Just like old times
Happy days are here again. Blackwater has returned to Iraq.
Blackwater founder Erik Prince's new company is reportedly operating in Iraq, a country from which his former company was banned for killing civilians.A subsidiary of Frontier Services Group (FSG), a security and logistics company Prince founded in Hong Kong, has set up shop in Basra, Iraq, BuzzFeed News reported Saturday, citing official documents.
...
With support from CITIC, a Chinese state-owned investment group, Prince founded FSG. And, like Blackwater, Prince's new company is no stranger to controversy.
There's only one phrase that comes to mind as an appropriate response: "This is what happens when war criminals aren't prosecuted."
And speaking of Prince's Chinese friend, that's a story in itself.
Now FSG has drawn international attention for a signing ceremony to build a training center in far western China, where the Chinese government has detained as many as a million Uighur Muslims in political camps. The statement, made in Chinese, was subsequently removed from the firm’s website.
...
Critics accuse FSG of potentially helping the Beijing government engage in mass repression of ethnic Uighurs and other Muslims in western Xinjiang and, in the process, advancing the geopolitical agenda of a strategic U.S. competitor.“I am a businessman, not a politician, but I am also a proud American who would never do anything against my country’s national interest,” Prince said in a phone interview.
Hah! Of course you are a traitor, and of course you've moved on from massacring children to concentration camps.
Reports that Prince had pitched paramilitary services in Libya in 2016, which FSG denied any involvement in, had added to the tension.
Oh right. Libya. I had forgotten about that.
On Jan. 11, 2017, Intelligence Online — a professional journal covering the world’s intelligence services — revealed that the pilots of Air Tractor attack planes flying from Al Khadim air base in Libya are private contractors working for Erik Prince, the founder of the company formerly known as Blackwater.War Is Boring’s own sources in Libya confirmed the assertion. Our sources said that the pilots flying the United Arab Emirates Air Force IOMAX AT-802 Air Tractors — converted crop-dusters — are mercenaries and aren’t Arabs.
Most of the for-profit aviators are American, according to IOL.
I predict that one day we will all watch Erik Prince's live execution on a grainy, low-quality video.

There is no mercy
in mercenary. War pigs flying.
question everything
Oh, look, Air Strikes from Prop planes...
And who did we JUST sell a shit load of M2s to? So, logically, they don't fear anti-aircraft fire because the people they sold the anti-air weaponry to are on their side...
And it just ended up in the hands of Al-Qaeda...
This is not going to end well for the mercs when their "allies" turn on them. As they always do. 1st rule of being a Mercenary they should learn. You are DISPOSABLE. That's why they hired you and pay you big bucks. Nobody cares if you die.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
Old times, very old times
Mercenaries were A Thing in the original Middle Ages, and were always trouble. If they didn't get paid on time and well, they turned on their employers; if they got too greedy, their employers turned on them (which sometimes didn't turn out so well for the employers, as the history of the Grand Catalan Company - look it up - indicates).
"My six gold rings are dearly bought,
Blood has paid for the plate I own.
Our front rank spear met the French knights' charge,
Of a hundred men I returned alone...."
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
Eric Prince is also negotiating to send his company to Venezuela

"Prominent supporter of Donald Trump"
And Adam Schiff has accused him of lying to Congress. I'm sure the DOJ will take the case very seriously [/s].
