Hillary's "I Hate Bernie" Tour

Today the most popular politician in America (by far) is introducing a historic health care reform bill that has become the defining progressive issue. Also today, Hillary Clinton is doing everything she can to undermine progressives.

HRCBOOK.jpg

In a new sign of lingering tensions from the 2016 Democratic primary, Hillary Clinton dismissed Sen. Bernie Sanders' call for a single-payer healthcare system in an interview with Vox published Wednesday.
Vox's Ezra Klein asked Clinton, who defeated Sanders to become the Democratic nominee in 2016, what she though of the independent Vermont senator's Medicare-for-all plan, which he is set to release Wednesday.
"Well, I don’t know what the particulars are," Clinton said. "As you might remember, during the campaign he introduced a single-payer bill every year he was in Congress — and when somebody finally read it, he couldn’t explain it and couldn’t really tell people how much it was going to cost."
Clinton also highlighted what she saw as potential flaws in selling such a plan — special interests and public sentiment.

Let's ignore for the moment that she is still lying (Sanders had a detailed plan).
What is significant here isn't the proven facts. What is important is Hillary's utter disdain for progressives.

alking to the former Obama aides who now run the popular “Pod Save America” podcast, Clinton roundly denounced and dismissed not just Sanders's campaign but basically his entire political ethos, suggesting it's overly simplistic and awful for the Democratic Party. And at a time when Sanders's “Medicare for all” proposal just happens to be catching fire among top Democrats, it's difficult not to read this as Clinton's effort to arrest the party's tilting toward Sanders.

Disdain not just for progressives, but for the public in general.

I was running to build on the progress of the prior eight years. I was unapologetic about that. But I also knew the head winds of trying to succeed a two-term president of your own party were pretty intense. I mean, Americans get bored, they get tired, they want a change, they think somebody else can do something better, even though they liked Bill Clinton and they liked Barack Obama. But they want change.

People that didn't support Hillary were bored, like children. It had nothing to do with her elitism.

Amazon wiped the majority of the reviews for her new book. They were all 1-star reviews. The current summed reviews now stand at 5 stars. All the newest reviews are 1-star. One person did a 2-star review to say how loathsome the book is and said she gave 2 stars in the hope it would prevent the deletion of her review.

at TOP for pointing out, Hillary's cultists oppose anything (ANYTHING!) that sounds like it came from Bernie Sanders out of spite. Pure spite. Anything less would be viewed as a betrayal in their circles.

Lots of Bernie supporters hate Hillary because of who she is, what she stands for, and what she has done. Those aren't the reasons Hillary supporters hate Bernie. They hate Bernie because he crossed Hillary. Period. They don't hate Bernie, they hate Bernie back.

They're the most petty, childish group of cult-of-personality worshippers I've ever seen.

@Dopeman
where people state that they will never forgive Bernie for.... running against her, for saying that the DP has let us down, for questioning Hillary's right to get paid for speeches, etc.
Their number one reason for why she lost is because of sexism and misogyny.

I so agree with this comment about Hillary:

Misogyny and sexism had about as much to do with the HRC loss as it did in the 2008 McCain/Palin loss… and as much as racism dampened Obama’s wins in 2008 and 2012. Sexism and racism exist in America. The sexism and misogyny toward Jill Stein was at least as virulent (some of it on display on this site). But there are also excellent and terrible candidates.

Hillary got into power the traditional way women since Nefertiti have achieved power: through connection to a powerful man. Whatever her policy smarts, HRC would never have been elected to Congress on her own. She was the only candidate in my lifetime that wasn’t expected to campaign for votes, but to have been coronated at the convention and walked into her place in history. The excerpts that her team chose to release before her book’s premier just confirms this disconnected sense of entitlement.

The one person who answered this comment wrote:

What sexism toward Jill Stein? She’s disliked here because she is a fucking moron.

She's a moron because of her policies yet we can't say that we don't like Hillary because of her policies.
This is their hypocrisy.

