This is what I want in a politician

Forget 'Draft Bernie'. I want 'Draft Jeremy'.

Jeremy Corbyn tonight warned the rich that they are on 'borrowed time' because a Labour Government is coming.

In a fiery speech to hundreds of activists, he said the poor had ended up paying the price for the 2008 financial meltdown through austerity while the rich got richer.

He railed against neo-liberalism and austerity, and said that if he is elected to No10 he will usher in major change.

He told the audience in Liverpool: 'Challenging neoliberal economics is fundamental to what we believe in.'

Mr Corbyn added: 'Austerity has been meted out on the poorest and most vulnerable people in our society.

'They are the ones who paid the price of the banking crisis of 2008, all the time the very richest in our society have had tax breaks, giveaways and tax havens.

'I tell you what: they are on borrowed time because a Labour government is coming.'

How do we get one of him?

Ralph Nader. My husband and I heard him speak last year, and he was terrific.

@Linda Wood

and won't ever be forgiven for "spoiling" the 2000 election (as if that rotten mess could be "spoiled" any more than it was from the get-go).

There is no justice. There can be no peace.

How about him and Bernie? I read somewhere that the new DNC rules will let the superdelegates pick the VP. This way Bernie has a neoliberal by his side when he kicks the bucket. He'll need to hire a taster.
