You can't make this shit up folks.
I make fun of the go team go attitude of dem voters, but I'm guilty too. I unsubscribed to Addicting info and Occupy Democrats not soon after I subscribed to them, because I like to think dems are smart, I couldn't handle that bubble being popped. If you ignore it it doesn't exist was my thinking I guess. Trump is finally doing the right thing for the wrong reasons. The DOJ is attaching conditions to the AT&T Time Warner deal, that include it must sell CNN. I read this news in a tweet from Jake Tapper, then I made the mistake of reading the comments section. Not one person supported that move. Dems were calling Trump a dictator, they had the nerve to call it a threat to free speech, if you can believe that. So here we are, your average dem voter now opposes anti-trust, supports media consolidation, cheerleades neocons and their foreign policy objectives, and touts union busting trade deals. There's no way in hell things will ever get better.

That's a mouthful of truth.
Are they Democrats who are so stupid that the only thing that matters is the color of the team jersey saying it? Or, are all those Dems really Republicans that fled their batshit crazy party and became Democrats?
Every time someone on dkos would embrace another GOP escapee and attack someone on the left, I was convinced the politicians and the people identifying as Democrats were really what was left of the moderate/centrist Democratic Party. Both Bubba and Barry dissed FDR and sucked up to Reagan. It can't just be the leadership.

That said, it's dangerous to trust internet comments as a guide to what "the people" think. I don't ignore what people say online, but I take it with a grain of salt. We all know that the net is riddled with trolls, shills, and sockpuppetry.

The "go team" attitude of dem voters
The Democrats lost more than a thousand legislative seats under Obama and then they lost the Presidency. What would the team-sports equivalent of that be?

Trump is just angling
for a cut out of the deal.
Then the merge will happen. It's just so predictable anymore.

I wish some of the people who think that posting #BernieSoBlack or a scathing rejoinder to Donald Trump on Twitter means they are a "social justice warrior" would present their work to the remaining Black Panthers and ask them what they think of their revolutionary activities.
It's not appropriate for me to call those people out, but it sure as hell is appropriate for actual Black revolutionaries to do so. And my white skin doesn't mean I can't tell the difference between those two categories of work.
I don't mind putting myself under Black people's authority or being a footsoldier in movements they lead; I do mind being led by liars and idiots, conditions which, sadly, are not limited to those with white skin.

Kind of depends on the authority.
I would not cross the street to aid Mme. Brazile and her limited hangout so-called truth telling. OTOH, I do hope Donna Edwards will attain high office. I was looking forward to being able to vote for her in a national election someday.

Oh, God. This is so true:
A national narrative is out there, said Minka in which Bernie Sanders gets credit for electing Chokwe Antar and some talk up their supposed ability to recreate the electoral success of Jackson around the country without the least idea of what underlies it.

I have taken the liberty of cutting & pasting a comment
over at Down with Tyranny on the subject of the NY election because IT NEEDS TO BE READ:
It should now be obvious that Democratic losses last year can all be laid at HER! feet. She was HER!self a terrible candidate, but HER! siphoning off the money needed by down slate elections likely cost the Party many good candidates who would have done a better job than the GOP victors delivered.
NOW are we ready to admit that the DNC-led Party is a lost cause?
Courtesy of one anonymous, wisely so I think.

Any donations I give
this coming election cycle will be directly to individual candidates.
The DNC, DCCC, and the DLC must be bankrupted and driven from existence.
Only then can we seize the name back, Democrat Party.
Should we chose to. I could swing either way.
The New Democrat Party.
The Labor Party.
The Credexit Party.
Or just vote Green again. I'm done with the Establishment Wall Street Globalist New World Order Democrat Party.
I'll give to a Green candidate rather than one of those EWSGNWO Democrats.
The trick will be getting the Tea Party Breitbart Trump Worshiping base to reject the Establishment Wall Street Globalist New World Order Republican Party.
Only then will we have any chance of taking America back and MAGA.
IMHO.
P.S. My use of Make America Great Again is meant to show any RW trolls here that they are not the only ones working to that end.