A truth of the nuclear age/climate change: we can no longer have endless war and survive on this planet. Oh sh*t.

Just finished up "Shattered" and even in a book very sympathetic towards Her, you can still see that Her and the sycophants around Her never were even close to a clue. They accuse Sanders of making all these viscous personal attacks without ever addressing the issues at the core (and many of them even agree things like the Wall Street speeches were a bad idea that they tried to talk Her out of.) They claim he had no plans while ignoring or dismissing without countering the ones he had. They keep talking about anger from progressives and have absolutely no idea why people would be angry. They can't even acknowledge the issues. You can almost hear the sputtering indignation from this crowd that one would dare to suggest that we can do better than Her for president. The lack of self-reflection among this lot is almost impressive. I honestly can't imagine what Her thinks a book shitting all over Sanders is going to accomplish now.

There's a reason I don't watch shit like that and most of the ding bats there prove that a very good thing. I did enjoy the remark about Hillary's negatives though, a "pre-existing condition" for damned sure. And really, while its so easy to blame that all on RWNJ this election sure showed that RWNJ was not wrong about HER. She showed us all very clearly just what she really is, but the willfully blind will refuse to see it even as it smacks their heroine in her smug face.

Is this some internal hatred of one's self?
The claim that Herheinous lost to Trump was because she was a woman is just another excuse for her and her shitty campaign.
I don't loathe Her because she's a woman, I loathe Her because of her policies.

Whatever good she did for the Children’s Defense Fund was overshadowed by the policies she and her husband promoted during the 1990s. to the point where Marian Wright Edelman declared she felt betrayed by the Clintons. It is what you do when you have real power that matters — her Iraq War vote, and subsequent promotion of that invasion stands as her biggest lost opportunity for leadership. She hasn't seen a military intervention that she wasn't in favor of.
The final straw was when she laughed and clapped her hands after watching the video of Gaddafi being killed after he was sodomized by a knife or sword. This should have disqualified her from running for anything again.

BTW, I loathe Obama for many of the same reasons. Not because he's half Black.

This sounds so right. It's too bad that Bernie got in the way of her coranation (not) and this is why Hillary and Herbots can't forgive him and his followers.

I have no idea how I found this article, but it removes the masks that Hillary and Bill are wearing.
One of Hillary's beefs with Bernie is that he stayed in the race after it was clear that he couldn't win the primary. IIRC, he did this so that he had some type of leverage at the convention.

Revenge of the PUMAs
The Clintons Have Weaponized Their Following and Have the Future of the Democratic Party in Their Sites

How It Used to Be

The Clintons were the ones that decide “whose turn” it was. They monopolized the Democratic Party. It had been that way since Team Clinton blew into DC from Arkansas leading the Democratic Leadership Council. The Koch-funded and Dixiecrat-lead DLC came in with the express purpose of moving the Democratic Party leadership away from Labor and Civil Rights concerns and into the hands of corporate donors. It worked.

The Clintons held the purse strings; they had the power. If you wanted to rise in the ranks of the Democratic Party, you kissed the ring. The Clinton ring. Leaders and free thinkers were quickly weeded out. Cutthroat loyalists and corporate lobbyists were placed in positions of power within the party. If you weren’t a “team player,” then you were exiled. This arrangement was not a meritocracy by any means. You could continuously lose or fail. None of that mattered, as long as you were loyal. Competence wasn’t even a concern. Fealty to the Clintons and their rightward agenda was the key to fame and fortune.

There is much more to this article about how Hillary's PUMAs went on a rampage after it was clear that she couldn't win the primary.

she realized that she wasn't going to be the nominee and that she refused to see that? I felt embarrassed for her because of that.

One more quote from this article:

The Clintons and the PUMAs let their Dixiecrat flag fly for all to see. They went well beyond dog whistles when it came to the newcomer from Chicago. He was way uppity and would not wait his turn.

Yep. Big dawg whistle.
