Senator Warren has been busy.
In addition to the proposal to rein in corporations, she has now introduced an anti-corruption and public integrity act.
there is a summary here:

First the political aspect, is she running for president? Or is she throwing down a marker to Democratic candidates? Me, I doubt she can win a national election, nor do I think she would necessarily be a good president. Does she want to be Majority Leader?
Second, what about her now two proposals? I hope we can have some discussions here after reading the bills and some reflection. My first reaction is that, while I like most of what she proposes, I am skeptical of there being a need for yet another government department, or two. I am also rather surprised to learn that Congressional staffers don't get paid enough, according to Warren.

It's like an internship.
Congressional staffing, that is.
Staffers are there becuz THEY want to be a Congress critter!
It's a good way to "learn the ropes."
They even get paid!
Not much, maybe, but there isn't a one of them that wouldn't do it for free.
Most of them come from upper middle class (or wealthy) homes, their parents, I'm sure, helping with expenses. And, if I were 45 years younger I would sign up for same in a heartbeat.

EW’s Presidential sell-by date was 2016
when she would have been positioned to Clinton’s left and Sanders’ right. It’s a different world now.
yep. n/t

I hope she's just drawing up
legislation for the good of the country without any ulterior motives of running for POTUS in 2020. I really don't think she stands a chance.

That is my hope also.

Precisely.
She might be able to do more good this way.
