A quick review on the Uranium One deal now getting the full court press from Republicans at every level: Investors in Uranium One, a South African–Canadian company, made contributions of over $140 million to the Clinton Foundation. Almost all of that money came from Canadian businessman Frank Giustra. However, those investors, including Giustra, sold out to UrAsia Energy in 2007. The resulting company continued to operate under the name Uranium One. In 2010, the new company under the old name sold a controlling interest to Russia’s state-owned Rosatom. So the Clinton Foundation received money from people who sold a company to someone who sold that company to Russia. Only one of the original investors, Ian Telfer, both remained with the new company and made contributions to the Clinton Foundation. He contributed around $1.3 million. And, even though the Uranium One deal includes about 20 percent of measured reserves, it doesn’t have the right to sell any uranium outside the United States.
And none of it matters. Because Hillary Clinton never had any opportunity to do anything about the deal. At all. Yes, the secretary of state is a member of CFIUS, the group that reviews such deals. But that group is strictly advisory. The vote of that board was unanimously in favor of the sale. If Hillary—who actually didn’t even become personally involved in the deal—had declared her opposition, she would have been overruled 8 to 1. She didn’t have veto power over the deal. She didn’t have approval power over the deal. Attempting to bribe Hillary Clinton to support the sale of Uranium One would be required that everyone involved in the deal was blithering idiot.
Yup.
All of this has been proven false. Yet, one cannot let go of the operative narrative.
But yes, all the Dems are "blithering idiots"...
"And none of it matters"....

Sigh, one of these days they should just link to the memo...
that the Clinton Campaign put out for them to summarize.
Would save us getting it third hand from source to reporter to blogger.

This is the problem and if you can't admit it, I have an trophy to award you.
Not one person has addressed that the FBI was investigating many people who were involved with the deal before Hillary and Obama became involved with the deal.
The ToP bots are saying that republicans are going on another witch hunt against Hillary because they are taking the information seriously.

the comments would be so fun to read. This is why I can't help myself from peaking at the site. I'm usually left astounded by how many people are not only believing the Russian propaganda, but how they refuse to believe anything bad about Herheinous.

Truly stupid...
I can understand how uninformed Dems might not understand how corrupt the Clintons and Dem party are. I don't understand how dailykos members can be so stupid.

He left a few people off this list
John and Tony Podesta's lobbyists group were also involved with Russian businessmen during the election, but just like it was wrong for the Trump campaign members to get opposition research on Hillary from Russian sources, it was okay that Hillary's campaign did the same things.
This is called hypocrisy which many people there refuse to see.

Check your title.
Few remaining posters at Daily Kos posses the self awareness to loose their minds from the shackles of overt propaganda, and the poster of this bizarre rationalization for what is simply a plain old fashioned kickback is not one of those.
Quite the opposite in fact.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
