Tulsi, Bernie, Buttigieg, and Biden--Post Iowa

So, after the shambles that was the Iowa caucus, it seems the first real measure of things will end up being the New Hampshire primary, which takes place on Feb. 11.

Right now, Bernie is far out in front in all NH polls over the past few days--sometimes by as much as 12 points.

Biden, who was in second place until yesterday in NH polls, now seems to have fallen to tied for second or even third place as Buttigieg surges since Iowa. It is clear now to me that Buttigieg is the chosen one for the establishment.

Tulsi continues to campaign in NH to build up her base there. She has been polling in the 5%-8% range in most polls from that state over the past couple of weeks. Here's hoping that people become disgusted with Buttigieg's Iowa manipulations and encourage support of ethical candidates like Tulsi.

Tulsi somehow had the vast intelligence to not campaign in Iowa, and now she looks the better for it. She had nothing to do with that shitshow. That Shadow mobile phone application was also supposed to be used in Nevada, but the Nevada democratic party has now abandoned it (thankfully). Tulsi didn't campaign much there, either.

With Biden's really poor showing in Iowa, his probably 3rd or 4th-place finish in NH, and probable loss in Nevada--with Buttigieg overtaking him in the first two states--it's unclear now what will happen in South Carolina and other southern states where Biden was polling at the top.

Bernie has been surging a bit in SC, the last poll there coming within 5 points of Biden (Biden 25% to Sanders 20%). Sanders is consistently a second place to Biden in southern states. With Buttigieg's rise to the top of the establishment ticket--and in southern states that obviously do not like Buttigieg--will this dynamic allow Bernie to become the leader in some of the southern states? I think it is possible.

The SC primary will be key here. Sanders has been on the rise there, and if Buttigieg completely overshadows Biden in the first few contests, will Biden lose SC to Bernie as establishment votes somewhat shift from Biden to Buttigieg?

We will see . . .

What you got is three CFR-groomed candidates and one Bernie Sanders.

I don't see any way for the status quo to lose. Do you?

Sanders' choices, like Trump's, will be frozen in nice warm amber. The People will continue on their same precise trajectory to the bottom. They are, after all, disposable.

This is just a different way of seeing and understanding how your Overlords actually operate.

The first Black President, the First Gay President, the First Woman President — these are vehicles designed to crush the Left via the Democratic Party. You will vote for every one of them and feel good about it. There will be no first "Left" President in the US. There has never even been an enduring Left movement in the US. As long as the 'Left' continues to be affiliated with the Democratic Party, they are nothing more than tools that are used to grease the skids.

Ask the rest of the world. They will tell you the truth.

Why not experience just one Presidential election with your eyes wide open?

Tomorrow, I will return to care-giving. The US is no place for truth-tellers, either.

The incumbents were unopposed in the primary. In fall they were also unopposed. The Republicans didn't bother to run candidates. Very very Soviet, particularly with widespread dissatisfaction with most of the incumbents. But sure you have a choice, just write someone in. Oh, wait. Illinois law doesn't recognize unregistered write-ins.

A third party candidacy will not defeat Trump.

We only have a short window of opportunity left to at least combat climate catastrophe.

Biden came in fourth in Iowa.

Warren in third behind Pete the Cheat.

Pete the Cheat ain't going nowhere after Iowa.

Bernie won almost half of the POC vote in Iowa. Nobody else came close.

Bernie got 30% of the vote in Iowa, which is what many of us were hopefully projecting.

Bernie's lookin' good for New Hampshire and got a bump from Iowa:

Emerson poll through February 4: 32%
Emerson poll through February 2: 29%

Bernie is projected by 538 to win with 51%.

He is forecasted to win an average of 10 pledged delegates out of a possible 16.

@Wally If Sanders doesn't win the Primary I likely will not vote for the DNC anointed candidate.

Getting rid of Trump isn't a be all end all goal for me, it's too short term thinking.

We have to work on either destroying the corruption within the DNC rather than vote for it or we need to build a viable third party.

As far as global warming goes, I doubt that a Democratic Corpricrat will do anything and at least with Trump in office they will hold a microscope on him unlike if they have a democrat in there.

I'd vote for Trump before Buttguy or the corrupt Biden syndicate I think.

@Pluto's Republic As far as what I have heard, Buttigieg is not a member of the CFR. However, there is every reason to believe that he is definitely tied to the deep state, most likely the CIA. Tulsi is or was a member of the CFR. She answered a question about her membership in a video made earlier this year.

[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PUKSfjdL7g]

While being a member of the CFR could be a cause for concern, I have found nothing in her policy stands to make be believe that she is somehow a shadowy figure whose candidacy is designed to sheepdog us into the war machine. I prefer to look at her policies and her history to make a better determination about her values. If she was some sort of CFR plant, why is the establishment working so hard to destroy her?

I would counter any criticism of her membership in the CFR as her attempt to infiltrate and determine who supports her agenda, who could be swayed to her agenda, and who is totally against her.
Essentially, a mole.
She qualified for membership. She was eligible for membership.
She was invited to join.
This is how you put together a Cabinet and/or and administration.

It is clear now to me that Buttigieg is the chosen one for the establishment.

Maybe, he does have lots of big money donors.

But, I think he is in the race mainly to help ensure that Bernie does not win on the first ballot.

I expect that he will give way to Bloomberg and his wallet. As will the establishment democrats. That is their purpose -- to serve the ultra rich.

Then we can have a Godzilla v. Mothra, oligarch v. oligarch, Presidential contest with a guaranteed oligarch winner as America so richly deserves.

