Long live Jerry Garcia's music

It is immortal. And our detriment that Jerry Garcia himself is not. Sad

Hi EL! Thanks for the reminder. Yeah man, awesome sauce... Jerry was a one-of-a-kind player. He could play anything, any style, and had this incredible ability to be so spontaneously creative with it, like very few musicians. A player's player. World class awesome he was. Long live Jerry's jams!

Heard the Dead live just once at a huge Univrsity of Washington sports place. Not sure what song it was, or if it was a song - but they played a long series of ends-of-a-song as a song itself.
Maybe that's what this collection is too?
Am I correct in thinking that somehow they've still managed to keep out of the traps of the music industry?

@Creosote.

They'be stayed pretty much out of the grasp of the music industry and are very well represented in the Internet Archive among other things instead.
