Nearly broke DNC somehow manages to pay Hillary group $300K

It's not illegal, but it looks bad.

The cash-strapped Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) have combined to pay Hillary Clinton's "resistance" group nearly $900,000 for list acquisitions, Federal Election Commission filings show.
The DNC, which is in the midst of facing financial hardships, conjured up $300,000 on Jan. 8 to pay Onward Together, Clinton's group, for "list acquisition," according to the FEC filings. The payment was made to Clinton's organization as state Democratic parties were waiting on $10 million in funding for rebuilding efforts that was initially promised last July.

The DCCC also paid hundreds of thousands to Clinton's "resistance" group for "generic committee list rental" between mid-December and late January.

On Dec. 12, the DCCC disbursed $286,689.34 to Onward Together for the list rentals. In January, two more payments were made to Clinton's group in the amounts of $139,242.20 and $145,882.40 for the rentals.

This wouldn't look so bad had not the DNC been a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Hillary campaign in 2016.
At what point do the Dems finally move on from the Clintons?

I have it on good authority that it's only the republicans who are trying to get that passed. And even if some democrats are going to vote for this bill, it's okay because they come from Red states and they are the best we're going to get from them.

Besides, the article came from the Intercept. This is why one person refused to believe it. "Seriously, your using the Intercept?" Then two people replied with "would you believe the New York Slimes?" and then, "would you believe Warren?" and then included her statement. Further down the diary, he still was ragging on about the Intercept. Sheesh!

@snoopydawg It's sad, yet unsurprising that the rank and file Democrats refuse to consider that their anointed ones would sell them out at the drop of a dollar. Then again, these are the same people who believe they're left-wing when they're just right-of-center Repigs with rainbow flags and pink hats pretending to give a shit about women, gays and minorities when they have no problem bombing them abroad.

during Obama's tenure, they skip over that part and blame it on Trump. I have to laugh at them for their blind obedience to his legacy. It really is hilarious to see them pretzelize their thinking. Homelessness went up 15% from 2010-2017. "Trump is destroying the country!"

That's all. I'm not gonna feed a machine for free so it can earn money to kick seniors and poor people in the ditch, that would be idiotic. "Don't tell me what you believe, show me what you do."

Clinton won CA by four million, or something like that. Quality of life is not a D-Value, apparently.

I would think that the Clintons could have written that off

if they wanted to. After all, no one knows where the foundation money has gone to after they closed the part that she used for donations during her tenure as SOS and up to when she lost. Hmm. I wonder what organization would be looking into this? Enquirering minds and all ...

Does this mean that she is sponsoring the "McRestince" movement and if yes, they don't look like they have accomplished much.
