Hey, DMW here, inviting one and all to the 4th randomly scheduled PDX meetup.
Looking forward to seeing faces both old and new.

We will be meeting in the back patio as usual. Unless of course the weather is awful. In order to facilitate easy spotting, I'll be wearing my old digital camo fatigue shirt, in an act of pure, deliberate irony.

We're both getting over colds but it's only Monday! Should be fine in a day or two.
I wish I could go to PDX
but ITH is a dog away, plus two snowstorms. I may start a red cap club at the Cortland NY meetup. For those coming there...

Santa Barbara would be a fine place. I live 70 miles north but travel down 101 is easy. Good SB airport. Lots of meeting places / fine restaurants, etc. PM me if interested.

Fires 15 miles south of Santa Barbara
forced mandatory evacuation to some parts of Carpinteria. Sky is gray here 90 miles north.

I heard a report that said that one of the fires was moving so quickly it could've engulfed all of Central Park in 14 minutes. That's scary shit!
