Everyonegate!
Forget Russiagate election meddling. We are now moving on to Chinagate, Irangate, and North Koreagate.
However, a new report by the U.S. intelligence community concluded Americans were subjected to ongoing influence operations and disinformation campaigns by several countries, a finding that could trigger automatic sanctions."The activity we did see was consistent with what we shared in the weeks leading up to the election," Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats said in a statement late Friday.
"Russia, and other foreign countries, including China and Iran, conducted influence activities and messaging campaigns targeted at the United States to promote their strategic interests," he added.
...
The new report now goes to the U.S. attorney general and to the Department of Homeland Security, which have 45 days to review the findings. Should they concur with the intelligence community's assessment, Russia, China and Iran could be slapped with new sanctions.
That sounds serious.
Obviously the government wouldn't be putting out reports like this if they didn't have solid evidence.
Let's start with China.
China may be taking a page of the playbook used by Russia to meddle with the 2016 U.S. presidential election, targeting U.S. political action committees and various think tanks with spear-phishing emails.
...
"We have not yet directly observed subsequent attacker activity that would indicate the motivation or intent," FireEye told VOA via email.
..."They would like to see me lose an election because they've never been challenged like this," U.S. President Donald Trump alleged last Wednesday, citing China's displeasure with hundreds of billions of dollars of U.S. tariffs on Chinese products, part of an escalating trade war."We have evidence. It will come out," he added.
That certainly sounds convincing to me.
Obviously we are under attack, Pearl Harbor-style, by China.
The problem is that Facebook and Twitter disagree.
Though President Trump and Vice President Pence have repeated claims that China is actively trying to meddle in the upcoming US midterm elections, officials at Facebook and Twitter have now said they haven't come across any such attempts. Anonymous press representatives at the two social media companies told Bloomberg that while disinformation campaigns have been uncovered and linked to Russia and Iran, none have been linked to China.
It's not just China that's controlling our elections. Iran is too.
Twitter has published data sets that include millions of tweets, images and videos and thousands of accounts linked to operatives based in Russia and Iran, who have sought to use the platform for nefarious purposes.
I just love that term, "nefarious purposes". It sounds like Bond-villian territory.
The datasets are made up of 3,841 accounts affiliated with the Internet Research Agency, 770 other accounts potentially in Iran as well as 10 million tweets and more than 2 million images, videos and other media.
Twitter previously suspended 770 accounts linked to Iran for “engaging in coordinated manipulation” and violating policies. Less than 100 of those claimed to be located in the U.S., and many “were sharing divisive social commentary,” the company said in August.
100 Twitter accounts. Scary, huh?
That's all it takes to be a 9/11-type attack these days.
Then there is North Korea.
NEW: National security adviser John Bolton says in addition to Russia, there's "sufficient national security concern" that China, Iran, and North Korea are meddling in the 2018 U.S. elections.

So just those four countries?
I noticed that Israel wasn't on the list, despite spending 10 times as much as Russia did. Of course Israel used the money on legal bribes, which is a more acceptable method.

No seriously, it's about the only way I can enjoy this shit anymore. They're all just hamming it up in an insane farce that is not meant to be taken seriously.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
Especially not serious since they left out Saudi
A truth of the nuclear age/climate change: we can no longer have endless war and survive on this planet. Oh sh*t.
The media has just said
Fuck it! Let's throw shit at the wall until something sticks. But it will all stink...

How long before they blame Mars?
I mean, there must have been some reason that Trump wanted to send a mission there, right?
He justed wanted to see if it was true what they say about Mars
Alternate explanation: He like the idea of a place where his hair would blend in.
I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.
It's the freakiest show
Scientists are concerned that conspiracy theories may die out if they keep coming true at the current alarming rate.
The Intelligence Community???? Well, I know one thing

Funny,
cos the CIA has been interfering, across the globe, daily, for lo these many decades.
What goes around, comes around.
The USA, an exceptionally blinkered nation.
Gëzuar!!
from a reasonably stable genius.
Evidently it doesn't count if the money being spent to meddle
in U.S. politics is money originally looted from U.S. taxpayers.
