Because holy crap it reads like something from Markos Moulitsas, Peter Daou, Joan Walsh, Sally Albright, Jamelle Bouie, Neera Tanden, or any other neoliberal drones running around in the blogosphere. But this time it's from the Borg Queen Herself.
HRC either buys all of this ridiculousness or she's playing a massive con on a lot of people. Or hell, maybe both. Either way, there are loads of people who believe everything on that page unflinchingly. Like a twisted gospel of even more twisted logic. And now we have a new dogma to fight against.
Also, in the back of my mind: Why do I have the horrible feeling that HRC is going to run again in 2020, even with her 2.0 version Kamala Harris ready to deploy?
@cybrestrike
Not only has she lived her whole life in the bubble, but or the rare occasions it gets through to her how disliked she is, she genuinely seems to have no possible concept of why people might not like her. Like she's absolutely mystified by the concept. She's every bit the narcissist Trump is, she's just less flamboyant about it.
Oh and I absolutely believe she'll run again, as long as they can make her look reasonably healthy in 2020. I think they're rolling out Booker, Harris, etc. as a hedge in case she is incapacitated between now and then. But if the Queen wants a third run, I don't see anyone stopping her.

Idolizing a politician is like believing the stripper really likes you.
That we don't like her. She is contemptuous of us because we didn't fall in line and because we fought back. She is angry and in disbelief that she lost to Das Pumpkinfuhrer. Her "book" is just a manifestation of her fury.
So, like they say over at the insane asylum: Enjoy those tears because they're mighty delicious!

Then 'O' came along, and reversed the law--just in time to make sure that GWB would not lost his SS protection. That was probably the only thing that WJC ever did that I agreed with, BTW. These people know no bounds when it comes to generosity to them and theirs!
(BTW, like her or not, at least Barbara Bush dismissed her personal Secret Service protection immediately following WJC's inauguration. Don't know about GHWB, though.)
Don't believe there's any doubt that FSC is positioning herself for 2020. Her book was written in order to attempt to justify her loss to Trump--as always, placing the blame on others, including Bernie. Without doing so, she risks being a laughingstock if she were to announce a third run.

If the smart money gets to decide, it's gonna be Harris/Sanders, with a completely cowed and beaten Bernie lending credibility to Kamala. But even the smart money might not be completely comfortable with Bernie a heartbeat away from the Presidency.

Really the question is why did the establishment choose Hillary the second time, when they obviously knew she was politically damaged goods?
My two guesses: some foreign interest, like the Saudis or the Israelis, insisted upon it
or
they were very sure of themselves and playing for all the chips, in the sense that if they could get America to accept corrupt, lying, cheating, warmongering, authoritarian Wall St Hillary as the good guy vs Trump's racist rodeo clown bad guy, they would have well and truly won both the culture war and the war over the human political imagination.
Unfortunately, their gamble didn't pay off. Yet.

It's all speculation, but here's what I think.
I assume there were people hacking the election on both sides, though I doubt any of them were Russian. If any were Russian, I doubt strongly that they were affiliated with the Russian government.
We know from the primary that Hillary has no compunction about cheating. Further, she has a strong relationship with the Bushes, who are very good at election fraud. (Jeb Bush bailed out her campaign by hooking her up with his donors in April 2016, when Bernie Sanders' strong run was exhausting her campaign funds--not her PAC or SUPERPAC funds, but you have to have something in the official campaign coffers, and she was having trouble. Sharing your donors is about as intimate a gesture as a politician can make, so to me that's a clear sign that the Bushes are backing her. Therefore, she would logically have access to all the Bushes' election fraud resources--experts, software, etc.)
I think, with these resources and the media machine working 24/7 for her, they were all pretty confident of the result.
I suspect they found themselves countered by hackers who may not have been affiliated with Trump except in the sense that they personally supported him. In other words, they were indies, outside of his political machine, doing it because they liked him or hated Hill or both. And, whoops! the hackers against Hillary ended up being better than the hackers for her. I think they wouldn't be part of Trump's machine because I'm assuming that Hillary et al were scouting his political operation as much as they could the entire time, and they would have access to both all the Clinton machine's information-gathering resources and the Bush machine's as well. It could be that Trump or someone working for him managed to bury the connection deep, but they don't strike me as being that deft.
There's also the possibility that part of the intelligence community played on the other side. Weirdly enough, although the CIA, NSA et al back Hillary, some of the individual intelligence operatives evidently hate her. I got this from somebody who works in digital security, so doesn't work in intelligence themselves, but does work with people in intelligence fairly often. Apparently Hillary's arrogant disregard for procedure drives them crazy. So part of the Deep State may have switched sides. If this happened, it would be likely that the people in question would know about any pro-Hillary hacking attempts that the Deep State was intending to do. Therefore, they would have a good idea how to counterattack and get the result they want.
Those are just my noodlings. It's what I've come up with as the most likely scenarios.

