Get ready for $100 oil?
U.S. sanctions have taken hundreds of thousands of barrels of Iranian and Venezuelan oil off the market.
The only reason prices haven't skyrocketed is increased U.S. and Saudi production.
Now this happened.

Yemen's Houthi rebels have attacked Saudi Arabia's oil facilities with drones, the Houthi-run Al-Masirah news agency said Saturday.
A Yemen armed forces spokesman was quoted by the agency as saying the Houthis successfully carried out a "large-scale" operation with 10 drones targeting Saudi Aramco oil facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais.
...
"We promise the Saudi regime that the next operation will be wider and more painful if the blockade and aggression continues," the spokesman added.
The Saudi-led coalition battling the Houthi rebels said in a statement it's investigating the attacks and would confront "terrorist" threats to global energy security.
One of the facilities, at Abqaiq, is the company's largest oil-processing facility and the largest crude oil stabilization plant in the world, according to the oil company, Aramco.Saudi Arabia produces approximately 10% of the total global supply of 100 million barrels per day.
People with knowledge of Saudi's oil operations told CNN that capacity at Aramco's oil facilities is "down at this stage by 5 million barrels a day," meaning 5% of the daily global oil is affected.
If the Houthis can do it once then they can do it again.
Supply loss from KSA may be as high as 150 MM barrels/month. Oil may hit $100.

Compensated Spokes Model for Big Poor.
Smart move, Pompeo
Blame it on Iran and get Israel to start the war off and then we can finally have our last Middle East war and then the price of oil will shoot up tp $200 barrel. This can get the recession ball rolling too. Two birds with one stone. Yippee. Oh yeah..just ignore the fact that China and Russia might come to Iran's defense which could then start our last WW too. Beats having to deal with climate change right?
How true is this
Scientists are concerned that conspiracy theories may die out if they keep coming true at the current alarming rate.
It just got real
Hundreds of thousands of dead Yemeni civilians because MBS and the US thought they could march into Yemen and control it.
Yawn.
Houthis hit Saudi oil...
OHMYGODTHEWORLDISGOINGTOEND
'Saudi oil' > 'Yemen civilian life' in the eyes of the U.S.
Might As Well. Food and Clean Water Are Going to Be Hot
commodities in the near future as well, methinks...
Lots of profits in the misery of the masses. Question is: will they gain marketshare this time like all the others? I'm not so sure of that this time around - when reality laps satire and irony, the paradigm is toast - globally, the paradigm is toast.
Of course we might just sleepwalk into it, NPC style - going along to get along.

Thanks for this coverage gjohnsit,
MoA has a good piece up about it too... here
In other news, my sources tell me that a US frigate is docked in Beirut, and that US officials are having an urgent meeting with every faction in Lebanon except the Hezbos.
"Obama promised transparency, but Assange is the one who brought it."
Heh...
The Saudis might want to buy some of Russia's PAC 400's to defend their oil fields. Lots of other countries are doing just that. Snicker...
Guess I'll fill up my car tomorrow.

