommendations for adjusting COVID-19 containment and response measures in China and internationally; and
  • To establish priorities for a collaborative programme of work, research and development to address critical gaps in knowledge and response and readiness tools and activities.

...
II. Major findings

The major findings are described in six sections: the virus, the outbreak, transmission dynamics, disease progression and severity, the China response and knowledge gaps. More detailed descriptions of technical findings are provided in Annex C.
...
III. Assessment

The Joint Mission drew four major conclusions from its work in China and four major conclusions from its knowledge of the broader global response to COVID-19. Recommendations are offered in five major areas to inform the ongoing response globally and in China.

The China Response & Next Steps

1. In the face of a previously unknown virus, China has rolled out perhaps the most ambitious, agile and aggressive disease containment effort in history. The strategy that underpinned this containment effort was initially a national approach that promoted universal temperature monitoring, masking, and hand washing. However, as the outbreak evolved, and knowledge was gained, a science and risk-based approach was taken to tailor implementation. Specific containment measures were adjusted to the provincial, county and even community context, the capacity of the setting, and the nature of novel coronavirus transmission there.
...
2. Achieving China’s exceptional coverage with and adherence to these containment measures has only been possible due to the deep commitment of the Chinese people to collective action in the face of this common threat. At a community level this is reflected in the remarkable solidarity of provinces and cities in support of the most vulnerable populations and communities. Despite ongoing outbreaks in their own areas, Governors and Mayors have continued to send thousands of health care workers and tons of vital PPE supplies into Hubei province and Wuhan city.
...
3. China’s bold approach to contain the rapid spread of this new respiratory pathogen has changed the course of a rapidly escalating and deadly epidemic. A particularly compelling statistic is that on the first day of the advance team’s work there were 2478 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in China. Two weeks later, on the final day of this Mission, China reported 409 newly confirmed cases. This decline in OVID-19 cases across China is real.
...
4. China is already, and rightfully, working to bolster its economy, reopen its schools and return to a more normal semblance of its society, even as it works to contain the remaining chains of COVID-19 transmission. Appropriately, a science-based, risk-informed and phased approach is being taken, with a clear recognition and readiness of the need to immediately react to any new COVID-19 cases or clusters as key elements of the containment strategy are lifted.
...
The Global Response & Next Steps

1. The COVID-19 virus is a new pathogen that is highly contagious, can spread quickly, and must be considered capable of causing enormous health, economic and societal impacts in any setting. It is not SARS and it is not influenza. Building scenarios and strategies only on the basis of well-known pathogens risks failing to exploit all possible measures to slow transmission of the COVID-19 virus, reduce disease and save lives.
...
2. China’s uncompromising and rigorous use of non-pharmaceutical measures to contain transmission of the COVID-19 virus in multiple settings provides vital lessons for the global response. This rather unique and unprecedented public health response in China reversed the escalating cases in both Hubei, where there has been widespread community transmission, and in the importation provinces, where family clusters appear to have driven the outbreak.
...
3. Much of the global community is not yet ready, in mindset and materially, to implement the measures that have been employed to contain COVID-19 in China. These are the only measures that are currently proven to interrupt or minimize transmission chains in humans. Fundamental to these measures is extremely proactive surveillance to immediately detect cases, very rapid diagnosis and immediate case isolation, rigorous tracking and quarantine of close contacts, and an exceptionally high degree of population understanding and acceptance of these measures.
...
4. The time gained by rigorously applying COVID-19 containment measures must be used more effectively to urgently enhance global readiness and rapidly develop the specific tools that are needed to ultimately stop this virus.
...
IV. Major Recommendations
...

PS. I followed these events on a daily basis since the end of December, 2019. A few people even complained about my "excessive" posting about China at the time.

@CB more organized and aggressive in combatting the virus, and done so on a national scale, not leaving it to its regions or states to decide, as in India and the US, and also taking a more zero-tolerance approach. Of course some of that is to be expected, as the virus started there and authorities may have learned early on that it started in one of their labs (TBD, my speculation). Also people in China are entirely accustomed to stern measures being issued from on high, and with major public resistance a non-factor, universal compliance is a given.