It is frustrating when I have, well, not enough data, but I try to take the data I have and arrange it in a variety of patterns, and then I try to decide which one seems most logical.
One of the things I like about this site is that ten people don't jump down my throat screaming "Conspiracy theorist!" every time I field a hypothesis.
Other places apparently don't recognize anything between proven fact and wild-eyed ravings.

It's as if the entire media landscape has gone all topsy-turvey. Fact (if you can find it) has become overwhelmed by outlandish fantasies, some of which are turning out to be true. Others of which are pure psyops and propaganda. Unfortunately the legacy media leaders, NYT and Wapo, have been so infiltrated by CIA and other special interests, as to have become thoroughly unreliable. Informed and intelligent speculations such as yours are now absolutely essential. Always keeping in mind however, my old friend Claude's dictum and sig line from TOP... "Don't always believe what you think."

Well, right. There's a difference between logical speculation and proven fact. And also a difference, generally speaking, between evidence and proof (in other words, evidence does not necessarily imply proof, though proof always must rest on evidence).
Confusing one's hypothesis with truth is something everybody needs to guard against. I had that drilled into my head through college and grad school.
I'm going to write an essay on this at some point, depending on the storm and what it does. It will be the third of my essays about race and propaganda (hopefully also the final one).
It's very weird to me that ultimately, the issues that will decide the fate of the human race are the ones Dorothy Sayers dealt with in Gaudy Night. I don't agree with all of her views--she is not good on class, and she has a cultural prejudice against Americans which has nothing to do with a just critique of our politics or history--but her essential thesis in the book is sound. One must be dedicated to the accurate truth, no matter what comes of it. That is not to say that, when people get hurt by the truth, one should not do everything possible to improve those people's lot. And I wouldn't have been quite as harsh, perhaps, in the public shaming of the man who knowingly published a thesis he knew to be false in order to get his degree. I would probably have cut a deal with him: publish a retraction, get your book pulled from the shelves, and I will arrange for you to have a quiet tutoring job somewhere so you can support your family, and we will do all we can to minimize the publicity. That is less fiercely dedicated to truth than perhaps I should be, but that's where I come down between kindness and accuracy.
Her concerns in that book have turned out to be the most important concerns in the world.

What was the title of the book she released during the campaign? The comments were uproariously hilarious in the reviews. Better, it hardly registered in sales.

is because the book hasn't been released yet. It's not available to buy until next Tuesday. They always start allowing reviews to be posted only after a book is released. It's not censorship. Just look again next Tuesday, there will be plenty of customer reviews. Should be fun (for people who enjoy the sport).
We would propose a bold infrastructure plan or an ambitious new apprenticeship program for young people, and then Bernie would announce basically the same thing, but bigger.

