For those of you pushing the mass shooting conspiracy bullshit, I have a question for you: What would the capitalists have to gain by perpetrating such things? The first answer we always get is 2nd amendment repeal and disarmament to prevent revolution. Bullshit.
In spite of all the mass shootings that have happened over the last 6 years especially, not a god damned thing has been done to repeal it. Quite the opposite, actually. Each and every time mass shootings happen and are publicized by the corp media the gun purveyors and conspiracy nutballs make a fuckin' mint both off of the tragedy they trivialize and the irrational fear of being 'disarmed'. Give me a break.
There's too much money in KEEPING PEOPLE ARMED for disarmament to ever happen. They don't give a shit if the plebs kill each other with their metal dicks because they know fully well that the 'Murican plebs are too stupid and too busy going down the rabbit hole to know who the actual enemy is.
I also have a question for the dumbfucks whining about mass immigration and refugees: What did you expect? If one believes in that, we might not like the questions people are asking or disagree with them on certain things, but we would support their right to question.

we are armed to kill each other, I have little doubt about that anymore. And even if they tried banning every gun tomorrow I don't see how logistically they ever get them all. But they are advocating not only censorship now, but when I read that cops down in Florida were saying they now need access to everyone's FB, Twitter, everything one accesses on the internet to "prevent" these types of mass shootings that scares hell out of me. There are so many things these mass shootings, etc, FEAR generating events can be used for I know I'm not yet seeing just what their plan is. But divide and conquer will be used as always, and when we start down the slope of the "authorities" needing access to every personal detail of our lives (which in reality they already have) as a preventive measure, we're heading right into totalitarian land. Assuming we're not already there, that is.

I wasn't sold on your story for some of the reasons mentioned. I can think of lots of ways TPTB could benefit from school shootings. But the whole "tone" thing seemed like a red herring.
That being said, I don't currently believe any school shooting has been a government conspiracy. If there is such a thing, I haven't seen credible evidence for it. That's one of the conspiracy rabbit holes that I have found previously to be "not productive".
A lot of wanderers in the U.S. political desert recognize that all the duopoly has to offer is a choice of mirages. Come, let us trudge towards empty expanse of sand #1, littered with the bleached bones of Deaniacs and Hope and Changers.
