She's really looking shrill and shrewish. And the level of her pettiness is really quite ugly. And I'm really starting to wonder about myself. Because I think all her flailing and kvetching is funny.

I mean - really????? She has a personality disorder and it's showing. Are we going through the stages of grief with her? In public?

Here is the grief model we call the 7 Stages of Grief:
SHOCK & DENIAL- You will probably react to learning of the loss with numbed disbelief. ...
PAIN & GUILT- ...
ANGER & BARGAINING- ...
"DEPRESSION", REFLECTION, LONELINESS- ...
THE UPWARD TURN- ...
RECONSTRUCTION & WORKING THROUGH- ...
ACCEPTANCE & HOPE-

After 10 months, we are still in Anger & Bargaining - just wait until Depression, Reflection, and Loneliness kick in! I won't live to see the Upward Turn at this point! Actually, I think she's incapable of an upward turn!

Jeebus - save me! Diablo

She lies only when she moves her lips. . .or writes a book
By Amazon Customer on September 12, 2017
Format: Hardcover

Here's the problem: Clinton is such a thoroughgoing liar that one cannot take anything she says seriously. Her spin on the world is that it's all about the Clintons; they have no rules (see also Kennedys), the world owes them, everyone not in their circle is deficient and inferior, etc. So what is the point in reading her views, since she's looking at the world through pathological eyes? I even doubt she means what she writes; her every move in public life seems to have been to set-up to get or re-gain power--how else to explain (1) putting up w/the Lewinsky episode, and (2) doing her best to destroy the victimized women who were use and abused by her husband? Power, power, power: that's all it's about. She was "entitled" to be president because, well, her husband had power and that got her into the senate and that got her into State. She should take her radical, anti-American, spoiled-brat personality and dive under some polar icecap, and not come up for air. She's a continuing danger to the USA, and the views and thoughts, so inconsistent with reality, expressed in this book--intended only to either gin up her next campaign or, more likely, make her major bucks (since she's probably "broke")--simply reconfirm her tenuous grasp on sanity. If she doesn't get that running against Trump should have been a field day for a decent Dem candidate, and that she lost because she was rightly seen as THAT BAD a human being, THAT DANGEROUS to our great nation, then she's just kidding herself, and her minions are still too scared to introduce her to the real world. What an abominable person; thank the Lord that there were not enough idiots to vote for her.

Can't say I disagree with any of that.

Derisively referring to centrist, establishment, corporate-whore Democrats with terms like "Socialist," "far-left," and "San Francisco values" IS the province of right-wingers, but I can offer no further insight about the reviewer beyond that.

@FutureNow

Well, 'radical' appears to be a popular PR pejorative used by both sides of the corporate Party against anyone who's sick of most people and the planet being drained and poisoned to further enrich and empower the very, very few already having more than they could ever spend and who therefore wants a decent, civilized and sustainable society.

And it's been getting progressively more difficult to tell the difference between the corporate Repubs and corporate Dems merely by buzzwords, which does spread through PR to their adherents.

Previously, the language used would, as you point out, have been an instant 'tell' and I do agree that it sounds Republican in nature, only that indication of pathological corporate cultural PR influence seems to cover both vampiric wings nowadays...

@Ellen North I just found out yesterday that I am part of the "Alt-left" because I support RoseAnn DeMoro and NNU's efforts to recall the CA Assembly leader for failing to allow CA Medicare for All bill to come to the floor. Apparently Anthony Rendon, the guy who blocked SB 562 from coming to the floor for a vote, is considered among Union leaders "100% labor friendly". So now some of labor is pissed at NNU. I guess if labor has their nose bent out of joint because of the recall that's fine, everybody entitled to their opinion. But now to go out and try to smear a fellow labor leader with labeling her as "Alt-left"? I dunno. To me this just confirms that the 99% (we) are in big trouble if we can't get it together.

Hillary's PUMA

This was my favorite part:

Hillary just can’t believe that anyone could possibly think that taking that money from Wall Street would change her positions. She is absolutely correct because she already agrees with the fundamental premises that allow Wall Street to flourish at our expense. The Clintons deregulated Wall Street with great passion. They saw nothing wrong with helping big banks, hedge funds and private equity companies grow even bigger and more reckless. Instead they viewed Wall Street as a major engine of prosperity for America. Even the great crash of 2007-08 didn’t really change their perceptions.

The woman in the top row certainly looks more glamourous on the right, but I would not say that she looks any more attractive. She has abundant natural beauty, with her angular features, friendly eyes, and fresh, cheery smile. If I were at a social function with Left Top Woman at one end of the bar, and Right Top Woman at the other, I would initially be more interested in Left Top Woman, without a doubt.

