Please support BNR on Daily Kos

I know some folks don't even go back to Daily Kos. Cool with me. But if you do, please recommend Bernie News Roundup (BNR) every morning. It's a beachhead of liberated territory behind metaphoric enemy lines. They need recs to survive and get the message out as long as they can.
I think it's going to get very bad there. Hillary vigilante groups are forming and calling for bannings. Most Hillary supporters are not like that, but all it takes is a few who inform and point out the unclean ones.
If Bernie wins more, it will get even worse.
Those that can, help keep BNR alive as long as we can.
No doubt, this blogpost I write will be quoted there. We will see the limits of the brave new blog's " freedom."

I am okay long as I don't click on 'comments'--so despite not wanting to give Napoleon his website hits, I have chosen to support LD, and trying to be better about logging on to rec that. It's totally worth it, it's the best roundup online, IMO.
I abide the same philosophy Jekyll. Will post diaries here first
for the family, then over there for mass consumption. For the time being.
To me it's important to maintain a bigger Bernie presence on the Rec list during the primaries.

MB: Have you been following BNR daily? Did you check out the family pic LD posted (B&W) of him being held in his Dad's arms? LD is major Native American blood. No wonder he's doing this blog. I am Irish/German/Cherokee Indian. My old man is cracker Floridian: German, French and Blackfoot. Why is Markos going RW nuts? I've been on DK for 8 years. I don't do diaries. Still, I am a life-long Futurist/Political Junkie. I don't get the purges of posters cos they don't like HRC. She's a bad joke, and dumber (genetically) than Wee Willie Slinkee. That's my opinion. Aren't we supposed to have informed debates during primaries? Appreciate your answer. BTW: BERN**BABY**BERN!!

I never saw a follow up discussion of the #whichhillary hashtag shutdown. Did the owner of twitter indeed shut down this feed? If so, supporting twitter seems a bad idea. Thanks for any insight you might have.

The BNR is the only thing I miss from TOS. I prided myself on having read, rec'd & tipped every diary until my week long timeout. I haven't been back since and won't be going back again. If it's not too much effort, it would be great if he could format it for this site and get it to post. Even without all the bells and whistles, it would be great to read it here!

about bony mojo. I would like to receive this badge of honor. I got put in time out about 2 weeks ago for (paraphrase) longstanding, reoccurring, inappropriate, trouble making behavior. For years I would get the messages on my page that said 'Maybe you would be happier somewhere else. Acknowledge this or else.' Well I found somewhere else and I am much happier not to be called a purist, far leftie, firebagging, emoprog, Nadarite Rotten Dr. Commie Rat.
Dkos was/is toxic. Kos and his flying monkeys have run off over the 10years I've been there most lefties who refused to say Nie! The less I go there the better I feel about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for us all. The fear is gone, even when I do go over and see what the authoritarian idiot's are up too. I'm glad to see other people I respect and care about from dkos finding a better place which welcomes free thought/speech and does not think far left democratic humanistic 'issues' are a waste of time.

dkos. I don't deal well with the heavy hand kos displays; I was raised to question authority, and his has become highly questionable. Sure, it's his blog, his rules. But actions have consequence--or should. He's being merciless about inflicting consequences on long-timers that in some cases are not deserved. I'd like to be able to separate consequences for LP from consequences for kos. I may be able to stick it out a little longer with a read and rec for LP. Not sure. Nevertheless, I understand and applaud the motives for this essay, TomP.

Everyone supporting Bernie should blow off DKos, due to the authoritarianism, and post here. Then we all twitter and FB those posts from here to generate more traffic for the posts and for C99. We could have some sort of an alert or flagging from the compilation diaries such as those so we all notice them. Why would any of us want to give Kos cred that he no longer deserves?
Where else can we read BNR
The atmosphere at GOS is so oppressive. Would love to support LD, but not if it means continuing to read GOS.
I asked in BNR if he'd cross post, don't think he wants to do that. Said something about believing in changing from within, that ship sailed long ago over there.
Feel very strongly about not wanting to do anything which helps that website.

