Tickets for the Met Gala are $30,000 just to get in the door. Up to $200,000 for the top tier event.

Woman Attending Ultra-Exclusive Gala For The Elite In Expensive Designer Dress Lectures Nation On Inequality

A rich, politically powerful woman, extremely privileged in her upbringing and current societal status, attended an ultra-exclusive gala for the elite today in an expensive designer dress, sources confirmed.

The woman attended the $30,000 event in order to wear a message on the designer dress that 99.9999% of women through all of human history could only dream of ever affording. That message was that inequality is a real problem and that we need to tax the rich more. "She is simply stunning her in her beautiful Tax the Rich dress," said one entertainment reporter. "What a powerful message for all of us poors."

At publishing time, the woman had momentarily considered that maybe she is actually part of the wealthy bourgeoisie and not an oppressed minority, but she quickly brushed the disturbing thought aside.

Meanwhile outside the event cops were arresting peaceful protesters and of course inflicting violence on them. Nothing says "welcome to the hunger games like the rich partying whilst wealth inequality keeps rising and millions are being evicted from their homes and apartments.

One more Trump-phope heard from.

The way he made a beeline for the girl is just as gross. My gawd he just can't help himself. And then to take off his mask to blow her a kiss? WTF Joe.

Here is CNN calling out Biden's hypocrisy for not doing much different that what Trump did. Throwing kids back into schools so that parents have babysitters so they can get their buttocks back to work and make more money for the upper 1%.

But speaking of taxing the rich, Richie Rich Neal (D) is refusing to raise taxes back on the rich to at least the Obama levels. Of course the story was written to say that democrats are raising taxes on the rich over at ToP. SOme of the most misinformed people and probably because the only watch MSDNC and the Clinton News Network. Oh yeah and they are pissed whenever those 2 networks are critical of the Harris/Biden admin.

ICYMI this video of prominent dems saying that they won't take the Trump vaccines.

Joe Biden's presidential campaign was built on two pillars -- "I'm going to shut down the virus" and I am not Donald Trump. He is failing on both promises, as Covid rages and Biden's behavior more and more mirrors his predecessor's.

It is doubtful this will work. In fact, it may backfire as many unvaccinated Americans recoil against being told what to do when it comes to their own health care, if you believe recent polling. Heck, the same day Biden was rolling out his plan directing the Labor Department to require all employers with more than 100 workers to require either the vaccine or regular testing, Vice President Kamala Harris was making videos supporting abortion rights using the my body, my choice arguments common on the left.

And during his speech Thursday, Biden said his new plan was necessary to "protect vaccinated workers from unvaccinated co-workers." If you believe in the efficacy of the vaccines, why do the vaccinated need protection?

It was just in July that his CDC director, Rochelle Walensky, and White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that there would be no national vaccination mandates. Now we have mandates and an angry president who has given up on his supposed legendary empathy in favor of the kind of dictatorial style that Democrats once hammered Trump for.

I got the polio and smallpox vaccines to protect myself, not people who had already taken it. And just imagine if both vaccines allowed us to continue getting mild cases and spreading it to others or possibly dying from them. Think they would have passed or worked? Do ya?

Mandates are to protect businesses from being sued if they force people to take the vaccine and have adverse effects from them. Nice. Government is always willing to protect them over we the people. OSHA was totally absent from forcing businesses to provide PPE for their workers, but now..........!

They are not even pretending any more. This was a big f*ck you to the proletariat. If AOC wanted to even keep some semblance of fighting for the people, she would not have done this She is just an actress who does NOT care about anything but her brand. Below some twitter reaction.

@gulfgal98

AOC does opportunism well, but fight for the working class? Not so much.

AOC is great at saying nice things, but when push comes to shove she is awol. As you stated people were being arrested outside the nice little gala where the high and mighty once again shun wearing masks like they did at Obama's birthday shindig. And when there was a 50 state march for MFA and as Jimmy points out in the video lookout posted nowhere to be seen when people were asking for help for millions being evicted.

But she and the rest of the bogus squad will continue tweeting out nonsense and asking what it'd do for your families if it passed. The responses lately have been excellent. Manchin is the ONLY dem that can use his power? Bernie couldn't have done the same for the massive transfer of wealth, and the squad keeps voting to give Pelosi everything she wants even tho they continue to say otherwise.

AOC pulled an Obama, but it took her 2nd term to do it. Cori Bush flipped almost immediately. She knows damn well how eviction and homelessness affects people, but now where is she? I'm surprised she wasn't at the gala telling us to eat the rich.

This seems like a double standard

Dutch historian Rutger Bregman last week called out billionaires at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, accusing them of not paying their fair share in taxes amid discussions on the impacts of inequality.

Bregman, in a now-viral video posted by Now This on Monday, spoke at a panel and criticized the world’s elite in attendance at the conference for avoiding their taxes.

Why was Bregman feted and AOC was a horrible person?
Seems like a double-standard to me.
