but at the risk of being, "that guy" I got a lot of black friends. (I have been called the TWB more than once, lol!) but the idea I get from my friends that I have spoken with, at least here in the south, there is a general level of fear associated with, "the devil you don't know".
POC's have been used as a political lever more than once, and usually to their detriment, and one can hardly blame them for being cautious.
The other is Hillary has spent YEARS reaching out to and making connections with religious leaders amongst the black community, particularly in the south.
While I as an atheist may not have gotten this initially, conversations have led me to believe that many poc's form their political opinions at their religious institutions , just like many others, and Hillary was very strategically smart to utilize this knowledge. (Not to say that I believe she has any internal credibility on this issue as her record can clearly show).
This was, at least for the south, a strong weakness for Sanders, but one that I think he will overcome in the more secular states that are remaining.
Also, I think his answer on the gun question in the debate, while not necessarily in line with popular liberal values was both smart and correct. There is a LARGE hunting and shooting tradition in many of the states that remain, including California and this is going to be another one of those traditional deal breakers that usually stop us from getting the (I) vote go away. They are NOT afraid Sanders is going to "Take their Guns". This is a good thing as most studies have shown that the 2nd amendment is almost as popular amongst democrats and independents as republicans and is an issue that I feel has stopped us from making progress in other areas.
I think Sanders WILL stand for Common sense gun safety requirements that will help build unity again within the pro and anti 2nd amendment sections of a party. It is our only major divide, so lets work on the other problems first, reduce over policing and end the war on drugs and then evaluate what laws we need to change further. At least that is my opinion.

since the vote count is almost the same as the Guardian's which has total vote at 57%....unless CNN thinks it's 67% of the expected total vote while the Guardian is using 57% of the precincts...I guess that's possible.

with the Wayne County votes out, at this rate Hillary would gain 22,600. With the Washtenaw votes out Bernie would gain 5500. Total net gain for Hillary between those two is 17,100. Currently Bernie is ahead by 23,000 so he'd still be up even after Detroit.

I am not sure, I have noticed that CNN has had some
wonky numbers that eventually sync up with the Guardian.
I think its speed over accuracy and then they update when the harder numbers come in where The Guardian and TYT are waiting a bit for the harder numbers
