It doesn't matter that Senator Sanders completely acquiesced to Billary and her fuckin' greedy mob and that he's going along with the Anti-Russia narrative in spite of the overwhelming evidence that the DNC rigged the primary. No. For them, ANY agenda that supports labor, women, people of color and anyone else crushed under foot by the deathbed of capitalism has to die a slow, painful death. Democratic leaders even admitted as much and still the (few) faithful McMarch on.
Meanwhile, the Drumpfkopfs took to Twitter to whine about the latest Wolfenstein trailer..and all because they parodied the Orange Cheeto's jingoistic slogan. Oh, and because the game takes place during an alternate timeline where the Nazis won World War 2.

The Drumpfkopfs have been at this shit for years from so-called Race-Realism to MRA and MGTOW to Gamergate to Star Wars to Doctor Who. They whine and bitch about molehills most sane folks don't give a flying fuck about. Even when they do talk about real issues, they just blame 'feminism' or anything else they don't like. Just like the McResistance.
So I have a modest proposal for both groups: Shut the fuck up. As far as I and many others are concerned, both groups are nothing more than useful idiots to be sacrificed for capitalist politburo.

There are so many things like that
They vote against universal health care and they vote against higher minimum wages and yet they claim to stand for the very groups which would be most helped by those measures. And let's not even get started on "women & children" who happen to live in countries which have defied the world bank or the American government. Those women and children, though they die in the millions, aren't worthy of a moment's thought.
A lot of wanderers in the U.S. political desert recognize that all the duopoly has to offer is a choice of mirages. Come, let us trudge towards empty expanse of sand #1, littered with the bleached bones of Deaniacs and Hope and Changers.

I went trolling DK this morning
The diary was on DiFi not retiring this year even though she will be over 90 at the end of her term.
A "progressive" Latino congressman is running against her and the pie fight began.
One person wrote about how she voted the same way as republicans on most issues and this is why she needs to retire.
Another person said that although she is to the left of Bernie on most issues and just because DiFi voted for the Iraq war, the other wars, the Bush tax cuts (which Obama made permanent), the bank bailout, patriot act and the military commission acts and everything else the republicans vote for, now isn't the time to take the chance of losing any democrats' seats because we are under attack from both Russia and Trump.
If DiFi isn't going to vote for progressive values, then what good is she doing for the democrats and more importantly, us?
This type of thinking is beyond my comprehension. Di is basically a republican wearing democrat clothing. But she's our democrat so don't even think about replacing her.

A billionaire and a current leading politician in the California State Senate. The problem is that only the 2 people who get the highest number of votes in the primaries, regardless of party, are allowed to run in the general election. So if 3 Democrats and other independents and 2 Republicans run in the primary, the general election could easily be a face-off between the 2 Republicans, thanks to the Duopoly.

They have to know how crooked she is and what her husband has done to the post offices and how he got rich from government contracts which is another thing that should be illegal. How many years did congress get away with insider trading? Even though it's supposed to be illegal, does anyone believe that they have stopped doing it?

The Nazis didn't have to surrender, having had enough of them being bailed out of jail to work in industry and government by Paper Clip-ping industrialists, some of whom later went into the US government... no wonder corporate and governmental culture is so pathological...
Edit to add that as far as the Germans being weakened to the point of surrender, that was one example where 'The Russians!!!' essentially actually did do it, beating back and weakening the Nazis at the cost of massive destruction to their country and millions of their lives. Speaking of the Women's March, I was just listening to Nina Turner on this and other issues. Hard to have more admiration and respect for a person who's already earned so much, but it just keeps piling up.
There's so much so horribly wrong with American politics and the propaganda which has fostered so much uglyness, horror and pettiness among society via the promotion of a pathological world-view, but there are people in already in politics - and more ready to run - who could help to begin to put it right, if the moneyed source of the corruption could only be cleared out and free and fair elections achieved.
Despite the horrified rage some examples within this discussion induced in me, people like Bernie and Nina do give me hope for humanity to win over the psychopathic. We just need to hang together, so we don't hang separately.

It looks to me,
at least, as if Nazis have been taking over America since Reagan. At least. Maybe since Truman dropped the bombs on Japan. But, there most certainly are Nazis in Trump's WH, have infiltrated the Repub party, gotten themselves elected. They are about to win WWII (if they haven't already) some 70 + years after the Russians entered Hitler's bunker in 1945.