Our local veggie farmer lives close by and I can "work for food" so that is awesome for me. Yesterday we moved compost to some of the planting beds and their land is oh so beautiful it calms my spirit like nothing else. Today it will rain again which means our area is approaching "normal" rainfall for the first time in a long time. Cheers.

I'm wondering if Tasini will be the next one banned. He/She just posted an anti-Hillary diary, good of course, over on the Great Orange Satan that is probably bannable.
I've been wondering about Tasini's fate over there as well.
A lot of twerps who have no idea who Jonathan Tasini is have been shrilly demanding he be banned. It's a conundrum for poor Markos (cue the tiny violin!) because he surely DOES know that Jonathan has real stature in meat-space and banning him from his site would become a news story gleefully repeated by the MSM and the right: Dissent on the left! Insurgent New York politician purged at Daily Kos!

But if Markos bans Jonathan Tasini, it would definitely call attention to the purge. Tasini has appeared on MSM as a surrogate for Bernie. I was kind of hoping Markos bans him. As of 10 am eastern, Tasini still has all of his mojo. If he is not banned, then greywolfe has a better argument for reinstatement. Markos created this mess and it will come back to bite him in the rear quarters eventually.

Tasini is a good guy who can create megaphones for his views. Better politics that the Blogowner and deep relationships with unions and other progressives.
Censorship
is not democratic and should never be a part of even an ostensibly Democratic blog. I have pretty much quit posting there simply because I believe that self censorship is the worst kind and that is what I find myself doing. Anyway, Markos dodged a big one by only putting Tasini in TO while he bojo'd greywolfe and New Minas for far less. It has become a witch hunt over there and I am guessing Markos could care less about his site than he cares about pleasing the Democratic party's establishment.

I saw Joe Scarborough make an impassioned case this morning about how Hillary Clinton was a far better Republican than Donald Trump and he enumerated the issues where she was on the Republican wavelength. The Hillary supporters over there don't seem to distinguish between criticism and attacks on their candidate. Apparently blunt criticism is a bannable offense by several of them. Makes it really tough to have a conversation, don't you think?

I logged in to T&R Liepar and some comments earlier today. I wonder if it's possible to time the wrecks so to keep it on the list all day long? Do tips on later comments keep it going? I don't know ~shrug~ but there are over a million pair of eyeballs registered there so I think it is smart to use dk for added Bern exposure.

for the support everyone. I appreciate everyones comments and understand the decisions some have made! The #1 reason I haven't started crossposting is time. Most people know I throw these together in the wee hours of the morning before I dash off to work most days so theres literally no time left to cross-post the material over until what would be much further in the day.
I've started to test around with how quickly I can put together an edition here, but will have to do a little more before I can make any final decisions on what I can commit to. Regardless of the BNR I do look forward to posting/reading about other topics here and will try to become more active!
After lurking addictively
at TOP for 8+ years, months before the edict came down, when so many of the anti-Bernie folks had already begun crapping on anything positive and going ballistic at every bs story coming out of their anointed one’s PR machine, going there became a real challenge. I eventually stopped reading anything but LD’s inspirations of the day (which he deserves massive credit and gratitude for, esp. on those days when things seem to be going in the wrong direction). I understand there are technical issues about moving his work over here (I’m technologically inept and can’t even figure out how to post a jpeg on this site), but I just can’t see giving a single penny of my SS check to support the lifestyle of a newly-rich-and-famous-bought-and-paid-for-suck-up over at that other place.

Finally trying out this site, along with Reddit. I loved the BNR morning posts on DK but since I do not go there anymore, I try get them online but they are usually a day late and sometimes not up at all. Of course, there are no comments to be made with the online site which I liked almost as much as the blog itself.
As much as I would like to support BNR, I cannot bring myself to go back to DK. I have been there from the beginning and it took many days/weeks for me to stop peeking and now I am resolved not to go back.
This site, I find a bit confusing but if you put up the stuff you also put on DK, I would come here more often.