and believe it's true. This article about her book is actually quite funny because just like Hillary won't accept that she lost the election because of who she is and for what she's done, this writer too blames everyone except Herheinous.
The reaction in many quarters to Hillary Clinton’s reflective, candid assessment in her book, What Happened, of her devastating loss to Trump tells a lot about why she lost. She’s still being raked over the coals. She’s still called too guarded, not honest enough, too stiff, and even “robotic.” This fits in with the almost set-in-stone depiction of Clinton as cold, aloof, and totally unable to connect with real people.
In truth, Clinton doesn’t shrink from frank, straight-talk criticism of her and the campaign’s missteps, spiced with important insights into what could and should have been done different. These are the kind of precious insights that are anything but woulda-coulda apologetics from a sore loser. They offer much of value for Democratic candidates and incumbents in what will be a bruising mid-term election in 2018, with much at stake for the Democratic Party desperate to put a dent in the GOP’s number. This is their only hope to check Trump and the GOP’s drive to roll back the 20th century.
The real answer to what happened to Clinton in 2016 won’t be found in her book. You’d have to go back more than a decade, when the GOP took dead aim at then Senator Clinton as a potential presidential contender. Their plan was pretty simple. It entailed digging up every scintilla of old and new dirt it could dredge up against her to torpedo her candidacy even before officially took off. The dirt were videos that continually harped on the old trumped up Clinton scandals from Bill’s days in the White House, from Whitewater to the Lewinsky scandal, to her support for health care reform, which was the prelude to the much-harangued Affordable Care Act. They then doubled down by mocking Clinton’s finances, allegedly outrageous speaking fees, and painting the Clinton Foundation as almost a RICO-style racket.
He goes on and on about how everything that Hillary has done since she and Bill started in politics wasn't her fault.
The republicans didn't make up any of the scandals that the Clintons were involved in, the Clintons did those things.
I think that the only scandal that involved them that wasn't brought up was their involvement and friendship with Jeff Epstein who used to host sex parties at his apartment, on his jet and his private island. He had underaged girls at all 3 of those places and he was finally arrested for being a pedophile. Instead of spending years in prison, he made a plea deal with the prosecutors. In return for only spending 13 months in prison, he was sentenced to 13 months. The deal he made? He wouldn't name who else was at his parties.
Bill often ditched his security details and he flew with Jeffrey 26 times. Herheinous also went to all 3 places.
He did have to register as a sex offender.
You can tell a lot about people by the company they keep.
favorite. She is absolutely delusional.
We would propose a bold infrastructure plan or an ambitious new apprenticeship program for young people, and then Bernie would announce basically the same thing, but bigger.
That's exactly the opposite of what happened. All she kept doing through the whole primary was watering down Bernie's ideas and presenting them as her own.
His ideas were unrealistic fantasies but her watered down versions of his ideas were thoughtful and pragmatic.
Her cult is lapping this up. Drag him. #rekt. Or do they file it next to OJ's "If I Did It" book in the "delusional memoir" section? This stuff used to make my blood boil, but I guess I'm just numb to it now as it's so common. My only real questions are how much of the book does she spend shitting on Sanders/Bernie Bros.? and does she take responsibility for anything of consequence at all?
If anyone (I'm looking at you, Bernie) needs any further proof the Democrats have no interest in changing anything ever, just the two pages posted in this essay should make that case loud and clear.

And that postulated 3rd run's a guaranteed disaster for us all, since Homeland Security can now assure Her that Her really doesn't need anyone's vote this time, just some smidge of plausibility to prevent the peasants from outright revolting in revulsion, so to speak.
#5.1#5.1 History repeated itself but Her first run was comedy (vs. Obama) and the second one was a tragedy.

When I finally challenged Bernie during a debate to name a single time I changed a position or a vote because of a financial contribution he couldn't come up with anything.
Note: "finally". Note: If one is maintaining a corrupt position before execution, then one has not "changed" merely fulfilling the promise for $$$ received. Yes?
Bern was probably stunned into silence by the hubris. I would be.
Hilarity ensues.
Many others have documented the shit out of foreign contributions to the fg Clinton Foundation, Bill boy speech fees and what about that damn Russian/Ruskie Banks/Big Dog kisses/Canadian oligarch/Uranium thingee..

It's no surprise to me that Clinton is still whining, pointing fingers of blame, and spreading vile, delusional lies and slander of Bernie and his supporters. Honestly, I expected nothing better from her stupid book, and they couldn't pay me enough to read it; what a waste of time and trees.
But I do wonder sometimes, how much of her shit is Bernie willing to eat? Will this nasty steaming pile be the final straw, to finally make him say enough is enough? Doubtful, but can only hope. She thinks he set out to damage the dem party? If only! I sincerely wish he would finally do just that, and really go for their throat. I know, in my dreams.
pay attention to them? Answer: continue to ignore bad behavior as paying attention only reinforces it.

that the Clintons continue to wield a great deal of power.
It is also probable that foreign entities also tend to wield power over the Clintons.
A lot of blackmail going on. I'm ready for all the chaos that ensues when the house comes tumbling down. And I assume fear of chaos is the thumb in the dam, at this point. At least, I can hope so and be called an infernal optimist.
The American people are desperate for a tiny taste of justice. And they aren't getting it from Charlottesville, Tsarnov brothers or any of their other conjurations. We want real justice, and that means a fissure in the dam.
We aren't ready.