“When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.” — Frédéric Bastiat, French Economist

The real breaking news headline out of the Iowa Caucuses that had to be doled out over multiple days in measured bites of data is that Senator Bernie Sanders, who has promised to stop Wall Street’s plunder of the nation’s wealth, is leading the popular vote in the state.

Despite mainstream media and cable news’ efforts to spin the long-delayed Iowa vote data as a big win for 38-year old Pete Buttigieg, whose name most Americans can’t spell or pronounce, the real too hot to handle news is that folks in the Heartland of America have rejected the centrist-establishment-Wall Street agenda of former Vice President Joe Biden and have warmly embraced Senator Bernie Sanders’ promised political revolution. Biden currently ranks a distant fourth in the vote tallies with 71.44 percent of the vote reported.

he's today's choice. He's not going to get any traction with non-whites, and they can't make that happen. He's over after New Hampshire. Remember, he isn't running for President, he's running for Governor of Indiana and just raising money to roll into that race in two years.
Buttigieg may well come in second in NH. Certainly Biden won't.
I can't find the story now, it's already been buried. Apparently someone is making noise about Republicans in SC voting in the Democratic primary for Sanders, on the theory that he'll be easier to beat. I don't know that these sorts of efforts ever work, but don't be surprised if Sanders gets a couple percentage points from something like that. It might be enough to push him over the top. If SC voters don't see Biden as viable, and won't hold their noses to vote for Buttigieg, where are they going to go? Maybe to the guy who is winning?

You think they will allow the Left to prevail? Bernie is all there is of the authentic Left. And Bernie is only one (absolutely believable and unquestionable) heart attack away from putting the Left attempt to win the Presidency down for good.

Someone like Buttigieg has to be there to pick up the pieces and get out the [buy-in] vote that maintains the delusion. Someone has to lose to Trump. Everyone else has lost their cover.

In the end, the people will shrug and say, "At least we have a democracy."

...Bernie is the only candidate that represents the full set of values of the authentic Left. His instincts are forged by the Left.

All the candidates are compromised.

The American People have made a list of their political priorities. Some of their priorities are related to delusions that come from their brainwashing, such as fear of Russia or ISIS attacking them. But most of their priorities are real and relevant to their lives. They come from their human experiences.

Their number one priority is Health Care. Fear of not being able to pay for it. Fear that health care will be withheld from them or their loved ones, resulting in suffering and death. They have good reason for their fears.

Only one candidate on the stage is authentically addressing their Number One Priority. Bernie Sanders. The rest who have put forth health care solutions are pushing bait and switch schemes, which will continue to sentence a swathe of American people to death from medical neglect, even after they are elected. Yes, Tulsi is an exception in that she continues to support Bernie's plan.

We all know that the people will not receive their Number One Priority in 2021. We know that 50,000 of them will die next year because of medical neglect. We call withholding a human right, like health care, a "Democracy." As if the majority of people voted for that.

Bernie is the only candidate who is offering a health care solution that is packaged as a human right for everyone, as it is in the decent nations of the world. He is the only one who will make it his first priority.

After Bernie, there is no one left.

Huge groan. Thanks democrats and Mueller for giving us this propaganda sh*t show! Mueller found Trump not not guilty. How does one defend against that?

@Wally @Pluto's Republic
delegates happens at the convention.
All they need to do is keep Sanders from winning on the first ballot. That means keeping him below 50% of delegates in every race.
There doesn't need to be a single candidate who does that. There's unlimited money to prop up multiple candidates. They don't have a single candidate that can win everywhere. Buttigieg gets a couple of states, raises his political profile, rolls $25 million into the governor's race to overwhelm the Republican candidate. It's a solid deal for him. He's a young man, he has lots of races ahead of him.
In races where money will buy results they have Bloomberg.
Steyer is at 18% in SC, I think. If Biden's campaign collapses (and I think it is), they may be counting on Steyer to pick up the pieces in SC.
When they get to the convention Sanders falls short of 50%+1. It goes to the second ballot, candidates release their delegates, super delegates vote, and that's where the deal is struck. Maybe it's Bloomberg. Maybe it's Clinton. Maybe it's Buttigieg, even though he suspended his campaign after NH. It's whoever they can cut the best deal with.

running for president because Bernie is now a millionaire after his book sales. Doh!!! How can anyone think that a person who used to be a republican, but is now running as democrat be the best person to beat Trump? Especially since he isn't even on the ballots in many states?

The jumps people have to jump through to decide on who they support is beyond mind bobbling and it's just because they think Trump is deviating from what other presidents did. There's a diary on the wreck list about how many people have been killed after they were sent back to their country instead of being granted asylum. ****Most of the numbers come from when Obama was president!***

"In researching this report, we identified or investigated 138 cases of Salvadorans killed since 2013 after deportation from the U.S.," the report reads.

"The United States has to have known this was happening because the cases were publicly reported and more importantly because Salvadorans make it clear in asylum applications that this is their reality," said Kennedy. "But this reality is ignored or not believed by U.S. authorities."

Yes Trump is a horrific president and person and I would love to see him lose the next election. However the things he is doing does not erase the things that Obama and Clinton did in regards to our social policies and especially the domestic ones that hurt working people, minorities and the poor and disabled. How people can honestly say that Obama was the best president of their lifetimes with the things that he did and more importantly did not do with prosecuting the war and financial criminals and sitting back while wealth inequality skyrocket-ted is beyond me.
