Kamala Harris Shows LOVE For Wall Street, Bush Neocons In Debate

Video qued to Harris talking about it.

The Bush neocons who are supporting Biden/Harris are the ones involved in the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) who were instrumental in getting us into the Middle East debacle that has cost civilians in Iraq, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Yemen and who knows where else their lives and has displaced 39 million plus people. Many of the PNAC goons are involved in the Lincoln Project which centrist idiots have embraced even thought they are responsible for many of the GOP creatures and their legislation that the current GOP are following. How do they not know that? How can they not see that if Biden returns to power and installs any of them in his cabinet that there is a good chance that Biden will pick up American hegemony where Obama left off? Yes Trump has relaxed rules of engagement and given generals full control over what happens in war zones that have increased civilian casualties, but he has no started a new war against Iran or Venezuela. Okay no shooting wars where we kill people with bombs, but he has put crippling sanctions on them which in itself is an act of war. And Pompeo just said that they will put even more sanctions on Iran that will make it harder for them to buy food and medicine for the people. Neither administration is going to take their foot off the peddle of American hegemony that kills untold numbers of people while many here say that the USA is the nice country in the world because we safe guard peace for the rest of it. Nice bubble.

'Outright Genocidal': Even as Iran Reels From Covid-19 Pandemic, Trump to Unveil Punishing New Sanctions

In a move that could further restrict Iran's access to humanitarian goods such as food and medicine at a time when the country is being ravaged by the coronavirus pandemic, the Trump administration is planning to impose punishing new sanctions on the Iranian financial sector reportedly at the behest of warmongers in the Republican Party, Israeli officials, and hawkish U.S. advocacy organizations.

I thought the looks Kamala gave Pence were childish. But her fans think that was the best part of the debate. Did they even hear her saying that many members of Bush's administration are backing them? If so why do they think that will be good for the country? I at first thought the debate was lite on discussing policies, but I had missed Kamala saying this and I think that right there shows more about policies than anything she could have said. Well besides, JOE BIDEN WILL NOT BAN FRACKING!! More than once. And shitted over the Green New Deal. Hey...what's the rush on climate change anyway? Biden has a policy that will take effect in 2050. You know 30 years after the point of no return.

How do Biden voters deal with his not going to stop the drilling and fracking that exploded during O's tenure?

The only question is do you want Biden who has made good committments to fighting climate change or Trump who has committed to Frack, Drill and Mine...peace

Nothing like ignoring that Biden will do what Trump is doing. Seriously how do people square that?

Oh but those raised eyebrows were just something else.

Raised Eyebrows And Side-Eye: Kamala Harris Was A Human GIF Machine At Debate

Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris got her point across even when she wasn’t speaking during Wednesday night’s debate with Vice President Mike Pence, responding with a range of looks almost custom-made for memes and GIFs.

The senator from California delivered shade with her facial expressions, from pitying smiles to straight-up side-eye, a range of looks that’ll almost certainly end up on “Saturday Night Live.”

Look at who else is in the Biden/Harris camp and you will see that we are returning to the Obama era. I have been saying that we already know what a Biden presidency is going to bring us because we see his history of 47 years in congress that went for the donor class while hurting the working class. And we saw him for 8 years as O's VP and I doubt he is going to change anything for our better.

Who won the debate in my opinion? The fly.

Incremental changes like Medicare Part D and the Affordable Care Act coupled with obeisance to Wall Street in domestic policy. The Project for a New American Century's ambition for global dominance in foreign policy. Better manners and more carefully crafted lies and less clumsy contradictions from POTUS.

The memory of George Walker Bush being the most disgusting President ever has been scrubbed clean by Donald Trump, who is all set to carry the blame for everything wrong with this country into exile.

TPTB want Biden because he's a pliable puppet. Trump is a loose cannon. It is all a charade... no need to get emotionally involved.

None the less it is still quite possible for Trump to win. His cult is rabid. Biden supporters are really just "not Trump" rather than pro-Biden. Biden is killing it in the polls but so was the $hill.

We'll see what we see. Remember it isn't how the people vote, it's how the votes are counted.

“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”

@Lookout Nationally she had a modest lead, six plus/minus three. Drilling down to the state polls, it was easy to read that she wouldn't carry FL or NC, two states she invested heavily in. She also continued to muck around in OH that had been lost by the end of August. NH polling was good enough that the only rational interpretation was that it was too close to call. Where the polling was weak was in PA. Good enough to call it for Toomey, the GOP Senate candidate, but not good enough to call it for either HRC or Trump. NV closed in early October for HRC. MI wasn't heavily polled, but what did exist didn't portend a Trump win. Why WI was so lightly and poorly polled remains a mystery to me as its generally a very close. Possibly because what polls existed indicated a strong win for Feingold. Johnson easily beat him, and that bubbled up to Trump and that was the election, even if HRC had carried MI and PA.

Only a fool lets someone else tell him who his enemy is. Assata Shakur

from Timothy Hagios:

To understand US politics, just look at professional wrestling. In front of the cameras, the wrestlers look and sound like they hate each other, even going so far as to piledrive each other and hit each other with chairs. Off-camera, they are owned by the same people sleep in the same hotel rooms.

The Republic Party uses conservative-coded rhetoric to justify the policies of its shareholders. The Democratic Party uses liberal-coded rhetoric to justify the same policies of the same shareholders.

