This might be the worst article I've ever read

I happened across this absolutely horrible Buzzfeed article about Markos' new polling project.
It's a bootlicking, brownnosing, sycophantic article that you shouldn't read on a full stomach.

That being said, way down deep in the article I found this gem.

Moulitsas has always been more interested in polling, tactics, and, broadly, politics than many of his peers on the American left. Where others debated, for instance, the merits of centrist Hillary Clinton and progressive Bernie Sanders, Daily Kos stayed neutral — and its Daily Kos Elections drew bipartisan respect as a supremely nerdy source of election analysis.

What!?! What!! What?!?
Are you f*ckin kidding me?!

Did the writer of this article not do any research at all?
Ides of F*ckin March you dummass.

And then it gets worse.

The new data, Moulitsas said, should show Democrats how to win.

“We’re the reality-based community and we’ve always prided ourselves on our allegiance to data,” he said. “We don’t talk about what the American people think — we look at the data. A lot of that is practical. We want a more progressive America, and to get there we need to know how to win.”

Excuse me?!?

After I repeatedly pointed out that Hillary wasn't winning over independents, while Bernie was, and all the Markos bootlickers assured us that they didn't need independents.
After the Markos bootlickers spent the entire Obama Administration doing touchdown dances in the end zone, while they were getting their clocks cleaned.
And now they do nothing but yell "Russia!" all day long.

This steaming pile of horsesh*t from buzzfeed has caused me to have a loss for words.
Someone needs to help me out with a better response.

Not quite as self-flattering as Markos would like. From Ron Suskind:

The aide said that guys like me were 'in what we call the reality-based community,' which he defined as people who 'believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.' [...] 'That's not the way the world really works anymore,' he continued. 'We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors...and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do'.

In other words, it's our world and you libtards are just living in it. Remember that next time that crowd accuses you of wanting a pony. They're happily living in someone else's neocon Matrix.

Sadly though I know a lot of people who are Democrat's and are singing Russia did it, and people who refuse to vote for the neoliberal, neocon, puppet pols are why we have Trump. In my lily white, gentrified, 85% Democratic street (some Indies and Green holdouts left) these people don their pussy pink hats, put out Black Lives Matter signs and preach the gospel of progress and social liberalism. Empower those corporate glass ceiling breaking women! Right Now! The homeless and poor? Get them off the street. Their dirty and tweakers. Growth is good. Ignorance is Strength. War is Peace. They are the gatekeepers.

None of them are dkos members but they reflect the current state of by-partisan political delusion. Who knows maybe it's more comfortable to them to think they are not part of the problem. Reality based my ass. The Russia did it bs. that they all parrot alone is enough to show you how deep their heads are implanted in the sand. They truly believe in the reality they have chosen because it validates the reality they have been fed and believed for decades. There is no way the Democratic party will survive as it is becoming more and more apparent to people who are not invested, literally, in believing this sad, insane non reality they believe in. There is more to reality/life then cooked up data and while numbers don't lie the tea readers who use them are lying propagandist's. Facts my ass. Maybe, as a propaganda outlet, they decided that they needed to try to somehow verify that expectation of Hillary winning in order to more plausibly plant the 'She would have won if Russia hadn't cheated her of the election, so we have to bomb them/do that regime change thing' story? Along with perhaps killing more widely public faith in the concept of democratic government, as in enacting and protecting the public good, for more blatant and direct corporate/military rule?

How more expediently to do that to have a last-minute switch to a scapegoat interim President to start doing the more obvious dirty and be brought under TPTB's control to still do what they want done - and claim that it was the Ebil Russians further exposed Hillary's and the DNC's corruption, which means war, if only as an excuse for hoovering up any wealth and power remaining to the American people and country?

After the election, there were emails aimed at having Clinton coronated anyway as The Rightful Heir. She never stopped campaigning (or what she'd term that, anyway), either, did she? She's still got her security clearance and access to restricted information after how many years of not being in any public office? and her nose in the public business; her opinions on public affairs are still being quoted in the MSN and her State Department people were still there until Trump removed them. Same with Bush and Obama Admin people, all still working within the government to help The Plan along.

