Since Dipshit's installation by the Clintons into the presidency in 2016, liberals haven't learned a damn thing. Their reactionary attitudes toward the world have only intensified. This call for a sex strike by Boardroom Feminist Alyssa Milano is just one example.

On that note, how does this help to free workers from the iron fist of capital both here and worldwide? This sort of crap only intensifies the alienation already present in the US Empire which only helps capital. Perhaps that is Milano's intention. She is one of them, after all.

That brings me to today's discussion: Guerrilla Liberalism. Where liberals once sought the tranquilizing drug of Gradualism, now it seems they're waging guerilla warfare for little more than crumbs that the capitalists will take from them later anyway. After all, the Great Rollback of capitalist concessions has been going on since the 1970s, and today it's spread from the US to Europe. Short term action for short term relief won't stop said rollback.

That brings me to something wendy davis posted a few days ago on the abortion issue and my comment posted on that: Abortion is a class issue as much as any other. Rich women like Milano will have bodily autonomy regardless of what happens to the rest of us. Without the actions that brought about Roe v. Wade and the equally important but often overlooked Griswold v. Connecticut (Thanks, Thom Hartmann), and women such as Margaret Sanger, along with support from civil rights activists such as Martin Luther King Jr. and W.E.B. DuBois, working women would still be without access to things the richest assholes can get where they want, when they want.

The Guerrilla Liberalism the IDPOL cult currently advocates to keep the crumbs coming from the rich assholes will not liberate anyone from the iron fist of capital. In fact, it'll make things worse.

So what does Guerilla Liberalism include? Threatening to vote for the far-right to teach center-right liberals a lesson, for one. Exhibit A:

Andrew Gillum was Flawer'Duh's Democratic candidate for governor in 2018. The moment he won the primary, he joined the pigs and dropped the policies most people wanted. Then Billary came and destroyed what was left of his campaign. Thanks, Guerrilla Liberals. Way to keep the faith that more center-right gradualism will liberate you from far-right tyranny.

Exhibit B: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Liberal Social Democrats of 'Murica. What does she do the moment she gets elected? Bows to Nancy "We're Capitalists and Impeachment is off the table" Pelosi. Bows to Wall Street. Bows to the pigs on Russia and Venezuela (And other imperialist acts). Sure, she made a meaningless speech about declaring housing a human right, playing her role as controlled opposition perfectly, but she shilled with the rest of the pigs behind closed doors, making the SuckDems of 'Murica's rhetoric utterly moot.

Exhibit C: The McResistance, The Womens' McMarch led by Debbie Whatshername Shill, and the various short-term crumb strikes by teachers to keep shit they're going to lose anyway, all of which masks the fact that none of these fuckers oppose the very capitalism and imperialism that keep most people in this country and abroad begging for crumbs to begin with. After all, if economic times were better and people were actually able to fight for and win more than crumbs, these sons of bitches would be out of a job.

And finally, Exhibit D: Bernie Sanders. He refuses to oppose or challenge the establishment pigs in any meaningful way. In fact, when 2020's electoral clusterfuck is over, he'll disappear into obscurity just like that lunatic Ron Paul did. But don't worry, folks. Another face will make a sudden appearance in the media to tell us all what we wanna hear while the pigs scream they can't afford it and it'll all begin again before long. I wonder if we'll see Rosa's body floating in the river soon enough after the SuckDems side with the Fascists again?

You can tell me not to quibble over ideology, but it's hard not to when the only ideology we're allowed to have in this shithole is that of profits now and nothing else later.