I was just thinking the same thing.
Maybe Iran will pick up the slack and start selling gas and oil again. Don't want Europe to freeze this winter. Venezuela could help out, too. Put a surplus of oil in the commodity markets and bring those gas prices down.
If gas prices go up a lot it's going to tank Trump's
relection. But if it does he'd be a fool not to let Venezuela and Iran start selling it again. But if he starts a war with Iran his supporters will abandoned him. I hope. But from what I'm hearing here people are sick and tired of seeing our troops die when we aren't being threatened by Iran. But it looks like we are gearing up to invade Venezuela and our troops are playing new war games close to China. Just how much money do they cost every hour? The f-35's have returned to the air base by me and are flying lots more flights. One hour of fuel for a jet costs at least $30,00/hour. Multiply that by every air base in this country and overseas and off aircraft carriers...well you get the drift. But let's keep saying that we don't have money to help the homeless, the poor, disabled and elderly and keep gutting the programs we rely on.
BTW have people heard that Bezos butthead stopped giving his part time workers at Whole Foods insurance benefits? Bezos makes $100 million per day and yet many of his employees are relying on government programs. Same with Walmart and countless other companies. Bernie has a Bezos act in congress that will make any company that doesn't pay their workers a living wage have to reimburse the government. Chances of it passing are slim but it's a no brainer. You'd think that congress would go for it just to save money... you'd think.
Scientists are concerned that conspiracy theories may die out if they keep coming true at the current alarming rate.
@snoopydawg Bernie will come up
Not saying that is Bernie's fault. It is just the way the world works.
He’s damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.
I have no idea what he’ll do.
Perfect timing for Trump to stope Nord Stream 2
The vassal states of Europe are starting to rebel.
Europe's oil costs, LNG for heating, is going to go sky high anyway because we charge them a lot more than Russia does. Russia made them a really sweet deal for the pipeline and the gas — which is why they are committed to Nord Stream. But it's not online yet, is it? They're close.
Of course, Americans always pay top dollar every day. The gas Americans consume is priced at the top of the global spot market. Even if it is their own oil. The American colonists never got a piece of that action. They have to pay retail for their own natural resources. No discounts.
Not just higher prices for gas
but Europe is getting hammered because they are going along with our sanctions on Russia. Instead of buying things at lower costs they pay to have us ship it to them. Dumb poodles!
Scientists are concerned that conspiracy theories may die out if they keep coming true at the current alarming rate.
Not only retail
on our own natural resources, but no dividend. If we nationalized our core resources, like Norway, we'd have the largest sovereign wealth fund in the world, like Norway, for the benefit of the people, instead of the largest debt in the world, which we have because we rain hell on any country that tries to nationalize its resources, except the Nordics because they're white and have the highest standard of living in the world and bombing them is not a good look.

What's stunning about all of this,

There are lots of good links in the comments
One goes to a huge article on mini drones which if enough countries that we are threatening get their hands on will put our troops in danger and just maybe make us pull them out. I read his essay on how the war in Yemen was over when drones first hit the Saudis, but didn't take it seriously. I was wrong...okay. Now if we can get Trump not to attack Iran, but it looks doubtful.
I know nothing about this website, but the author talks about the replacement for Bolton is not good news for Iran.
Another Zionist Loon Will Replace Bolton: Mark Dankof
I have heard rumors about Israel's involvement in Kennedy's assassination, but didn't know what to think of it. Anyone?
There are lots of links in this excerpt that look interesting, but this one gives me the heeby jeepies!
I'd be interested in someone else's opinion on this. Not the LGBT one. I read it and dismissed it..
ETA.. I have read the article on the Kennedy's and Israel. It brings up some good points, but the site has an anti Jewish twist to it. IMO..

