For all those thinking that Bernie or ByeDone has a chance of winning, I say both opinions are correct! The prize will be death from COVID-19.

In the aftermath of campaigning, hand-shaking, hair sniffing, etc., these two OLD warriors will beat an enemy neither can overcome: COVID-19, or as I lovingly call it "virus" (which is easier to type).

According to the experts, including the estimable, no-nonsense Dr. John Campbell who should practice social distancing? People over 60 and elderly people with comorbidities such as diabetes.

Well, well, well. What do we have here? Please pardon the word usage, but some might call me a geezer too. But we have two old geezers going around the country, mingling with crowds. Granted Bernie's crowds are probably at least an order of magnitude than JoJo's, but even ByeDone gets dozens of suckers folks to view his mutterings.

So, what are those suggestions from the medical community? For now, you may ignore the musings of this swamp creature. The experts say, almost uniformly:

Social distancing is the BEST choice for those over 60, especially for those with comorbidities.

1. Bernard Sanders, born in the year Amerika entered WW2. He has advanced age, 78 years. He has coronary atherosclerosis and recent myocardial infarction (MI). For those who may not know, heart muscle does not regenerate. It's like the hair on your head: when it's gone, it's gone. The MI did not do Bernie any conceivable benefit. The coronary artery disease is now evident, although only his cardiologists know the full extent of this.

2. Joseph "where are we?" Biden is almost as old chronologically as the Bern, but ByeDone's brain is turning into Swiss cheese, getting holier by the day. The brain regulates many immune functions. Quite obviously, JoJo isn't "all there".

Go ahead, you two. Shake hands, kiss babies, sniff hair (only JoJo does that). The grim reaper is waiting for you. He may take delivery of both of you within 8 - 12 weeks is my bet.

So, here is an arithmetical equation for you:

3 - 2 = ?

1 you say. Wrong. We are talking about Democrat math.

The one still standing after the premature departure of the septuagenarians, via Charon across the Styx, should be Warrior Tulsi. The only Dem still in the race. Correct? Wrong.

Playing poker with the DNC is a risky proposition. Not only will they deal themselves more cards than you get, but they also take your cards away from you.

Just as the beloved Demokrat Partei has been doing to Tulsi AND Bernie, they will do the following:

1. Find some reasons to rob Tulsi of her already earned delegates

2. Bring a giant Rodent in from off-stage, a rat not so far off-stage that we can't smell her fetid breath even now.

So, this is just another method, accidental perhaps, ensuring that neither Bernie nor JoJo enter 1600 Pennsylvania's elegant White Hotel. This nickname can be traced back to Bubba Bill renting out the Lincoln bedroom, and probably some hot chicks, when he occupied the WH.

Communitarians, fellow caucusers, and lurkers: no political ideology affects the message so portrayed. The virus cares not about political affiliations. And, by the way, no Burmese pythons or other large critters have been harmed during the production of this informative essay.

But contributions to AU's bird sanctuary are always welcome. Especially now that avian flu is making birds fall from the sky, right and left so to speak.
