Hey Portland OR C99% people!
I would like to meet you all and check out Portland as a possible place to live as I am currently a nomad. Perhaps we could arrange a time and place, not too soon, not too far off?
Here is the basic situation. Mom passed away October 1, and my sister and her boyfriend have been prepping Mom's house for sale. I am expected to stay away and not live in the place while repairs are being conducted. Rents and property values in most of California are too high, and I would eventually like to live in a place where I can pursue modified French Intensive cultivation, & to complete my book. I can live in lots of places as my current subsistence income is made online. But right now I am a nomad, checking things out.
What are you all doing these days?
here's a song for my life these days:

Portland's a great place.
If you're looking for a tour guide I suck, but I can point you to a few local places to enjoy yourself/try things out.
Unfortunately, I'm barely making ends meet so as far as find a place I'm useless, but I'd happily take a couple days to show you around if you like.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
thank you Detroitmechworks!

Hey Cass
It's been donkey years since I played around that area. Corvallis and Eugene were pretty cool then. And Eureka! was a bit sleepy but pretty. Good luck.
Cass, does February 9th or 10th
Work for a meetup? There are quite a few of us in the area.
