Is Hillary Clinton a Closet Republican or just a Nasty Person?

Or the third option, is she a completely Irredeemable "C You Next Tuseday?"

I am going with option 2 and 3 with a side of Bitter Vindictive Bitch.

It's bad enough all the lies she made up about Sanders and his supporters but now she's going to do it in a cycle where she's not even in and everyone in "Her" party are focused on removing Donald Trump.

Yet here we are again, with Clinton essentially sabotaging Bernie.

Let that soak in.

What could be her motivations? What would she gain? It's obvious I think that she isn't doing it for Biden, if so I can't imagine she would already have given him her endorsement.

She hasn't, and now it's pretty much over for Biden.

Could she be hoping for Butt to win? If so, then again, why hasn't she given him the Nod?

I cannot think of a single reason why she would be pounding the circuit shitting all over the most likely candidate to make it to the Primary?

I had a deep loathing for her last time, but now it's become borderline visceral hatred.

One thing is for sure, this shows a total lack of care about the party she is supposed to be a part of.

Given her obvious inability to self reflect, could she really possibly believe Sanders cost her the last election despite treating her with kid gloves and then campaigning for her harder than she did for herself?

Regardless of the reason the below is nothing short of Boorish, gross and counter productive to the maximum.

She should be someplace laying under a house while her feet rolling up...

… don't forget her smears and lies directed at Tulsi, for which she is now a defendant in a $50 Mil defamation suit.

Frankly, I don't think she's hoping for Biden or Butty-jizz to win, she's either hoping for Bloomberg or a brokered convention where she gets to parachute in as the savior of the Democratic party without having to put herself on the line in a debate or campaign format.

Of course, I'm hoping that this doesn't happen, cuz it's just gonna be a repeat of 2016.

I am really hoping she loses that one.

Tulsi will have plenty of money to continue running with at home and the fact that it is Clinton money and how much that will piss "Her" off is just icing on the cake.

Maybe that will be what finally takes her out, lol!

It's not new, it's just that everybody is waking up to it at their own pace. Several have written or spoken about it recently.

The Dem establishment literally prefers Trump over Bernie. Trump is allied with them in every scam and con that robs tax payer money from struggling grunts and gives it to billionaires.

So #5 is : She would prefer Trump to Bernie because she doesn't give a shit about average Americans, and she doesn't agree with Bernie's policies to help struggling Americans.

@entrepreneur Well, I think you're entirely correct about the Dem establishment- four more years of Trump would be "business as usual" for them, while a President Sanders might upset a few of their rotten apple carts.

Is water wet?

If the Democrats are trying to lose to Donald Trump in the upcoming election – and there is strong evidence to suggest just that – they are going the right way about it.

From a vote-counting disaster in Iowa to petty politics from Nancy Pelosi during the State of the Union, and then the attempt to impeach the president predictably collapsing; in just a matter of days the Democrats have made Trump look like an adult, presidential and even… innocent.

That’s no small achievement, so ICYMI asks: are they trying to do it on purpose?

Video at link

As to who Bernie should pick for VP I think he has to go with Tulsi. Jimmy and crew destroy Nancy's antics at the SotU, but they talk about Bernie's foreign policy head at the end of it. Bernie has called Maduro not the legitimate president of Venezuela and I have always thought that he was weak on FP. We need to do better. We want better and Bernie knows that we can't afford the ever increasing military budget and do his MFA and other policies. Tulsi might be able to sway him.

1) She lives in a bubble and is comfortable only in that bubble. This explains why she spent so much time during the 2016 election run-up rotating between Marin County California, Silicon Valley, Beverly Hills (well, rich people's southern California -- San Marino and so on), the Hamptons, and Connecticut.

2) She felt, and no doubt feels, entitled to the Presidency. I think that's where all of your negative characterizations of her come from. She did her due diligence in the Senate and as Secretary of State, she raised twice the money that Donald Trump did, and she knows all the Important People, so by golly it should be hers for the taking. This entitlement substituted, and substitutes, for a legitimate reason for why HRC should actually have the Presidency for herself. (Side note: please try to avoid use of the word "bitch" -- you look more objective without it.)

3) Her daddy was a John Birch Society member. She prefers to hang out with Republicans; she attended their prayer breakfasts when she was First Lady. The Right are "her peeps."

4) Her policy options were more or less all odious ones, except that now and then she could be coerced in favor of a Senate vote to study why puppy dogs were cute or something like that. As Secretary of State she seemed in a great rush to screw up other countries, so for instance Syria, Libya, Honduras, Haiti, and the Ukraine were places where she did not win popularity contests.

5) She will say anything to please anyone.

Yes the Hillary Rotten Clinton the wicked witch and bitter bitch is trying to sabotage Bernie. She did it before and will do it again. She sabotaged the DNC by leaving it 6-7 MILLION in debt. Is that what a REAL dem does? It is what Obama did too.

If Bernie wins any plausible deniability she has that Trump is HER-> fault evaporates. Nothing would make her look worse. Nothing would make it more obvious Bernie would have WON.

