My friend is the editor. Sometimes called Hillvetica, or Hillary Bold by Rick Wolff. SO I used it to make a DK graphic. I thought it was hilarious, bu it didnt get much attention

and from there I clicked on the link for designer Rick Wolff's Twitter account. He has a good sense of humor too. Among the exchanges was this great little gem.

@RickWolff can you do 3D font and make it ‘we need you’ type thing? @mc_hankins

@BronwynHemsley @mc_hankins My font is deliberately as dimensionless as Hillary's logo.

As someone who had a background in design from way back in the stone age, I found that her logo is very awkward and clumsy looking. A logo gives a first impression of the product and should say something about that product. If her campaign paid for this, they got taken. It is a very poor logo that leaves a negative impression of the product, but then maybe it is appropriate after all. Wink

Do I hear the sound of guillotines being constructed?

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." ~ President John F. Kennedy

the logo is clunky and awkward, but there may be more there than meets the eye. Specifically the blue background letter with the red arrow pointing to the right may be a subliminal attempt to adjust peoples attitudes when Hillary veers to the right if/when she is elected. The clunkliness may be intentional, just like a really bad tv commercial is meant to stick in your mind exactly because it's so bad, that logo is so bad it has people thinking and talking about it. It's moving the overton window to the right subliminally.

than a baby laughing?!

That is so adorable, I played it twice and laughed like a loon the entire time. Smile

but I assume there must be brewing a brou-ha-ha over logos and fonts?

Very well…if this is what presidential campaigns have come down to...my two cents is the logo is perfect for Daily Kos…all of the action (in all its misdirections) is in bold red. Not much blue worth mentioning.
