"Trump is on track to be a record-breaking war criminal"

In October the Orange Monster said, “I totally changed rules of engagement. I totally changed our military.”
He was telling the truth.

For instance, after gutting the already lax regulations on drone strikes and giving the CIA free rein to kill whomever they choose, it took Trump only seven months to surpass the number of civilian deaths that occurred during Obama’s entire eight-year presidency, according to non-profit monitoring group Airwars.
The covert drone war program, first created under George W. Bush, was a key part of the War on Terror whereby terror suspects could be targeted and killed covertly. However, under his presidency, only 57 strikes were conducted in Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen, with between 384 and 807 civilians killed. The program was greatly expanded during the Obama administration, which conducted 563 strikes in those same countries. Now, under Trump, drone strikes targeting these countries have skyrocketed.
... Trump’s drone assassination rate is now eight times that of Obama. Obama’s, in turn, was 10 times that of Bush, making Trump’s drone kill rate a whopping 80 times higher than that of Bush. In other words, Trump is on track to be a record-breaking war criminal.

USA!USA!USA!WE'RE NUMBER ONE!
It's OK because they we all families of terrorists.

It isn't just Iraq and Syria.
Airstrikes are up six fold in Yemen over 2016.

Somalia also wasn't spared.

In five attacks since July, more than 50 civilians appear to have been killed or injured.

But it's all good because we cut aid to Somalia at the same time.

Finally, who can forget Afghanistan?

The U.S. military dropped more bombs in Afghanistan in 2017 than in 2012 when the U,S, military had nearly 100,000 troops on the ground, according to newly released airstrike figures from the Air Force.

The spike in airstrikes began after President Trump took office in late January.

As the war against ISIS winds down in Iraq and Syria, more Air Force jets and drones are being sent to Afghanistan to supply close air-support to U.S. troops moving closer to the front lines.

Yes, the very same drones that killed all those civilians in Syria are now moving to Afghanistan, because we haven't destroyed Afghanistan enough.

Modern education is little more than toeing the line for the capitalist pigs.

Guerrilla Liberalism won't liberate the US or the world from the iron fist of capital.

The Never Again was just another slogan that didn't mean anything. The oppressed have become the oppressors and this country is continuing to do what it has been doing since its inception. That people can say without any hubris that this is the Greatest Country in the world boggles my mind.

I wonder what the people who were over the Nuremberg trials would say if they saw what is still happening? Or were they criminals too and just got to rule over the ones who lost? Probably.

It's not just Trump and his generals who are war criminals, it's everyone who is involved with the bogus war of terror that are war criminals. The ones that fly the drones and make the decision to drop their payloads to the ones who load the planes to the ones who make the bombs and other destructive weapons as well as everyone else who is involved in the heinous act of war.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

Voting is like driving with a toy steering wheel.

@snoopydawg . Those at Nuremberg didn't just rule over those that lost, they installed those that lost to begin with.

@dfarrah
but nope. No way.

Just like they won't be the anti-corruption party, or the restore our civil liberties party, or the medicare for all party.

Some immensely popular ideas just aren't important to the Dems.
