A quick note about the DNC keeping Polling Stations Open
As I'm sure most of you are aware the DNC had Florida, Arizona, and Illinois keep their polling stations open, during a fucking global pandemic. 
In Florida, where Corona virus cases have jumped 45%, FUCKING OVER night, I think it's important to take a look at where those cases are showing up.
The following image is a composite image I created using a heat map of the reported cases and a google map image of where the polling stations are.
Do you notice anything? Gee, the new cases are showing up where the fucking polling stations were kept open!
NBC Chicago is reporting new Corona virus cases too!
Fifty-five new confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported in Illinois, health officials said Tuesday, lifting the state total to 160 cases in 15 counties.
I haven't found comparable maps to do the same with Illinois or Arizona, yet.
I'm calling for the PROSECUTION of the entire DNC and Democrat party staff for Reckless Endangerment of the public in time of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, by keeping polling station open AGAINST ALL CDC guidelines!

Both the DNC and the RNC
are living on the votes--or, rather, the faith--of those older than 45, and most especially those over 60. That goes for their friends in corporate legacy media as well.
None of what's happening now is likely to sway more people under 45, or even under 60, to give their allegiance to these organizations.
As for the "election," it will go to whichever party cheats more effectively.

Yep, the GOP
takes care of business in the general. 50+ years of stealing elections. That's 1968, 1980, 2000, maybe 2004 (OH and FL), and whatever the GOP might have in the works (via GOP-controlled state leges in WI, PN and NC) for 2020.
Notice the consistent, aggressive pattern -- the GOP appears to have decided to continue doing it until they are caught -- and notice the Dem-enabling non-response response. Dems are the Polite, Good Loser Party.

We've just been analyzing the voting here in Cochise County. Early voting accounted for 9-10 times the number of votes cast on election day, across the board. 22 people voted, on election day, for candidates who had already dropped out of the race.

Had a conversation with an obstetrician on call during our three week lock down (babies still gonna be birthing regardless of what the government says).
She described children as 'little virus carrying menaces', who remain completely asymptomatic if not immune, but who can easily infect vulnerable adult populations.

2400+ now.
Onondaga county tripled today. 6 confirmed cases, which was to be expected as they finally opened a test clinic. But you still need to referred by a doctor.

I was doing polling change data entry for the Sanders campaign and I didn’t really see any closures in FL, so I’m wondering what the data control is. I’m also pretty handy with Tableau and I’d love to put it together.

I was gleaning data from different news web sites. The Johns Hopkins Coronavirus resource center website, isn't being updated properly, Dallas has 20 new cases, but none of the Dallas data is being updated at the JH website.
I'm trying to see if there's a correlation between where new cases are showing up and where polling locations are. I realize incubation is quite lengthy, but, the point is to show there was a clear and present danger prior too Tom Perez and the DNC telling people to go ahead and vote and for states to keep their primary going rather than do the prudent thing and make it a mail in or just cancel the primaries and we'll do a re-do vote later.
One of the MAJOR problems is finding "authoritative data sources" to be able to map where new cases are springing up and cross reference those with open polling locations.

but you do realize that:
that window has now been extended to up to 24 days.
but it was the polling stations? iirc, fivethirty-eight.dom had said that one of the poling sites in florida was at an old folks home, and they declined to be involved.
they'd also said that in michigan, the vote was low, due to long lines or precincts having closed down...that 538 member was too sloppy to be believed.
i won't even make a case for the inexactitude of the CDC's test kits, but they claim they were sent 'a bad batch'.
The voting still took place at low income senior housing
and in a lot of other places after the DNC said they wouldn't.
Basically the point is that the CDC told people not to be in large crowds, but the DNC refused to postpone them anyway which put a lot of people in danger of being exposed. Yes the incubation time is longer than one day, but in two weeks how many people who voted last night will get it?
Many places where people went to vote didn't have election judges or staff. Or the machines weren't working or they didn't have sanitizers and people were using the same pen. Texas alone has closed 750 voting places and Arizona closed 200 for last night. The guy who talked about it just said f'ck it I can't do this and walked off.
I think the rant is justified.

