Biden = Hillary 2.0?
According to one poll, Joe Biden has an almost insurmountable lead over every other Democratic challenger, of 14 points over second-place Bernie. Another poll gives him a 24 point lead.
It's possible that these polls are accurate. It's also possible that they are predictive.
But I wouldn't count on it.
The Democratic frontrunner in April 2007: Hillary Clinton. In April 2003: Joe Lieberman. In April 1991: Jesse Jackson. In April 1987: Gary Hart. In April 1983: Walter Mondale (ok, that one worked out). In April 1975: Ted Kennedy. In April 1971: Edmund Muskie.
There is no way, NO WAY, on Gawd's Green Earth that I would ever vote for Biden.

The bigger question is what would a Biden presidency look like?

Biden may be like Hillary and Obama, but who he's most similar to is the guy that Dem voters most want to defeat - President Donald Trump.

In the CNN poll, I noticed that there was no reporting of respondents less than 50 years of age, since these age groups had too few respondents to adequately represent the population. Bernie overwhelmingly captured the younger voter in 2016, who will be a larger group in 2020. Typical manipulation by CNN, Clinton News Network.

And, while most folks might not get that, I do believe--for these most superficial reasons, especially after grinding through another 6, 8, or 10 months--he will not make it to the White House. during the time he was Obama's VP. This is why people think he's just a kind and funny uncle Joe type person, but in reality he is very ruthless. People have been posting lots of old videos on him when he was in congress. His talking about busing students, the crime bill, nafta, and the bankruptcy bill just to name a few of his crappy legislation.
He has put his foot down on apologizing to Anita. On his last attempt he again refused to say that he was sorry for how he treated her during the Thomas hearings. He says that he is sorry for how she was treated by others. This time he had his wife sitting next to him. I guess that means she supports him saying....
And he never says her name. Not that I've seen anyway.

Trump won because he played on the fact that the Democrat leadership is repulsive to middle America. And they are -- smarmy, elite know-it-alls. And worse, they can't relate to middle America and have nothing to offer, since they have rejected progressive politics. I can see that clearly now. The liberal MSM absolutely refused to see American politics from the viewpoint of middle America, since they themselves are elite East/West coasters. All of the Dem leaders are repulsive, Pelosi, Schumer, Biden, Clinton, Obama, etc. The MSM just doesn't see this. I predict an easy win for Trump, if the economy holds and he does not get into a shooting war by 2020. Again the friggin MSM polls will be wrong, because we have an electoral college system and polls weigh the populated coasts too much. Remember, the incumbent has a huge advantage. The Clinton trap of Russian collusion has been destroyed, although the stupid Dems believe that they can bring it back from the dead, like a zombie. The Dems can't go after policy, because their's is the same as Trump's. So, they will once again be seen as too abrasive in their attacks on Trump and he gets a free pass to demolish Biden's image, a delightful task if you think about it.