One thing which seems to be absent is the use of IVM. Also no vaccine mandates? Both interesting features. We'll see as winter approaches and the population is more often indoors how the Chinese approach works. Right now we're just seeing promising snapshots in time.

with the SARS-CoV-2. The country had already experienced the swine and bird flu that decimated their pig and chicken production under questionable circumstances in the previous 3 years.

I'm tending to think that they were set up by TPTB to have "probable cause" for COVID-19 to have originated in Wuhan. Once the Chinese government knew what they were dealing with, they completely shut down a city larger than NYC plus an entire province of 60 million. Hubei province is a manufacturing hub with primary industry accounting for 10% of China's GDP and secondary and tertiary industry at 45% of GDP. The city is also at the very nexus of the high speed railway that covers China. If you want to hurt China badly, this place at this time (Chinese New Year) would be a strike it's very heart.

The shots are still under emergency use authorization, and there’s no official document from government, be it in the form of legislation, law or regulation, that grants a legal basis for the mandate. This woman speaks for me.

"Whenever a government professes to have a people’s interest at heart you need to think again. In the entire history of mankind there has never been a political elite that was concerned about the well-being of people. Never take anything the government tells you at face value. Whenever a political elite pushes an agenda this hard, and resort to extortion and manipulation to get their way, you can almost always be sure your benefit is definitely not what they had at heart. Always ask cui bono? You can’t give me freedom because I am a free person."
Our rights are inalienable. Period. Granted to us by our creator whomever that is!
Full transcript at link above.

I posted this a few days ago and didn’t see anyone comment on it.

We know that if our own government really wanted us to be well we’d have gotten single payer long ago. We wouldn’t have watched as big business stripped labor laws, or gutted workers compensation laws or let cops kill 1,000s of us without repercussions. Or, or, OR! Even the vaunted FDR only did the new deal to stave off a massive change to the way the elite robs us of life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Or the pursuit of humanity towards all.

Biden wears his mask outside the Vatican, but once inside he goes bareback when meeting the pope? The queen didn’t wear one when she met with Gates and Kerry and then spent a few days in hospital. Merkel and Macroon wear theirs outside and chuck them inside?

World leaders are meeting in person sans masks this year while kids across the country are wearing theirs. None of it makes sense to me because those who make the rules don’t have to follow them themselves. Newsom, Pelosi, countless governors. SF mayor said that you must wear your mask, but when caught not wearing hers it was okay because she got caught up in having fun. Doh!

This has never been explained either.

So sad that we've come to this. Made me think about V for Vendetta. We sure could use V now.

All through Europe, governments have gone to great length to get people vaccinated. We were promised the vaccinations will be a “game changer”, and it will restore our freedom…turns out none of that was true. It does not render you immune, you can still contract the virus and you can still be infectious.

The only thing this vaccine did for sure was to spill billions and billions of dollars in the pockets of pharmaceutical companies.

I voted against the digital green certificate back in April, unfortunately it was adopted nonetheless, and this just goes to show there is only a minority of MEPs who truly stand for European values. The majority of MEPs, for whatever reasons unbeknown to me, obviously support oppression of the people while claiming – shamelessly – to do it for the people’s own good.

But it is not the goal that renders a system oppressive it is always the methods by which the goal is pursued. Whenever a government claims to have the people’s interest at heart, you need to think again.

In the entire history of mankind there has never been a political elite sincerely concerned about the well-being of regular people. What makes any of us think that it is different now? If the age of enlightenment has brought forth anything then, certainly this: never take anything any government tells you at face value

Always question everything any government does or does not do. Always look for ulterior motives. And always ask cui bono?, who benefits?

Whenever a political elite pushes an agenda this hard, and resort to extortion and manipulation to get their way, you can almost always be sure your benefit is definitely not what they had at heart.

As far as I’m concerned, I will not be vaccinated with anything that has not been properly vetted and tested and has shown no sound scientific evidence that the benefits outweigh the disease itself in possible long-term side effects, which to this day we don’t know anything about.

I will not be reduced to a mere guinea pig by getting vaccinated with an experimental drug, and I will most assuredly not get vaccinated because my government tells me to and promises, in return, I will be granted freedom.