You think Texas closing voting places had to do with
the coronavirus? At that time, nobody was closing anything. There was no state of emergency.
If you want to argue, as Dr. Campbell does, that there SHOULD have been closures for that reason, I agree. But I find it extremely unlikely that those polls were closed because the forward-thinking Democratic Party of Texas was worried about coronavirus ahead of all other leadership in the country at all levels.
I'm pretty sure I know why Texas' polling places were closed. We can't have Texas going left of the DNC. It would ruin their story.

Yes, TX poll closings had nothing to do
with C19. But also nothing to do with the DNC.
TX is run by Republicans. They control the governor's office, the state lege, and Sec'y of State, all of which control the elections.
Since a 2013 SupCt decision gutted part of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, some historically discriminatory states like TX have been freed to discriminate again -- the poll closures in the past 7 yrs heavily occur in Latino/AA areas.
The DNC had no role in those decisions, which were clearly intended to benefit the GOP. The DNC and Perez made a huge blunder in the most recent primary state voting by encouraging it to go on despite the C19 danger. The party should have said it would not recognize delegates from states voting on Tues unless they postponed their primaries to May/June. Total failure of leadership. Criminally negligent conduct by Perez et al. He needs to be fired.
As for CA, run by Ds, which also closed small polling places in favor of regional voting centers, my take is that had more to do with non-techie lawyers in gov't being naive, uninformed and easily impressed by alleged new technology that was sold as improving the voting process. I think it's as simple as that.

Last time, a Republican woman who worked at the polls in NYC purged 136,000 Brooklynites of the voting rolls. She got fired for it, but that didn't matter, because previously a Hillary superdelegate had purchased a run-down tenement from her at 3X its market value.
When Hillary was running out of funds in April 2016 (in her official campaign coffers, not her PACs), and had legally maxed out her donors, who opened his donor list to her? Jeb Bush.
Even Trump donated to Hillary's first Senate run. He's a Republican. And I won't even get into Bloomberg.
Back when Rachel Maddow was actually reporting news, she and her show caught Bill Clinton working with Paul Ryan to make sure that nobody thought Medicare cuts might lose them their Congressional seats. (A woman had just won in a district of NY that had never gone for a Democrat. She ran exclusively on preserving Medicare and keeping cuts at bay. She beat the Republican, handily. This distressed people like Bill Clinton and Paul Ryan, who wanted politicians afraid of defending Medicare.)
This idea that the parties are implacable enemies and that they, as it were, maintain closed borders, seems unsupported to me.

The callousness of all this
is just breathtaking. Still I don't know why I am surprised. This from a country that from its very inception did cruel and unusual punishment to others to form a "greater union". How about giving smallpox blankets to the native Americans, for one small example?

That's an extremely popular myth, but
little to no evidence that it was ever actually implemented on any scale that even might have been effective.
The worst known instance of smallpox contagion (the Great Plains epidemic of the late 1830s) turned out, when properly researched, to have been due to nothing more sinister than the usual human greed, short-sightedness and stupidity (one riverboat captain who refused to alter his planned itinerary even after smallpox broke out aboard his boat). There were attempts made to mitigate the situation (including inoculating Native Americans when and where they could be persuaded) - but it was too little too late (except in Canada, where the Hudson's Bay Company got the jump on the disease and their inoculation program was mostly successful).
Footnote: the catch with inoculation (the predecessor to vaccination) was that it dealt with live but (hopefully) attenuated viruses, and there was always the chance that they weren't attenuated enough and would be just as bad as the real thing. (Which is why Edward Jenner's discovery that inoculation with cowpox was effective against smallpox was such a good thing - even if you got full-blown cowpox from the inoculation, it would mess you up but wouldn't kill you. On the other hand this was only helpful where there was a large reservoir of cattle - a situation that did not yet describe the Great Plains.)