The "leftist" initiatives of the Democratic Party are largely a bunch of giveaways to rich people dressed in liberal rhetoric. The best example is probably Obamacare, which literally forced the poor and dispossessed to hand over their meager earnings to large insurance corporations in exchange for fake health insurance that they couldn't actually afford to use.

I suspect that the pillars of the Harris Administration will be:

1) Continued "stimulus" for the wealthy elites and swamp creatures who are investing big in her candidacy
2) Warfare and plenty of foreign "intervention" to placate the Borg
3) Sexual and racial identity politics used to convince the gullible Democratic voters that points 1 and 2 are "liberal."

Another one from Tim:

I think the main reason why Trump hasn't started any new wars is just that we've run out of countries that we can invade without drawing in another major player. I expect that the wars will be mostly economic/propaganda under either Trump or Biden. We can only speculate about which of these lowlifes is more likely to stumble into WWIII.

Pence owns the chriso-fascists, and that's a major voting bloc. (He's about as human as Cheney, and so far the coronavirus recoils from him.) Larger than any single issue Democratic voting bloc. Trump adds the white racists and non-religious (beyond lip service) fascists and bullies of all colors and gender. Nationally that's not 50%, but it is more than that in most states. Still Trump has been such a disaster that he will lose and Biden wins by default.

are all-in going for the vote of the well-to-do. The rest of us do not matter to either of these women.

Nancy's premium ice cream, filling two giant freezers, plus the made to order one of a kind designer masks to match each and every outfit she wears, are a middle finger to every family struggling to feed, clothe and house themselves and their families.

Neither of these women are qualified to lead America as it is.

Maybe Nancy should lead her foursome afternoons at her exclusive country club.

Kamala? IDK where we'd be safe if she was leading anywhere.

...I won't, though; one vote in a semi-safe blue state (not that you'd know from living here) won't decide the election, all the more reason to contribute to the goal of getting the Green Party its long-awaited 5% (did I really hear that Lincoln Chafee is still running??? He was easily my second-favorite of the 2016 lineup, after Bernie)...

...but I REALLY hope Biden/Harris lose. Trump is terrible, but those two could set us back in ways no Republican could.

BY THE WAY, FOLKS: I've managed to convince my father he should no longer be a Democrat!

that putting groups of thugs in front of polling places with majorities likely to vote for the opposition party changes things in a way that no Democrat could. Then there is the attack on the Postal Service so Trump can attempt to have the Supreme Court invalidate the election.

Biden will move back into the Paris accords. Weak as they are they provide a base for moving forward. As I write just over 213,000 people have died in the United States from the Corona Virus. Calculations from reputable sources including Lancet estimate that the figure could have been 50% to 80% lower if Trump had listened to experts and developed a national strategy starting in February.

It may be that I've disliked Biden longer than anyone posting here. I'm not voting for Biden. I'm voting against fascism.

@FuturePassed Are you familiar with the army of violent (oddly-preppie) thugs Tom DeLay bused in to help George W Bush steal 2000 (as described in Jews For Buchanan, by John Nichols)?

As best I can tell, the entire idea that supporting Biden or his ilk is in any way a vote against fascism at this point hinges on the idea that there is something "unprecedented" about Trump - trouble is, if that is not the case, then acting as though it is not only fails to stop fascism, but validates it; "fascism's okay, just so long as it's anyone but Trump", that sort of thing. Basically all the awful things Trump has done are precedented, and opposing fascism has to mean opposing the people who set the precedent - and I am honestly terrified that they are exploiting Trump as a "Get Out of Accountability Free" card. We can't let that happen. Trump needs to get what's coming to him too, of course, but he's pretty far down the docket.

Apologies if I'm not communicating well enough; I formulated this reply about half-an-hour ago (I suck at tracking real time), but now that I type it feel like I'm spacing something.

I think I'm familiar with the major issues in that election. In my mind a large enough quantitative difference becomes a qualitative difference. There are a large number of well armed militia groups around the country who appear to be willing to engage in violence on Trumps tweeted orders.

As far as I know the previous efforts to which you refer were kept as secret as possible. These preparations are very public, I think to increase the level of intimidation. I am not a "Lesser of Two Evils" voter. I voted green in 2016. As far as I can tell what I'm seeing this time is different from the admittedly hideous activities in past elections. It isn't that the perpetrators shouldn't have been brought to justice. It's that if Trump gets 4 more years we may lose the ability, difficult as it is, to bring such perpetrators to justice.

Many thanks for your thoughtful response.

@FuturePassed It sounds like we want the same thing, we fear the same thing...we just can't figure out whether Trump is a vase or a pair of faces.

As for these armed militias you refer to...keep in mind that they are terrorist groups. Terrorists, by definition, have little to no real power without the ability to control others' emotions. Terror is a choice.

These groups have always been there under one banner or another, do people not realize that? I grew up knowing that there were people in this country who begrudged my family our very existence: My father a corrupting subhuman demonoid, my brother and I abominations, and my mother the worst of us all - a willing traitor (and a hippie! Wait 'till they find out about her time as a draft-dodger with one of her exes!). Frippery aside, there's nothing new there unless we consent to their reality; how different are they, really, from all the armed groups I'm supposed to be happy to be surrounded by?

I don't know; they just don't scare me.
