This should put the kobosh in Warren saying she is a progressive

If she really cared about the policies she is running on she would have endorsed Bernie. Period. It was during the primary that Hillary said, "single payer will never ever happen here." Bernie was running on it and yet Warren did not endorse him for it. If she actually wants to help us she would drop out and tell people to vote for Bernie. Sure everyone has the right to run for president, but we know or believe that she is only running to keep Bernie from becoming president. She is lying to us about not taking money from rich people and corporations because she took their money for her senate campaign and transferred it to her presidential campaign. If she isn't up front about this then how can we trust her on anything else?

The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

I just don't know what to say about Warren, other than she has given "progressive" a bad name.
I once really respected her.
I have since gotten a good dose of "woke".

@snoopydawg to the fainting couches!

I would love to know what Vladimir Putin really thinks of all of this. Is he enjoying the attention? Does he hate it? Like in the evening, after dinner, is he on Facebook and sees that his mom shared another post from Sherri-Lynne in Bunter, Ohio about her son Vladimir Putin fucking up elections, and posting "that's my boy!" and tagging his grandmother? And he rubs his temples and says aloud "these people are insane." I wonder if he ever imagined what centrality he would have in America.

...release the Bloomberg!

A lot of Elizabeth Warren's support confuses me. The faction of "she's just like Bernie!" can't seem to answer "then why vote for her?" Then there are the supporters who see:

Bernie: mean!
Liz: nice!

...and I actually see:

Bernie: tough
Liz: weak as hell

I want the next POTUS to be unleashing hell and setting fire to the GOP and the corporate DNC (actual fire okay too), not a mealy-mouthed dial tone who doesn't have what it takes to build a movement.

Not sure if anyone else is following him on Twitter, but former Clinton and Kerry strategist Peter Daou is now a Bernie Sanders supporter. He was recently talking about how he was won over: he is looking for systemic and transformational change, and that the people who were pushing incrementalism and "it can't be done" should be waved goodbye to and over. So he's now on the #NotMeUs train and I am really impressed by the shift.

This is what I have seen many people saying for why they support her over him. "She is basically offering the same things so why not go with her?" But as I said above, if she actually was the same as Bernie she would have endorsed him and allowed him to run with her backing him.

@snoopydawg are even bigger duds and dead ends than the first group. Eric Holder is being floated? Who even remembers him? I can't believe I live on a planet on which Eric Holder is seen as a viable candidate.

@Le Frog

Mr. Law and Order is rumored to be entering the race for president. Someone actually predicted that this would happen if ByeDone went bye bye. Who remembers him? I do. Remember that Holder thought the banks were too big to jail and even though they plead guilty to criminal charges they only had to pay fines for them. No biggie that 9 million people lost their homes while the banks continued to commit fraud and Obama and Eric looked the other way.

Here is a touch of Eric's judgment on the Trump administration, Barbara and George Bush and when he downplayed the significance of financial misconduct, suggesting that law enforcement agencies have more important things to deal with.

OMG..hubris much, Eric?

“There’s a lot of crime that happens I think generally that doesn’t get reported ― people are stealing things out of grocery stores, people are doing things in banks that they shouldn’t be doing,” Holder said. “But when it comes to the things that are truly consequential that are truly important, I think that law enforcement ... generally holds people to account.”

I found this video in this article about how people from the Obama administration were cashing in on Trump's presidency as well as other positions. Of course that was after Obama closed the revolving door between government and lobbyist and other companies that deal with the government. Even in the detention centers where Trump was parking lots of immigrants and giving the owners bukoo bucks.

Democrats have the one candidate that could beat Trump by larger margins than what is being reported in my opinion. Bernie would bring out the Obama voters who stayed home after his presidency only helped the one percent. More people stayed home than voted for either candidate. But of course they don't want Bernie to win. He might actually end up giving us the things we need. The democrats can't have that. Their donors would be bigly ticked off.

Welcome to the We Tortured Some Folks School of Minimization, where you too can learn to master the deceptive art of manipulative psychological abuse!

We did torture some folks and according to the guy who scanned every page of the torture memos it was much worse than we were led to believe. There is a video coming out soon about the torture report and it's findings. I don't remember where I read that and saw the trailer, but if I find it again I will post it.

Remember that the CIA broke into congress' computer files to see what was there and no one was held accountable for it. DiFi made a big deal of looking outraged, but.... yeah, we tortured some folks. The thing is that we still are.

Let the dirtballs scatter the vote. The more the merrier. Bernie's support remains SOLID and will grow and then we can reconnoiter again come Super Tuesday.

The “Yes, we can change the party from the inside!” wishful thinking folks have no plan B, no viable third party, no invincible super hero.

Or . . .

The “No, we can't change the party from the inside!” wishful thinking folks have no plan, no viable third party, nobody who can even get 5% of the vote.

Or . . .

We know the odds and the money are against us but what viable even half-way decent alternative do we have to Bernie who at least has garnered a historically large critical mass of progressive activists essentially (even if not completely) sharing his vision for the future -- especially given the short span of time we have to begin to initiate a concerted attempt to stave off climate catastrophe,

Everybody gets to decide which option to select and act upon.