And I suspect that the propaganda will again present Hillary as being far more popular and publicly found less reprehensible if she is, indeed, going after Her Turn again, this time with the aid of Homeland Security's electoral control. Dear gawd, I'm depressing myself, but I do think that this ought to be considered. There are no depths too low for The Psychopaths That Be, as we've seen.

So says the loser. To Kos and his peers in Neverland, Failure is an option.

Gatekeeping is a hard business, apparently...not. Markos is certainly not alone in pretending that he hasn't, in fact, lost his keys. They were galactically wrong yet can't afford to step down from their perch, all of them. So they keep on (gate)keeping on.

At some point we will have to invent a Kos unit, a la Freidman, you know, 'we need to know how to win so that we can win in order that maybe someday we can win'...six degrees of winning or something like that.

I refuse it because no one has proven it without a doubt, and many of the claims so far have fallen by the wayside. Did you ever read the letter that the Intel Vets wrote to the government about this? Did you see the states that cried foul at that report that 21 states were hacked by the Russians? Did you see the nonsense reporting about the Russians being involved in the NFL protest issues?

Do you not have any sense of skepticism?

How does Russia spending (allegedly) $150,000 on Facebook ads compare with the Clinton campaign spending $1 million in terms of influence on the election?

Does it not give you pause when you find that our country has interfered in the most elections in this world of any country?

www.latimes.com/www.npr.org/

Honduras...www.theguardian.com/www.counterpunch.org/

dissidentvoice.org/…

“After more than 60 days following the kidnapping of President Zelaya and the seizure of power by the usurper “government” of Roberto Micheletti, it became impossible for Washington to continue to deny its direct involvement in this reprehensible and internationally condemned act.”

www.thenation.com/… Please do some homework on Berta Caceres of Honduras.

So, faced with all this clear evidence that our country has and continues to interfere with the elections and internal political issues of many other countries, often causing many deaths, do you think it’s OK when we do it, but not when the Russians do it?

I apparently crossed a line twice... asking poor Catte Nap if she had any sense of skepticism, and mentioning Berta Caceres.

Some of the data will be public; some will be available to academics, media, and campaigns, for a fee.

This last year there were a number of revelations on how there exists an consultant class in and around the DNC that is raking in tens if not hundreds of million dollars. And controlling the party for the most part.

A funny part is the mass behavior on TOP compared to opposite to what Kos is saying in the article. Don't talk about impeachment? TOP is utterly possessed with impeachment (due to Russians).

Oh, hey, white gop women are open to gun control. TOP constantly attacks and demeans white gop female voters as racist and sexist. Good luck with that mwssaging.

And then there is the money/donation election part of TOP. I don't follow them but didn't they refuse to back progressives early on and supported the corporatist in GA?

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

If he is part of the Clinton campaign, then it's a good bet that kos knows him. Markos got to play with the big boy in the DLC before it went away. I think it's now called Americans for Cap ... (something) and Obama is also involved with it.

We know that kos changed directions after he met with Bill at his building in Harlem. Wasn't that when Rachel changed too? A bunch of journalists got together with Bill and they received their orders for how to play in the big leagues.

How much money did daily kos get from Correct the Record? Remember when there was a huge influx of new members who were in the bag for Her?

Daily Kos is a democratic party blog, it is what it is. Don't worry, the progressive insurgency is coming to save the day.

I told him his statement about Kos being neutral during the dem primary was a joke. I told him to look at March 2016 when Kos declared that Clinton would win and that this was the point at which the purge of Bernie supporters began.
His email address is right at the bottom of the article.
I hope others correct this man's reporting too.

by Mcjoan copy of Crapping the Gates ... ha ha ha.

wow - almost 12 years ago! ah, the memories! getting HR's from those 2 asswipes dinkymini and geekesque (sp?) for calling useless assholes what they were - useless assholes.

on 1 hand, "Crapping..." should be torn up & used to wipe my ass & sent back to Kos-Sherkeli.

on the other hand - I'll keep it to remind myself about the danger of trusting smug, self dealing, self promoting charlatans.

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.

HUGE, they mean HUUGE news from Kos.

New polling project!! Wowie zowie!!

In other words, Markos found a new scam to con more cash out of a pack of idiot backers.

I think about an outfit like Kos polling the same thing I think about workplace camera surveillance which is that it is the same pack of fools evaluating the evidence.