…that Trump enjoyed at that time. It was very crazy. Every day, for months-on-end some notable pundit would declare Trump to be "toast." He was never toast.

The passage below really reflects how I remember the Clinton's role in all this. After she won the primary, Trump was the only thing she wanted to talk about. It was the first time I had seen an issue-free election.

A Democrat, Hillary Clinton began by meddling in the Republican primaries, with disastrous results.

In the DNC/Clinton emails released by Wikileaks and not denied by any of the people involved, the Clinton campaign described its “Pied Piper Strategy” of nurturing extreme Republican right-wingers, the “pied pipers,” who by inciting the white nationalists and other haters, would terrify saner people thus increasing Hillary’s chances of winning. Hillary deliberately raised such Republican extremists as Ben Carson, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump to “leaders of the pack” by speaking of them in her own interviews as though they were the frontrunners. She instructed cooperative corporate media to “take them seriously.” The most promising “cudgel" who would move the more established candidates further to the right was Trump.

Trump called his golf buddy Bill Clinton to discuss running. Bill returned the calls a month after Hillary declared. According to people who heard both sides of the conversation, Bill was very encouraging about Trump’s plans for the country. The Clinton Camp judged that Trump would “attract all the worst Republican crazies” and that Hillary would sound like the voice of reason by comparison. With extraordinary media control, it was Hillary who engineered much of the constant, free broadcast, early-media coverage that Trump received — a gift worth two billion dollars.

I remember Debbie from "The Sane Progressive" point out how CNN ran coverage during the primaries that had their cameras focused on an EMPTY airport tarmac for 30 minutes waiting for Trumps plane to arrive at same time Bernie was holding a bust out rally with thousands of young people attending.

When I pointed out to friends who urged me to vote for Hillary to save our country from the unthinkable destruction that would fall upon us if he were elected that the "Pied Piper" strategy memo came straight from the DNC (i.e., HRC) to senior executives of "progressive" media outlets which instructed them to, as your quote states, take Cruz and Trump candidacy "seriously", they just couldn't wrap their heads around the gobsmacking duplicity being perpetrated on them. And so, the Pied Piper" strategy memo was dismissed in their minds as "Fake News"

The real irony here for me is when you take into consideration that the estimated free advertising given to Trump fell in the in the range of $2 billion, it seems "odd" that Hillary is blaming media outlets for following her instructions, don't it?

Fascinating journey inside the mind of a delusional politician who's quest for power ends in humiliating defeat. This book really brings you into a world of narcissism and complacency at its finest. The author seems to relinquish any accountability for her loss during the presidential race and blames everyone from her own party, all races of people, the former fbi director, the former president, her primary competitor, sexism, Russian interference, wiki leaks, hacking, etc the list goes on. Reading this book will definitely make you question your own notion of collective societies moral compass and basic understanding of practical logic. In the end this read was a positive experience in one way as it made me realize what trouble the Constitution and the country collectively would have been in if this self-serving monster was able to grab power.

If somehow he had managed to win the nomination, even with everything you did to try to stop him, do you think he would be blaming you had he lost to Trump?

That is not a name that I would have used. Was there a winner in that story? I would say no. The pied piper? After his act of revenge, none of the other towns would have hired him. And that poor lame kid. Half the town would have blamed him for not stopping the other kids, while the other half would have stuffed him with far too many pies and sweets. There are lessons there, but I'm not sure I understand them all. Robert Browning poems are useful for starting lively discussions, not ending them.

Cant Stop the Macedonian Signal's picture

@jabney Well, I think the implication is that the Piper was a fey being. That's why his flute could control the rats (and the kids), and open up a door into a magic mountain. So he doesn't need to be hired in the sense you or I would; the problem is that, if you make a bargain with such a being, you'd better keep it.

As for the lame boy, yeah, I think his fate pretty much sucked. Of course, that depends on whether you think the Pied Piper was leading the kids to death, rather than to a magic realm, or magically through a mountain to another mortal country, where they settled and lived normal lives (all of which I've heard). But if the Piper taking away the rats and the kids was a metaphor for the plague coming with rats and not leaving till most of the kids were dead, then I guess the lame boy is the lucky one.

@jabney I don't think Hillary and her peeps thought very deeply about this story--probably the image of the Piper leading the children off to a possibly grim end was the only thing they were thinking about--but the fact is, the Piper isn't the bad guy in this story. The townsfolk are. They broke their word because they were too greedy to pay him.

Which makes it particularly inappropriate for Trump.