One credible point that I have heard regarding JFK is that he
firmly insisted that Israel's nuclear facilities would be inspected by the U.S., at a time we now know in hindsight that they were surrepticiously acquiring and developing nuclear weapons.
Pretty straight forward. They were willing to go to any means to obtain nuclear weapons and he stood in the way.
My understanding
Very much doubt this has anything to do with the assassination. Israel in Nov '63 wouldn't have had the ability to control the Secret Service, the Dallas PD, among other groups to carry it out, then also be in a position to arrange for the coverup of the investigation by the gov't and MSM. Imo, it wasn't until after the 1967 USS Liberty incident that the US-Israeli deep bond was confirmed. Partners in crime you might say.
I followed your bread crumbs but...
...I wasn't quite sure what "this" referred to:
I did gain knowledge reading the links. Are you familiar with the "Washington Report on Middle East Affairs"? I wasn't until now.
.
The entire Wikipedia page for WRMEA was an eye-opener. They keep accurate accountings of the money that changes hands in Congress to buy votes, which is my key interest. They also publish useful statistics and surveys.
The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs
All Americans should get a copy and start influencing Congressional votes in US foreign policy decisions. The American people could benefit profoundly from doing so.
I meant on the article I posted about the new Bolton
I thought it had some good information in it but when I saw that link about LGBT poisoning the world I had second thoughts on it. I have not read the site before and I'm usually leary when I read new ones.
But I did remember reading the article on JFK and Israel's possible role in killing him. I read that RFK jr doesn't think Sirhan killed his dad and that the autopsy showed he had been shot from behind and Sirhan's gun used blanks. Another CIA psyops?
Thanks for the links. From Wikipedia
Aipac has never registered as a foreign lobbyist group and that is one thing JFK was pushing for before his death. Manafort is in prison for that as well as tax evasion, etc, but John and Tony Podesta are both walking free even though they worked with Manafort in Ukraine. Funny how no one with connections to the Clintons ever goes to prison.
The attack on the Liberty, their stealing from us on many counts and the recent discovery of their spying on Trump and us are rarely covered by the media.
BTW. Trump tweeted that we are locked and loaded to go after Iran for bombing the Saudi oil fields and he says we have a good idea who did it. But he is waiting for the Saudis to tell him who they think did it. Yay! More dead Americans for a foreign country. Guess no one thinks that the Saudis and Israel should have skin in the game. Grrr!
Scientists are concerned that conspiracy theories may die out if they keep coming true at the current alarming rate.
Here is Trump's tweet on the Saudis
The timing for this sure seems convenient doesn't I? Right after Bolton is fired and just before Israel's election that happened. Who besides Pompeo is whispering in Trump's ear? Bibi? Adelson? Pompeo? Lindsay? If Trump attacks Iran his supporters better abandon him because he ran against Hillary's blood thirsty warmongering.
Lmao..it's the hypocrisy that gets me.

Barbara Lee gets too much kudo for her Iraq war vote
She was the only person who voted against the war, but then she has voted for most military budgets since then. She is #8 on the top 10 congress members who have traveled to Israel on Israel's dime.
Steny Hoyer is number one.
Hmm how many other countries pay for our congress critters to go visit? I doubt Israel is the only one, but I'm betting that they have more power over congress than any other country. Just a guess.

Barbara Lee
was the only member of Congress to vote against the 2001 AUMF, the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists. She was one of 156 members of Congress who voted against the 2002 Iraq War resolution.
Bernie Sanders voted for the AUMF in 2001 and against the Iraq War resolution in 2002.

It's very easy

Even our war ships are staying outside the area
They know that Iran can sink our battleships if we start anything. I posted a link in gjohnsit's other essay about Putin telling Bibi to knock it off and quit bombing Syria, but I think it says something about Iran too. Unless it's another article that discusses Russia and Iran buying things from each other. Plus China is building in Iran. Oh yeah it could get very messy if we do anything to Iran. Checkmate?

Technical point
We don't have any battleships. You mean warships.

We sure don't get it from Venezuela.
If we stay on oil and keep importing (two big IF's) at least we should get it from our neighbors in Mexico and Venezuela. If we had honest trade with the Latin countries and supported democracy there, I think we wouldn't have any illegal immigration problem at all.
I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.
Good point.
By that I assume you mean actual democracy, not American-style capitalocracy. We'd also have to stop engineering coups and regime changes, remove sanctions, and restrain the American corporations currently pillaging their resources.
Yes indeed - that's what I mean
Stop treating them like our colonies and start treating them like fellow ex-colonies of Europe. Independent neighbors with common interests.
I would intervene to overthrow the juntas and dictators, but ONLY after genuine consultation with the other hemispheric nations. The old OAS looked like what I want. The OAS on paper I mean, not the reality of the OAS as CIA front. And Uncle Sam can't expect to be the Big Brother. Not until we earn it, and not in the Orwellian sense. Summit talks with the Mexican President on his turf would be a start. I feel that that man is sincere.

Re Cuba
Time to stop the Cold War there too. It's been two generations. Get over it.
IL Governor George Ryan (R), had a good idea, namely to trade Illinois corn for Cuban sugar. That's was when IL still had a candy industry, which has now gone overseas.
Ryan went to prison for selling driver's licenses, but the mutual trade idea was good. Freaked out both (R)'s and (D)'s.
