I am so tired to donate money to politicians, which I did a lot.
So, that's the end of it
NOW I think we should help JtC and Joe Shikspack's work at C99p a little bit.
Donate at least to the truth-tellers and thruth-diggers and thruth-mocking EB-C99p-ers. They deserve it more than ever.
I can't stand to get one more email to please, please, please, plesae donate to me, me, ne and more me's. (Except for Tulsi and Bernie, but the buck stops after them). Since when do we have money? We 99percenters? If you have enough money, you are not one of us. We are the poorer folks, not you faux elite democrats and other creatures.
I am frigging tired of all that money shit.
So donate to C99p. I am out of most of my peanuts. They steal them here in Germany as well, if not more, than over at your side of the pond. I can't believe what has become out my home country, which I left end of the seventies. I am thoroughly disgusted. The good ol' myths are not any more valid.
And while I am at it with ranting, can you tell that Tesla guy stay out of Germany, we don't need his frigging e-cars and whatever else he wants to construct here in Berlin's backyard. We need him out of here. But poor Germans fear they lose jobs. Dummies. They should do the work themselves.
And help us to get our cowardly buck-licking pols over here to take a hike and get lost.
So, now I go to bed and I cry myself to sleep.
Good Afternoon.

c99p is where I make my
donation. I haven't donated to any politicians this go-round. I'll see how I feel in the GE. In the meantime, JtC and all you folks will continue to receive my monthly donation and we can continue to have an ad-free place to be.
Good job, mimi!
"The “jumpers” reminded us that one day we will all face only one choice and that is how we will die, not how we will live." Chris Hedges on 9/11
I make monthly donations to a couple of news sites
and have made donations to Sanders and Gabbard. I don|'t remember anymore since when. It used to be easier when I was still working and in the US. It became a little harder since I am in Germany, don|t work anymore, lost benefits after the death of my former husband etc. etc.
In any case, a lot of writers have left the site due to various reasons, most of them I don't know other than those who died. I miss many of them and at the same time forget why and where they left to. I wished they would login now and then and say hi and chat a little bit about what they are doing. Many of you may know. Oh well.
I feel sometimes like even JtC needs to cling to his rescue piece of wood. I guess that's just my imagination.
Where are your bucks?

I too
donate to Sanders and Gabbard, but no one else. I do send the prepaid postage envelopes back empty or with a terse message.
Around the first of January I send small ($25-$50) checks to various organizations (Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Oregon Public Broadcasting, etc.) and the sit back and wait two or three months to see who sends me renewal notices. Then cut them off the next year.
I find that behaviour despicable. If I give them a membership check I presume it is for an entire year. Those organizations who don't send me renewal notices prematurely will get a bump the next January.
As far as Musk is concerned, he is building a gigafactory somewhere in Europe and will employ many people. And unlike Amazon he is known for paying fair wages.
Then too, Tesla is the only car company marketing affordable all electric vehicles in multible models including semi trucks and the much awaited (by me anyway) Cybertruck.
And who else is building reusable rockets to deliver payloads into orbit and landing those rockets on a barge bobbing up and down in the ocean?
Who else is building enormous battery banks to store power from solar and wind farms?
Who else is marketing roofing tiles that double as solar panels?
Who else is building state of the art underground hi-speed transit systems?
Musk seems the ideal American success story. Yes, he has borrowed government money, but he has paid it back, with $23 million in interest.
I just don't understand why people hate him so much. And yes, it definately is HATE.
Help me out Mimi. Why?
I really need to understand. Am I missing something?
Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.
Musk
I only speak for myself
I understand that people let themselves bribe by job promises. But I don't like it, even if well paid.
We need in no way more cars in Germany. We are suffocating in cars. This is not the US where the country is huge and wide and nobody can survive without a car. Your highways are four to six lanes and seldom totally gridlocked day in and day out. We definitely don't need more cars, environmentally it is a desaster. Of course I prefer e-cars over other cars. But all in all I want less cars on our streets.
Basically, if we really need all that, and if we really can't live without it, it should be Germans of German companies building these things by themselves.
Yes you are missing something. Most people in most countries of the world have a sense of dignity, patriotic pride and want to be independent, sovereing nations, at least emotionally they want that.
I don't hate Musk, I dislike his business projects and his demeanour. He is free to do all that in his own country. May be a bit more humble, less self-assured and simply more human and not trying to compete with Gods in the sky...
And with regards to the reasons of why Tesla wants to build that factory in Germany please refer to my comment on the EB of 11/12(2019.
Ok, that was a bit over the top, but my emotional intelligence has just a high IQ and sometimes works in overdrive.
Nothing for Ungood.

Anyone here who could make a contribution
of any size, once, monthly, I don't think anyone would turn it down.
Is $5.00, or more, worth the enlightenment from reading the posts here?
Ten cents for the eb's? Another $2.00 for not being censored and harassed?
That would be a better investment in your education and personal journey than a political campaign contribution.
This site is real.
Politicians...not so much.
"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." ---- William Casey, CIA Director, 1981
Me too. Only donation our household makes to a
voluntary contribution. It's not a lot but hopefully more will add to their auto payments so there is a monthly, dependable base of financial support.
Can't thank everyone enough for thoughtful, funny, personal, in depth explorations of specific topics. OTs, Photo threads, now Headline requests for photos. Terrific stuff.
Can't thank Joe enough for introducing The Hill Rising: I look for every segment now each day. Watch Crystal's dress or Saagar's tie to help find the ones for today.
Also many other sites we would never have heard of and useful comments on competence of various sources. If we were doing this on our own, would never be able to find them all or decide if they are worth our time. Site sourcing!
Thanks everyone. Thanks Mimi for starting this.