My suspicion is that it's borrowed power, from corporate interest/billionaire paymasters who have a use for the Clintons ruthlessly venal pathology. They'll do anything for a good chunk of money.

" In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry, and is generally considered to have been a bad move. -- Douglas Adams, The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy "
Our local TV station just posted a story about this, and the comments are priceless - even from those who profess not to be Bernie Sanders fans. Suffice it to say, Herself is not getting any love.
Lemme get this straight. Her policy plans were / are incremental, "Let them eat stale cake crumbs if they can find a magnifying glass strong enough to see them." along with standard Democratic, "We won't actively try to take away the civil, reproductive, and racial rights you fought and bled for (unless they might cost us a big fat check from Big War, Big Insurance and Pharma, or Big Privatized Prison /Modern-Day Slavery, then you're on you're own, but platitudes and fake concern: You haven't seen anything like ours. El Trumpo only thinks his cynical conman bullshit is fresh. Ours is epic!"
Then, Bernie starts putting out his policies and plans with details following, which are sound, doable plans, and, anyway, unlike her, he is open to real work to make them happen as is witnessed by his years in Congress doing just that without caring about getting a lot of credit and attention for it, just doing the work.
So, she promptly steals all of them with quite a bit of watering down and lecturing about pragmatism and ass-kissing to "moderate Republicans" and other middle-of-the-road voter species that may or may not actually exist. (If they did / do, then why didn't they vote for her in significant numbers enough to, I don't know, actually win against old Trumplestiltskin?)
Now, she's saying that Bernie's ideas were so wackadoo that any idiot could see they would never work, but still somehow her piss-watered-down stolen versions were brilliant, but she still didn't win, and it's all old Wackadoo Bernie and his meanie voters' fault that she didn't get to be queen? Well, fuck me, that's hilarious.
Edited to add the apostrophe that makes Bernie's meanie voters own their fault./s

It's unbelievable that with this farce of a book, she has fallen to even lower depths of pettiness, vindictiveness and sheer ugly entitlement. Didn't think it was possible to go any lower. But of course Her Heinous found a way.
More than a laughingstock, Her needs to be held up as the poster girl for everything wrong about politics in America. Her sense of entitlement and unending hubris gave us Drumpf. Her, and her sycophant cabal, Yes Men minions and the DNC elite rulers deserve all the blame. #StrongerTogether. They are the very worst kinds of people inhabiting this world.

I figured she would blame Sanders at some point. She just saved it for the book. Problem is I never intended to vote for her. I didn't in 2008 and wasn't going to in 2016. It would have been any other Democratic candidate other than her. I didn't want the Clintons anywhere near the White House again. Where is her blame for husband, Bill Clinton? I think two of the biggest things that took her down was NAFTA (Bill's doing) and her "basket of deplorables" comment. People didn't see her as any different from Bill and maybe even worse.
I might have to write a letter to the editor to state my 2008 and 2016 intent not to vote for her very plainly. She can blame everything under the sun all she wants, some Independents and even a percentage of Democrats were never going to vote for her. I can only assume on how hell bent she is on blame that she would blame ANY Democratic candidate that opposed her in the primary. If Sanders hadn't taken hold with voters it would have been O'Malley. He was none too happy with the debate process either.
talk about being tone deaf. His economic policies brought us nafta and bank deregulation which set us up for the world wide economic crash during Bush's presidency.
I wonder if Greenspan could have changed what happened if he wanted to. The housing bubble happened on his watch, but did anyone know what the banks were doing behind the scenes?
Hopefully someone can answer this for me.
I thought it was the Russians and Comey to blame.

What where the worst 3 decisions passed by both Congress and the President in the past 25 years? It's almost a guarantee that Hillary literally spoke on behalf of the wrong side of the issue since she was vocally of the wrong side on near every issue (NAFTA, the Telecom regulation, the Crime Bill, the Patriot Act, Cluster Bombs, the Iraq War. The only that I could see arguing away is Glass-Steagall) and giving bad reasons she supported them to boot in the cases where it mattered.
I sure wasn't going to vote for that, although I think I actually voted for her in 2008 because I thought her win was inevitable.

