Recruiter Calls Me to Tell Me About Yet ANOTHER Job I Will Never Get

The reason why should be obvious to anyone who has read my postings long enough. The asshole recruiter from New Fuckin' York said these sons of bitches want someone who can be on-site. In Palm Bay. Since I can't drive, this is yet another job I could never fucking get.

It's fuckin' hilarious. Vomit inducing, even. Supposedly the area in which I live is supposed to be the next Silicon Valley. If that's the case, where are all the god damn jobs? Oh, that's right. Companies would rather fly in assholes from other states so the political pigs can call it job creation.

What made me laugh was that the guy asked me if I had an original birth certificate or a passport because I have no drivers' license.

So at this point, I'd like to know: Are there really any god damned jobs or are recruiters just paid to spamfuck your phone/email, because if that's the case, perhaps recruiting compaines should get the corporate guillotine.

It's important to focus on the needs of the employer, and then determine if you're a good fit for what they want to accomplish. I am certain that there's something that you're good at, and that's accessible. Find that niche.

"Obama promised transparency, but Assange is the one who brought it."

@dervish it's pretty clear to me he wants a job, every employer I ever saw was a shitty fit except for the one brief period when I joined up with an egalitarian cooperative bread factory, but that was decades ago. Since then more decay. Screw what employers want, they are the ones burning world, mostly.

Sounds to me like Florida treats disabled same horrible way as California, labor laws are weaker than thin soup, and good luck enforcing justice for people who have the least power in this capitalist bribery system. good luck

I can be glad for people who do find their happiness too. HOPE a lot.

@dervish If I had a dollar for every time I heard that line, I'd be rich enough to buy my own government.

Modern education is little more than toeing the line for the capitalist pigs.

Guerrilla Liberalism won't liberate the US or the world from the iron fist of capital.

The point is, ALL of the ones I saw require a driver license. Period. Receptionist? Better have a DL. Librarian? DL. Programmer? DL.

Due to disability, he cannot drive, and does not possess a driver license. Therefore, even if his passion was sorting coat hangers, he would be disqualified because he does not have, and cannot obtain a driver license.

I suspect the requirement is an underhanded way of disqualifying "illegals", but I can't be sure.

Surely you've explained the conundrum of not being able to get a driver license, and that all jobs in FL require one, right?

What is the response?

@Deja "Have you thought about moving to an area with more opportunities?"

I wish I were making this up.

Ugh! Same thing people say about people who live where natural disasters happen, and who live in states with shitty elected officials. Just move. Blech!
