Necessary steps in investigating the investigators

The following video by retired Lt. Colonel Anthony "Tony" Shaffer relates his insights into what steps must occur in the proper sequence of investigating the hoaxers and coup plotters and their Russia burdened, anti-Trump frenzied attempt to overturn the 2016 presidential election.

Of course, Shaffer has interspersed his own ideas about culpability in this video. For those who are legally-minded or procedurally interested, here is his elucidation of what steps should be taken by Barr's team. Also, Shaffer points out what procedures (authorities) he believes the plotters violated in their scheme.

It should also be told that Mr. Shaffer is pro-Trump, though this probably does not affect his rendition of what procedures should have been followed, such as unmasking US citizens. Also note is his suggested road map for Barr et. al.

yeah yeah we [Obama's team] denied they were spying to begin with but now that we know they were spying it was all done by the book and I use that term very clearly because Susan Rice the national security advisor to President Obama actually used that term on 20 january of 2017 when she referred to this entire process so my take that is the start point right there the authorities going from Susan Rice going all the way down the chain to the field operatives there should be a very very clear paper train line of authorities and most importantly who within those chains handled the information on what dates I can tell you for a fact based on my own experience being a practitioner
that an operation like this where US citizens are involved Susan Rice had to be somewhere involved in that process... executive order 12 triple three. Anybody can look at it stipulates the requirements for certain authorities to be granted relating to non-disclosed participation so the authorities are key that's where I would sit you saying that she would have had to have approved somewhere...
I think her memo alludes to that fact that there was an approval process that she was part of because in that 20 January ...memo she talks about president Obama insisting that things were done by the book so there's an acknowledgment that president Obama was somehow aware of the Russia investigation and what James Comey was doing as well it's all there she wrote it all in a memo.

By analyzing chain-of-command, including BHO's last day in office meeting with Biden, Rice, etc., Shaffer concludes that Obama MUST have been knowledgeable about the coup. Strzok and Page texted that the White House wants to stay on top of this.

Perhaps this line of inquiry will prove the direct involvement of Hussein in this sad affair. Hopefully, others will be inspired to follow similar lines of inquiry.
