January 6, 2017 is when Brennan wrote the IC report that was headlined Russia interfered with the election. In the report he states that he had high confidence and beliefs that Russia did the deed. No evidence was included in it, but people took it as truth. Swan Mueller used the report in his report as absolute evidence that Russia was guilty and again offered no proof of them hacking the DNC computers. But let's get back to Rachel's knowing that it was unverified and that the IC was using it to pressure Trump to stay in line.

Engel: It is very, very strange and there have been allegations of Russian documenting the bad things Russia has on him and they have evidence to back it up. He feel victim to a Russian trap. They are just waiting to either use it or use it to blackmail him. I have been hearing these rumors for a very long time. I haven't been able to prove any of it. And other reporters have been trying also, but no one has been able to prove any of it. I called other sources and told them that they have these files and tapes that if true would be incredibly compromising. So far i haven't been able to find anything.

SO why would the IC then today boil it down to 2 pages and drop it like a bomb on Trump and on the president's himself lap. I was told they did it because the IC are angry and want to put him on notice. You are saying all these things about Russia, are any of them true? We can't help you Mr. Trump, we need you tell us more and these allegations just in themselves could become a distraction and make it hard for him to govern.

Engel wasn't brought back very often to report on the Russia Gate crap after Rachel took the country down the RG rabbit hole insanity. She might want to have him on after Horowitz just told us that the FBI rigged their investigation into Trump. You'd think, but of course she doesn't want to tell people that she had been lying to them from the beginning.

That Horowitz said the FBI committed 17 errors to get the FISA warrants on Page and others in Trump's campaign should be as big a story as the Wa Poo telling us that 3 administrations have been lying to us about the Afghanistan war. Should be. Isn't. And we know why.

Durham has opened a criminal investigation into the origins of the FBI's investigation into Trumps' campaign and I am seeing lots of people trying to derail the results that might come out. (DK link, but Sumner has been doing this) Gaslighting is going on big time. People are just saying that Barr is trying to cover for Trump and to say that it wasn't Russia that interfered with the election, but Ukraine that did. People in Ukraine did work with the DNC, Hillary's campaign and the FBI there to dig up dirt on Trump and people in his campaign. Manafort being the biggest fish that got fried. Ah but wasn't the information that came out on him fruit from the poisonous tree? Yes he did do the things he was found guilty of doing, but was the investigation into him above board? I think not and that he would have a great case to appeal his verdict. The silly thing is that the Obama administration knew all those things in 2014, but closed it and just sat on it in case they needed it down the road. And that little black book that was conveniently found in Ukraine? No verification that it was his handwriting. Oh well... never mind, we got him. Right?

I am all for law and order, but only if it is down according to the law. Same with Trump's impeachment. Great that he was impeached, but bummer for not the real crimes he has committed and that it won't change and damn thing about what he will do going forward. Of course not. Both parties want what he is doing.
