Someone forgot to blame Russia

Russia is behind everything bad in the world. They are under every bed, behind every bush.
So it was a huge oversight when a coup happened in Bolivia and no one blamed Russia.

Speaking at the Paris Peace Forum, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said with a twinge of sarcasm Tuesday that his country had become accustomed to accusations linking it to scenes of disorder across the globe...
"Recently, we were mentioned as the ones who meddled with the situation in Chile—that's why the APEC summit was cancelled—and I was wondering why we are not mentioned in relation to the developments in Iraq, Lebanon, and now in Bolivia," Lavrov said, according to the state-run Tass Russian News Agency. "Somehow we haven't been accused of the coup in Bolivia, and this is strange. So something is happening in the minds of those who normally create the geopolitical agenda."

This is an embarrassment. Who was in charge of blaming Russia? Obviously someone failed at their job.
Fortunately Senator Rubio stepped up.

In a tweet Tuesday, Rubio blamed not only Russia for disseminating a false narrative regarding the events in Bolivia, but held U.S. media outlets responsible for allegedly running with it.

"Those interested in how Putin uses disinformation as tool of foreign policy should study current coverage of #Bolivia 1. They create fake news 2. They spread it via vast network of outlets & social media actors 3. Disinformation gets echoed in mainstream media," Rubio tweeted Tuesday

Right. I'm a little confused what exactly Russia did wrong, but it gives me a warm feeling to know who to blame for it.

It's so important to make sure that Russia gets blamed for everything, and whoever should be doing that is as shit at their job as Epstein's prison guards.

ahead of tomorrow’s public hearings, there are two additional questions worth exploring, especially after Monday’s release of three more transcripts of depositions.

One: Why was Trump and his administration pursuing a strategy on Ukraine that aligned with Russia’s interests — and against the United States’ expressed national interests?

And two: Why aren’t House Democrats trying to connect the Russian dots? (Is it a hangover after Mueller?)

Good question. Could Schiff and Pelosi be under the Kremlin's control?
How will we know unless we make baseless accusations first?

This is good for Moscow

The Ukrainian military and Russia-backed separatist rebels have completed a pullback of troops and weapons from an area in eastern Ukraine embroiled in a conflict that has killed more than 13,000 people, officials said Monday.
...
The disengagement of forces in eastern Ukraine was seen as a key step to pave the way for a summit of Russia, Ukraine, France and Germany on ending the conflict.

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed plans for holding the summit with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in a phone call Monday, according to the Kremlin.

Peace breaking out would help Putin with those EU sanctions.
Therefore peace in Ukraine is our enemy and must be stopped. Ukraine cannot be allowed to stop sending their men to die.

The coup is a spontaneous development of the people. HAH! The right wing fundamentalist operatives ( CIA and OAS backed) are truly legit. SMH!

JUST IN: DOJ, DOD, DHS, DNI, FBI, NSA, and CISA release joint statement on 2020 election security, warning, "Russia, China, Iran, and other foreign malicious actors all will seek to interfere in the voting process or influence voter perceptions."

The US could teach them a thing or three about meddling in other countries. No need to interfere with the voting process when your OAS lackeys will just declare it fraudulent. And the perceptions of voters matter not a whit when the hounds of hell you're helping to unleash will shortly keep them too busy trying to survive to worry about such mundane matters.

So where is the DOJ, DHS, etc when it comes to uncovering Americans cheating each other? We saw just recently mass voter suppression in a number of states in 2018 election. Will it be stopped by the nation's national enforcement agencies?

Russiagate has evolved from the original claims that voting machines were hacked to now claims of disinformation and sowing discord. Claims of Russians getting into voting machines will not look good to federal officials who supposedly had the time to stop it, and I doubt if state officials will put up with being thrown under the bus like they were last time.

Unfortunately I think even after Hillary was smacked down, the Russiagate hysteria will continue as it has become a permanent political tick with the media and democrats.

Good stuff GJ. I did see some allegations attempting to blame the fires in the Amazon on Evo Morales. Saying it was Bolivia's = Morales' fault. So maybe they missed Russia on this one, but it is still early. Meanwhile maybe some of blaming him for the fires instead of Bolsanaro where the blame really belongs will stick?