Let’s be clear about one thing: No one grants me freedom for I am a free person.

So, I dare the European Commission and the German government: Throw me in jail, lock me up and throw away the key for all I care. But you will never be able to coerce me into being vaccinated if I, the free citizen that I am, choose not to be vaccinated.

@Lookout These COVID threads are very good, for bringing many sources to one place; for giving us room to try ideas out and to give us a hope of understanding what is going on. The various perspectives and unique areas of interest or expertise are putting a well rounded set of information for us to explore.

It is better than I thought it would be and a good historical record.

Thanks everyone.

57 Top Scientists and Doctors Release Shocking Study on COVID Vaccines and Demand Immediate Stop to All Vaccinations

There are still far too many unanswered questions regarding the Covid-19 vaccines’ safety, efficacy, and necessity. This study is a bombshell that should be heard by everyone, regardless of their views on vaccines. There aren’t nearly enough citizens who are asking questions. Most people simply follow the orders of world governments, as if they have earned our complete trust. They haven’t done so. This manuscript is a step forward in terms of accountability and the free flow of information on this crucial subject. Please take the time to read it and share it widely.

Many doctors are saying that it’s unethical to cover up the harm the vaccines are causing and continue telling us that they are perfectly safe. Every month the numbers of deaths go up more than what they were when the swine flu vaccine was stopped at 50 deaths. They have killed more people than all other vaccines since they were tracked. Walensky is on the Twit daily telling women that if they are pregnant they should not be afraid of taking them. Nurses all over the country are saying that they are seeing more deaths or hideous injuries from vaccines and it’s being covered up. The vaccines were never tested on pregnant women. Walensky uses weasel words like they look safe and it seems that they are safe or she hopes they are safe.

The CDC and FDA have never been in charge of vaccines like they are now and they are doing big pharma's bidding. I doubt they can hide the truth much longer, but of course they will either blame the unvaxxed or a new variant if they risk being exposed. The world never defeated Hitler’s ideology, they went underground and continued working on it and then they exported it. Let’s just hope that we have another Nuremberg trial some day.

Was Humpty Dumpty pushed?

We the People of Planet Earth were never asked what we thought about public health measures to combat the sickness and death caused in whole or in part by the virus. It was just announced to us, by a bizarre and unprecedented cacophony of elected officials, public health officials, corporations and media figures without a peep of public debate.

Here is what I had to say about this as it was unfolding:

.

September 14,2020
.
.

From Wikipedia:

"Withering away of the state" is a Marxist concept coined by Friedrich Engels referring to the idea that, with realization of the ideals of socialism, neoliberalism, the social institution of a state will eventually become obsolete and disappear as the society will be able to govern itself without the state and its coercive enforcement of the law.

.
.

On March 10, 2020, the National Basketball Association shut itself down to prevent the spread of Covid-19, before either the Federal Government or any State had issued any such order. College basketball immediately revised its previous decision to play March Madness without fans to cancel the championship tournament. By the end of that week, toilet paper disappeared and grocery shopping became a dystopian nightmare.

At the time I thought that was bizarre and ever since I have marveled at the weird mix of public and private sector decision making in this crisis. The daily ration of "news" features much reporting and even more speculation about the creation of a vaccine, a deus ex machina that is hoped will smite the evil virus. Once it exists. So now there are literally hundreds of for profit corporations racing, literally racing, for the bonanza of getting there first. It is the policy of our government to encourage this race and that gazillion dollar payoff is considered the best inducement to ensure success.

So who is going to decide which Magic Injection is first? That implies being sure that it will work as advertised. Who makes that call? Trump? Biden? The Ghost of Mr. Science?

This begs the even bigger question of who is in charge now?

I take no position in this screed as to whether anybody intended for this to happen, but we are watching the withering away of the state, as naively predicted by Engels to give way to the fair distribution of production established by a triumphant working class. It turns out that driving force now is The Corporation. Having corrupted the State and rendered it useless through intentional incompetence, The Corporation is now replacing The State as the setter of rules and the enforcement of social discipline.

You see the First Amendment rendered obsolete by Social Media mega-corporations who now define the truth and suppress what used to called dissent as toxic disinformation.