Bob In Portland's picture

This was puff piece in the NY Times at the beginning of 2008 campaign, trying to humanize her. If her decision to join an "anti-war campaign" after being a Goldwater Girl was upsetting to her Bircher family, there is no mention of it that I've ever come across.

Nothing in her subsequent actions points to her being against war generally and I've never seen anything about her publicly opposing Vietnam, although I can't swear she never did. After all, lying seems natural to her. She joined the McCarthy campaign which was presented as anti-war. McCarthy jumped into the campaign before RFK, the other anti-war candidate, did. McCarthy's campaign, as has subsequently been discovered, was littered with CIA people, apparently not to get him elected but to make sure RFK didn't get any traction. Kennedy had said that if he got into the White House he would reopen the investigation into the assassination, so you know why they put their money on McCarthy.

Another thing was happening in 1968. Campuses were welcoming Vietnam vets. A lot were angry but some were still working for the government, as the eyes and ears of the government. COINTELPRO and other operations were targeting anti-war, black power and other groups. Writer Daniel Brandt noticed it:

In 1969 everything suddenly changed. Major anti-war organizing efforts appeared on campus, coordinated through national networks. I guessed that these new activists, who seemed to come out of nowhere to organize the Vietnam Moratorium, were former McCarthy-Kennedy campaign workers. Although I had been co-chairman of our SDS chapter the previous year, these were all new faces to me. I was astounded and a little suspicious. Everything had turned around completely: now no student politician could hope to win without the long hair, the beads and sandals, and speaking at freshmen orientation by abandoning the lectern and sitting on the edge of the stage, "rapping" to them movement-style.

Hillary, from campaigning for McCarthy then went to the Republican National Convention. No, she wasn't protesting in the streets against the war. She stayed at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach. What say you? If she were truly anti-war why go to witness Nixon's coronation?

That summer she interned in Congress for the Republicans in the House and wrote a speech for Melvin Laird about Vietnam. Melvin Laird, six months from that speech, would become Nixon's Secretary of Defense and was around when the US began carpetbombing Vietnam in earnest. I've never tracked down that speech but I don't suppose that it was a call to end the war.

Meanwhile, her future husband was in Britain on his Fulbright. His classmates thought he was CIA. Going to peace movements would have given him the opportunity to observe and report. And it kept him out of Vietnam.

According to the myth Bill and Hillary met a few years later. If so it would have been long after they'd been working for the Agency separately by then, so the story about Bill being smitten by Hillary from across the Yale cafeteria was just part of the legend. In law school Hillary took up an interest in the Black Panthers. She dutifully followed a trial of a Panther in New Haven. She spent one summer interning at the legal office that represented the Black Panthers on the West Coast. Was she spying?

Her next appearance in the public eye was working on the staff of the Democratic Party in the Nixon impeachment, a great place to be if you were to gather information for Langley on what the Dems knew or didn't know.

By the eighties Bill Clinton was governor of Arkansas, and ignoring what was happening in Mena while writing a get-out-of-jail letter for Barry Seal just in case he was detained by police. (Seal, who knew way too much about way too many CIA operations made the mistake of calling then Vice President George H.W. Bush, apparently to show off for a friend, and soon was found shot dead.)

If you look at the accomplishments of the Clinton Administration, a ramp up of the drug war after helping to bring in those tons and tons of cocaine, the arming of US police forces with surplus military supplies, creating the conditions for absolute control of the media in the hands of the oligarchy, deregulation of Wall Street. The most effective Republican President ever. Meanwhile, Hillary wrote about "taking a village" blah blah blah.

This was the time that the Democratic Party began looking like the Republican Party. The war in Yugoslavia was essentially a repeat of the Nazis' WWII strategy of dividing up the country into various ethnic divisions. Our allies were headed by actual Nazi collaborators in Croatia and Bosnia.

Another CIA job was taken over by the Democrats. The Covert Action Information Bulletin #35 of Fall 1990 is devoted to the CIA's use of NED and other means to insert right-wing and (like in Yugoslavia) actual fascists into Eastern Europe immediately after the fall of the Soviet Union. With the Clintons in the White House these duties moved over to the Democratic infrastructure.

So is Hillary Clinton, whose Russiagate shenanigans have CIA fingerprints all over them, CIA? You bet.

The CIA is America's secret police overseas, an international Pinkertons. It used to be rational to mistrust the CIA. No more. They are the cornerstone in our national security, and most of those grim-faced bastards telling you that Ukraine is the most important lynchpin for our safety is just another big lie. Thank the Clintons for what is happening around you.

I saw a tweet of the senate report on how Obama dropped the ball on letting Russia interfere with the election and it showed how Brennan cooked it up. CIA Brennan. But poor Obama he got rolled by McConnell who wouldn't let him warn us of them doing it. Geez who was the most powerful person in the world at the time? McConnell? Barry sure hid behind him a lot.

like an entitle Clinton denied their birthright. She is rich and doesn't have to worry about the struggles of every day Americans. Trump's policies won't personally harm her. I don't think she wants anyone to defeat Trump. Beating him would make her look bad, especially if the victor is Bernie Sanders, the candidate she ridiculed in 2016.
