Tensions rising between Mueller, Manafort over level of cooperation: Sources
This is interesting. Apparently Mueller is trying to nail Roger Stone (the repugnant old bastid) for something and he’s just not getting the ‘proof’ he wants. Why are the taxpayers on the hook for Booby’s vendetta against Stone? I don’t freaking care what Stone said or did. How does this tie in with the Dims original plan to screw with Trump with fake FISA warrants and the fraudulent document used to get those warrants? Why are we going through all this when the ONLY party that ‘colluded’ with anyone is the party that’s pushed this dangerous lie to begin with.
They started a war in this country that just keeps escalating. Now morons have taken to the streets to keep this ‘-vich hunt’ going. What does this bunch of braying jackasses think they can accomplish?
Tensions rising between Mueller, Manafort over level of cooperation: Sources
Talks between Special Counsel Robert Mueller and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort have grown increasingly tense over Manafort’s apparent lack of cooperation with the investigation, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.
Prosecutors from Mueller’s office have been asking Manafort about a wide range of topics in nearly a dozen meetings since Manafort agreed to cooperate in September, sources said, but the Mueller team is “not getting what they want,” said one source with knowledge of the discussions.
"Should it be judged...that the defendant has failed to cooperate fully, has intentionally given false, misleading or incomplete information or testimony...the defendant will not be released from his pleas of guilty but the Government will be released from its obligations..." his plea agreement reads.

In August, a Virginia-based jury found Manafort guilty on eight charges of financial crimes predating his time at the Trump campaign after a lengthy trial. In September, in a dramatic shift on the eve of a second trial in neighboring Washington, D.C., Manafort pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy and agreed to fully cooperate with prosecutors.

Sources tell ABC News Mueller has been asking Manafort questions about his time working with Stone from the mid 1980s through their time with the Trump campaign. Manafort has offered little information on those topics that would assist prosecutors, sources said.

Thank you, Amanda
This witch hunt has gotten out of control. It serves mostly to further divide this country and to divert our attention away from more pressing issues. I have posted here multiple times that if there is something to this Russia collusion business, we would have seen it by now. Two freakin' years and millions of dollars and it has turned up nothing in regard to Trump and Russia colluding to fix the election.
Do I hear the sound of guillotines being constructed?

It is so wrong that Mueller has the ‘power’
to go back through a person’s whole life and ‘find’ something that he can use as leverage (blackmail?) to get the ‘proof’ he needs for who knows what now? The minute Clinton and Obama’s names got attached to this seditious scandal, the desperation to cover it all up shifted into hyperdrive.

Amanda,
thanks for keeping us focussed on these points. Ever since Mueller targeted Manafort and brought charges, and ever since Manafort's conviction on the charges, the proposition has been that Manafort would cooperate in exchange for a light sentence. OK. But the assumption that he would provide evidence of Trump collusion was implied because we're all supposed to be under the spell of Russiagate as truth, not only Russiagate but also Collusiongate, as a given. Both are assumed to be true, even though they're what Mueller is supposed to be investigating.
So if Manafort cooperates and tells the truth, that there was no Russiagate and there was no Collusion, then he's not cooperating.
So he's not cooperating. Cooperating means working with the assumption that there was Trump campaign collusion with Russia to destroy our election, and it means offering information to assist prosecutors. Prosecutors of what? What's the crime if there hasn't been evidence, so far, of a crime? I'm ranting.
Unless Mueller is going to make sh*t up and charge Trump
anyway. I can see that happening can't you? The PTB have so much invested in Russia Gate especially restarting the Cold War.
I looked at the protesters in Utah and elsewhere and just can't believe how many people are buying this. After all the other times our government has lied to us people will still believe what they say.
The Iraq war started the war of terror which was done on false pretenses has seen 1 million innocent civilians killed. 500,000 in Syria alone. And still people didn't think twice believing that Hillary only lost because of outside interference. So yeah I can see Mueller making something up.
Russia Gate is the new WMDs. Remember the Maine.

I just wonder what’s going to happen next.

When there's no proof of a crime, charge'em with Conspiracy
And, if that can't be shown to a legal certainty, better add trusty old Obstruction. At last resort, there's "collusion" with a small-c, since all that requires is 6-degrees of separation from Vladimir Putin, a handful of FaceBook ads, and a picture of Roger Stone's tattoo of Richard Nixon and his recalled phone conversation with Julian Assange's lawyer at Wikileaks. Finally, even if that doesn't quite make it as legal proof, they'll still introduce a Bill of Impeachment, and that's likely to pass in the House, anyway, as that needs no more than simple numerical majority.
Should keep the show going for another two years. That has always been the point.
Exactly what I was thinking
Cooperation means telling them what they want to hear. He probably can't; therefore, he's not cooperating.
This whole thing is a farce. I don't doubt for a second that Trump is guilty of criminal activity regarding his business practices, but that's not collusion with the damn Russians over his election. Big, fat waste of time and money.
Don't even get me started on the fawning over the purity and bravery and heroism of Mueller by the McResistance bots. Gag!
And their fawning over Sessions
who was one of the worst AGs in history and one of the most racist. His last piece of legislation was a doozy.
I'm glad that he's gone because he was going after marijuana clinics and making it so damn difficult for people to get their pain meds. He put the fear of gawd into a lot of doctors who practice pain management. Next to go should be the blond DHS director who thinks it's just swell to separate children from their parents and then deport the parents before they are reconnected with their kids. Who can be that cold and cruel? Thousands of children have been scarred for life from what the experts said.

Soon, it will be Fitzmas again.
And we will finally see Rove frog marched across the White House lawn.
Oh, wait. Wrong Republican President. Sorry!
(-;
Believe it or not people have said that
on you know where. Guess they forgot how that turned out. Hint: Rove wasn't frog marched out of the WH.

And the unindicted co-conspirator was never publicly named.
I believe it, although I don't typically check TOP. I posted there a bit, but it was never my posting "home," as it was for most posters here.
