These past two days have been the first in a while that we were spared torrential rain, thunder and lightning. The first light of the rising moon is showing itself at this moment. Hope all is going well at your Whare.

and thank you. here's hoping i'm/we're eligible for that particular train. ; )
lovely cover of the soul-stirring tune written by curtis mayfield in 1965; my stars. the chambers brothers cover was also brilliant.
missed la luna bella's rising over menefee mountain east of the house last night, but it seems she made it into the sky even without me cheering her on.

I check for this diary every week. Love it. I hope the tune video size is not too big. Sometimes, YouTube will not allow edits on the width/height sizes.

I am in jo-jo mode
The good thing about it is what comes down will go up. Very reassuring.
I am fine. As always I have no idea where you are. Those intertubes' anonymous tunnels make me very anxious.
Met someone who told me he is only using the darknet. I think it was a smart guy ... So, now it's not only anonymous tunnels, but dark ones too. Those tunnels are killing me.
I'm happy to hear you feel reassured in spite of the darkness.
I love the yo-yo analogy ; )

It's a look at disc dog freestyle through a racing conceit.
We have a hard time of figuring out exactly what we are doing out there. For instance, the idea of "brakes" and "steering" are kind of epiphanies... can you imagine trying to race a car without brakes or a decent steering wheel?
Here is the whole project in mindmap form:
I got 4 cameras running here: 2 GoPros, a Mavic 2 Pro, and a Sony Handycam with audio on me and audio on the dog.
I plan on reading my script in high quality audio, then dropping the video from the "toolbox" and motor sports video behind the narration. My family has some cool racing video from the 60s and 70s that I hope to feature as well.
Super stoked. Happy Friday, everybody!

a river here is like a stream, if that, comparatively. just some snow melt...if no snow, no river/s.