You see the basic premise of democracy thrown out the window because of the virus. It takes "science" to deal with it, not your own ignorant and selfish point of view. So, although the elected leaders like Trump, Cuomo and Newsome are the guys on TV telling us what the decisions were, they ain't scientists either. And guess what? We have a political debate about whether each of those Electeds really listened to real science.

Where to we find Science to get the right answer? Who pays for science these days? Who signs the paychecks for the scientists who really know the right answer? How many professional researchers are drawing checks that are absolutely free of political or corporate taint?

.

Where I live in West Hollywood, California, there has been civil unrest, rioting, enough looting to oblige virtually every merchant to board up the storefront -- yet almost everybody wears their mask in public. For whatever reason, people around here take the virus seriously, even when they are looting. Well, they ain't obeying Trump, that's for sure. And they ain't obeying the police.

But they do obey Science.

.

Six months after starting the national shutdown, the National Basketball Association created a studio version of the sport and the playoffs are currently proceeding in a Disney owned property called, The Bubble. On the floor of the basketball court you see written in letters bigger than the paid advertising, "Black Lives Matter." Same thing with the women's pro league.

And you can find Black Lives Matter Public Service Announcements on television regularly and if you look quickly at the end, you can see that it was produced by The Ad Council.

I have no complaint against corporate America changing sides and supporting the idea of BLM. It is better than the opposite. But, holy shit!!! This is now a corporate institution that goes far beyond just the NBA. You have the broadcast partners at Disney and WarnerMedia, and you have all their zillion sponsors -- all driving home this message directly connected to the riots.

I repeat, I would rather have the networks saying nice things about the profound outrage that drove two weeks of mostly peaceful demonstrations all over the country than calling for the National Guard to restore order. But, uh, something is not quite right about all this.

We also have the strange movement to Defund The Police. Of all the ways to address the longing for a fair, honest, honorable and compassionate police department, cutting off the money cold turkey is probably the stupidest. It is also the surest way to motivate cops to be pigs -- to come after their jobs.

But it does occur to me that if the urban police department does not survive the coming Depression and social upheaval, the gooniest of the goons will have no trouble finding work in private security, working for corporations who will make sure that they have all the law and order they need, as the State withers away.

The original selling point of neoliberalism was that anything the State can do for you, a profit making operation can do it better. They have already "privatized" prisons and schools. The virus is speeding up the process of government discrediting itself.

The chaos of the election that both parties are planning will be a hoot. Probably the last one.

.
.

Now is not the time for bemoaning the chaotic state of our social order. It is time to fight back against the mendacious narrative manufactured by that same amorphous ad hoc association of politicians, health bureaucrats and greed machines.

I have no quarrel with any ex post facto idea for how it should have been handled. But as wokkamile put it quite eloquently above, public policy in this area has a limit of "a morally or politically acceptable number of deaths." As I have forlornly argued as a gadfly on this board for a year and a half, these are all political decisions -- not science.

Science has taken the place of religion in our Brave New World. Unfortunately neither gods nor science can help us wrest power from the assholes who are fucking up everything for no good reason.

Humans caused this problem and humans will either let it kill us all or we will find a way to stop this insanity.

here on C99. I gave up on effecting the system long ago. Sounds like striking workers might help stop these absurd mandates for leaky vaccines. I'm sorry about the kids...I would encourage parents to avoid vaccination.

Still a murky future. We'll just have to weather as best we can.

At the time I thought that was bizarre and ever since I have marveled at the weird mix of public and private sector decision making in this crisis.

In the naked capitalism article I posted above a doctor said that companies are asking the same questions to people who ask for religious exemptions. They want to know how they can take aspirin, tums, Tylenol and one other since they were made from fetal cells. SMH. How long has aspirin been available and what’s its source? Biden met with big businesses and the chamber of commerce after his executive order on mandatory vaccines. I still don’t see how it’s legal to do it when they don’t have full authorization nor have they finished testing them?

Having corrupted the State and rendered it useless through intentional incompetence, The Corporation is now replacing The State as the setter of rules and the enforcement of social discipline.

