Using the Homeless to Guard Empty Houses

As the pandemic makes an already terrible housing crisis worse, a new version of house-sitting signals a broken real-estate market.

Just what it says, a short and good read.

Oddities: Maybe you know the type, every time they read of a medical condition or allergy, they suspect they have it or, sometimes just start asserting that they do and behaving at least quasi appropriately. [Oh no, I can't have any bread, I'm gluten intolerant. Ooooh, are those doughnuts?]

So appears that two colliding galaxies of conspriracists have generated some comedy. 5G is coming and/or is here and is causing horrible things from Covid-19 to some weird "blue fog". Many who have jumped on the 5G bandwagon do not really know the entirety and/or substance of what it asserts and on what basis. Meanwhile, there are huge numbers who are sure that "EMF" (whatever they think it may be) is causing them much distress and maladies. NOT those who, whether psychomatic or not, really have had to move to remote areas to get away from radio and tv signals in order to suppress seemingly bona-fide symptoms, mind you.

These two groups seem to have cross fertilized to the extent that somebody is now selling, and folks are now buying Faraday Cages for their WiFi routers. These are advertised as blocking 95% of the EMF from said routers and seemingly do just that, meaning that the purchasers who have installed such shielding now only get WiFi linked signals, including phones for some, if the device is right next to the router.

5G conspiracy theorists are selling Faraday cages to put your router in. But there's a problem.

@edg

Of course, if yu wish to make your phone non-trackable and all that, or your chipped passport unreadable, they could serve a purpose, but overkill imo.

be well and have a good one.

Putting your wireless router inside a Faraday cage to block 5G RF makes about as much sense as removing the wheels from your car to save on gasoline. Yeah, it'll work, but......

With some of these folks, it seems the "blue fog" preceded the 5G.
