Trump gets even with Nancy

Oh goody more censorship
Rep. Ro Khanna
@Twitter must take this misleading video about Speaker Pelosi down now.
Social media platforms are a place where people come for news & information.
They need to have certain standards.
Falsity has never been part of our 1st Amendment tradition.
Is she serious?
The delay in reporting the results of the Iowa caucus was blames on “reporting issues” related to an app called Shadow which is owned by Buttigieg supporter Tara McGowan.
However, this didn’t stop Maddow from claiming that 4Channers were to blame for calling Democratic Party phone lines to sow confusion, despite it being acknowledged that this occurred after the problem with the app had been made public.
“Firstly, the caucus was over, and Dems had to call in because their other tech failed,” the Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross noted.
“But even crazier, Maddow compared all of this to the 2002 New Hampshire phone jamming scandal, in which, completely unlike Iowa, GOP operatives robo-called Democrats’ get-out-the-vote call centers *before* a Senate election.”
The MSNBC host made the bizarre claims despite her own colleagues at the network debunking 4chan’s involvement earlier in the day.
We are lucky that she didn't blame it on Russia Russia Russia.

Pelosi Accuses Trump Of Looking "Sedated" At State Of The Union
I have previously written that some Democrats appear to be adopting Trump-like tactics while denouncing Trump for the very same conduct. The trend is spreading with name calling and increasingly outlandish criticisms.
The Democrats will not out-Trump Trump, but they will erase any distinction between them if this trend continues.
That was evident yesterday when Speaker Nancy Pelosi not only expressed pride in shattering decades of tradition in her conduct at the State of the Union, but changing the role of the Speaker at the SOTU from a strictly neutral figure to an openly partisan one — a change that was widely celebrated by Democrats without any self-awareness at the hypocrisy of the position. Pelosi then added an entirely unexplained allegation that the President was drugged or medicated at the address to the two houses. The media again seemed relatively mild in the face of that allegation as well as the unprecedented conduct of Pelosi.
At her press conference (where she was barely challenged on abandonment of long-standing traditions at the State of the Union), Pelosi said that she did not take her action because of the President’s refusal to shake her hand. Instead she said that she extended her hand because she felt sorry for the President:
“It was also an act of kindness because he looked to me like he was a little sedated. He looked that way last year too.”
It was a shocking and disturbing suggestion.
If the Speaker believed that the President was using drugs, she has a duty to address the matter — not intentionally spread rumors or fuel speculation. It raises the abuse of Barry Goldwater by Democrats who spread rumors that he was mentally unstable and being treated for psychological issues.
If Pelosi has evidence supporting this allegation, she should make it public. It is unbecoming to her office and unfair to Trump to use a press conference to spread this rumor and then refuse to answer questions about the basis for the allegation.
Again, the silence of other Democrats in the face of such conduct by the Speaker is deafening. No Democratic member has stepped forward to denounce the Speaker’s demonstration at the SOTU or her obvious effort to spread an allegation that the President is under sedation.

OMG what is Matthews saying here?
..
This is blatant fear mongering and absolute BS? Why didn't anyone tell him to sit down and shut up?
For those who can't watch tweet videos
This is insane!

Matthews is falling apart.
Idolizing a politician is like believing the stripper really likes you.
He's a valuable case study. He can't keep his mouth shut. But
there are probably 10,000 just like him in positions of influence who do their dirty work, lying and cheating the taxpayers in secret. What I didn't appreciate is how defensive they all are about any small change to the system. Which proves that they know that their lifestyle comes at the expense of others, and they are paranoid about the day when those 'others' figure it out en masse and come to collect what they are owed.
On edit: This brings to mind the militarization and brutality of US police, and why the establishment gives them a pass for heinous acts.
Help!
Snoopydawg, can you translate this essay and your first comment into a short summary using plain language without "tweets" so that I can understand what it's about? I'm feeling quite lost. Thanks in advance.
What are you having trouble with?
As to the first comment the second tweet explains what it's about. If you need more explanation see Steven D's essay.

1st and 2nd tweets ...
1. What do the two dots first thing on the page (..) before the Trump tweet signify?
2. Is the Trump tweet objectionable somehow? I don't have sound and video, so I don't know what it's about. Some old soldier? How is that objectionable?
3. Is Ro Khanna the author of the second tweet? What video about Pelosi is he complaining about?
4. Is it the cartoon showing Trump ripping up impeachment that Ro Khanna doesn't like?
Sorry I'm so confused. Must be old age creeping up on me.
The two dots
Are just a way of working around some c99 formatting glitches. The ones that make embedded tweets into long thin unreadable columns of letters.
I’ll let snoop explain the rest.

Sounds like Ro Khanna doesn't understand social media
They're not just places "where people come for news & information" - they're also electronic equivalents of the neighborhood pub and the backyard fence. In other words, places to blather and gossip about everything and everyone.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
True
and he is one more democrat calling for censorship. Another disappointing democrat.