Oligarchy, fascism or inverted totalitarianism..take your choice. We know that we have no say in our government anymore and they only do the bidding of their donors. They told Ryan to cut taxes or else no more money and then they wrote the bill republicans passed. Pelosi does that same thing. Taxation without representation and still people choose sides and refuse to see that there is only one side and that’s the side of the parasite class. Same damn thing with this Covid crisis. Never before has there been a push for everyone to take an experimental vaccine and one that is deadly to hundreds of thousands. The massive transfer of money upwards should have given us a clue to what is going on.

American Airlines has cancelled about a thousand flights this weekend
due to striking workers. The company blames it on the weather but ..

Same thing as Southwest went thru last weekend. Same excuse.
Please don't broadcast the truth. People may think there is something amiss.

The rank and file are disagreeing with management as to mandated vax.

Line in the sand. Perhaps observant individuals can parse this BS out?

Dawg knows it ain't about the weather. It's the people running these aero planes.

Even as the US govt. bails out the industry, still having major problems with the
employees. In other words, fuck the mandates. Ain't gonna take it...

We have absolutely no way of even making an educated guess as to what the majority of the human race who do not post on social media or read politically oriented websites are thinking about anything.

They are the balance of power in the donnybrook to come over the total rearrangement of economic life that has taken place while we have all had our eyes on this shiny object called Covid.

much ignoring the epidemic. It’s been this way since the beginning here. Of course people did wear masks at first, but not many wear them now. I just got back from the store and a few people wore them, but even the employees there have theirs down around their chins. After they complied for 18 months. A few people wear them in their cars and I’ve seen a few wearing them at the cemetery where they are alone. No one bugs anyone about it either. Live and let live here.

I’m wondering why more people aren’t questioning the need for a 4th booster so soon after getting their 3rd? And why they aren’t seeing the news from places like Israel? Uninformed people are easy to fool.

TPTB control the MSM megaphone, and people are not allowed to know what is really going on.

Did a brief search on canceled flights this weekend...
https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/american-airlines-cancels-flights-due-to...

American Airlines cancelled more than 800 flights on Friday and Saturday and expects more than 400 cancellations on Sunday.

American Airlines CEO David Seymour said in a memo to staff on Saturday that the difficulties began on Thursday with strong wind storms that blocked capacity at the company's Dallas hub and delayed staff positioning for upcoming flights.

There were some other source with the same story.

Ignorance is bliss....enjoy!

Here he talks about how the head of the CDC is ignoring vaccine injuries and deaths.

https://stevekirsch.substack.com/p/its-time-for-john-su-to-go

This leads us all to the inevitable conclusion that all of the safety monitoring people at the FDA and CDC are either completely incompetent or corrupt or both. Clearly they can’t find a safety signal to save their lives. And as far as I can tell, they absolutely refuse to listen to any outside input telling them of the problem.

Why are we vaccinating kids?

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S221475002100161X?via%...

VAERS is just an early warning system for how safe vaccines are, but this epidemic we are being told that it’s not accurate because anyone can post on the site. This is not true because only people determined to make a report will jump through the hoops to do it because it’s very tedious. It takes up to 30 minutes to get one case on I. Doctors don’t have the time to do it and besides they aren’t being told about it. The lines for vaccine injuries look a lot like Singapore's case numbers. Flatline until it went vertical. People know that they are not being told the truth about vaccines safety and it’s why they will not take them and why Biden’s 70% rate will never happen here.

85774DE4-07CA-46C7-94D0-1FE010ED0DCE.png

The FDA and CDC really don’t like Aaron Siri at all because he asks hard questions. For example, in his substack article, FDA Buries Data on Seriously Injured Child in Pfizer’s Covid-19 Clinical Trial, he pointed out how Pfizer gamed the clinical trials to make appear safe:

"The rules of the trial were that all recipients experiencing side effects were to have them addressed by a study doctor. Seeking medical care outside of the study automatically results in the subject's removal from the study. Since severe side effects are likely to result in an emergency room visit at the local hospital, this ensures the majority of serious side effects will be pared from the study data."

Highly recommend reading this article.

Anyone else seeing messages from the PTB that strokes and heart attacks in kids is not unusual? They are building the cover for when more kids get injured. Or die.
