I don't live in Utah anymore, but this came up in my FB feed today (I follow Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge's page):

This is actually the second wildlife bridge in Utah; I didn't even know there was one. It makes me happy to see these sorts of things being built to help wildlife (and people). Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
(And of course the usual comments complaining that it's a waste of money, because people have no idea how taxes actually work [or how they should work]. Sigh.)

Wow, I’d never heard of wildlife bridges before, brilliant!
Saves lots of lives of all species, including human. I should suggest the same to the NE states on behalf of the deer. Animals deserve retribution for the land and sustainence they've sacrificed.

not,they're UNDERpasses(tunnels essentially) with fencing alongside the road to funnel wildlife to the entrance.
Bridges are Cool,too.

I had the same reaction
But then I usually have this reaction every day there.
This is a great idea to help save not only wildlife's lives, but it keeps people from crashing into them and saving both lives.
The message echoes from Gaza back to the US. “Starving people is fine.”
Thanks for the good news. The idea of wildlife over & under
passes has been around for a long time, and a bunch have already been built here and there, but not nearly enough, and it is good to see the practice spreading.
