Hey, guys.
I only just remembered that it was Saturday (and that, therefore, I needed to write an Open Thread for Sunday) at 10 p.m. The reason for that is that Kate got her transplant this week. She is doing well. But it is a time of great optimism and trepidation, and it has completely turned our lives on their collective ear.
So here is your Open Thread.

They are closing her up today.
The kidney has been steady as a drum from the get-go; the pancreas had one small setback that they corrected. They now feel confident enough to close her up.