How about sitting on her hands with the other Democrats--except for Barbara Boxer--in 2004, when Bush and pals stole the election again? By defrauding Black people out of their votes--again!
But she's Black people's best friend, yes, she is.

Poor dear Hillary. Her Party was so well planned. If it hadn't been absolutely ruined by those evil Russians, and by that conniving Socialist who didn't even have an invitation. It would have been such a nice Party. All the best people would have been there - the Obamas, the Pelosis, the Pritzgers, the Schumers, and oh, just everybody who's anybody. Even Henry Kissinger was going to come! We'd have had the best Party that money can buy, until all those deplorable people went and spoiled it. What a shame.
Hey, don't forget that the DNC let Her down and never gave Her anything - and do not remember the deal where Hillary got money purportedly collected by various States for local candidates but instead funneled to a joint DNC/Hillary account, because there's nothing to see there, move along.
It was everyone's fault, except Hillary's.

very close to the truth. Also I agree that the IC as a whole was not unanimously supportive of Clinton, though its leadership certainly was. Especially John Brennan... thank goodness at least he is gone.

Bernie was wrong for attacking the Democratic Party-- the party that brought us social security under Roosevelt.
Hillary, why didn't you tell your supporters that Bill tried to privatize it during his second term and had an agreement with Newt about it?
Thank Dawg he couldn't keep his pants on. The only reason he didn't do it was because of the Monica Lewinsky affair. You remember that affair don't you Hillary? This was during the time when he went on national TV and told the nation that "he didn't have sex with that woman.
This is why you lost to the worst candidate in the history of this country. You can't stop lying to us.
You lied about dodging sniper fire, about not supporting the TPP, fracking and about countless other things.
The one time you didn't lie to us is when you said that universal health care will never, ever happen in this country.
Slither back into your beloved woods. This country is tired of you and your third way bullshit.
You and Bill did enough damage to this country during his tenure.

(Does anyone know how that works with people who have no conscience?) Her wouldn't even let Nina Turner participate in the nominating process.
And another thing, how could Her have known that there would still be piss from the convention dribbling off Bernie's chin when he went out stumping for her. It made him seem less committed to Her cause, or maybe just in need of being committed.
Her selection of Tim Kaine is proof that the most progressive platform in Democratic history wasn't worth the the drive space it was recorded on. She couldn't resist that one last kick in the groin. If Her had selected Sherrod Brown as the VP candidate Her would be president today.

Poor Hillary. Nobody ever had troubles like hers. Cruz called Trump a pathological liar and Trump still let him stand at the convention podium and tell people to vote their consciences.

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
@FuturePassed
Is it even true that it was the "most progressive?"
I doubt very much it was more progressive than the platform in 1932.

I can't take anymore Hillary Clinton! There is more bullshit in that one page than there is at a cattle feedlot. Jesus H Christ on a pogo stick, why won't she just go away??
Hillary and Bernie had so many agreements on policies! They were almost perfectly aligned once Hillary abandoned her positions and co-opted Bernie's. And I see she managed to throw another ding at the fictitious, sexist and all powerful Bernie Bros. And that mean Bernie whose attacks "paved the way for Trumps "Crooked Hillary" campaign? Seriously? You dimwitted bulb! You actually wrote that? None of your previous crooked behavior played any role in that? It was all Bernie's fault? You are so damned clueless it's embarrassing!
And of course, when Hill's talking about Bernie, you can't go a moment without noting that he isn't even a Democrat!!! No shit? The woman is fucking brilliant!!! I wonder where she gained the insight the Bernie isn't a Democrat? Could it be his 45 years of public service where he called himself an independent?
And this genius woman acknowledges that Bernie was right, "we should focus more on working families", to which I respond, who would have guessed? And, that "there's always the danger of spending too much time courting donors"? This coming from the woman who wouldn't hold a press conference for 6 months and did nothing but court donors non-stop for 2 fucking years as she lost the presidency? She truly does blame everyone but her loathsome self!
And last, but surely not the least disgusting portion of this steaming pile of bullshit, is her claim that Sander's attacks, "caused lasting damage, and made it harder to unify progressives to come together in the general election"? Sorry, I just threw up a little! I think that passage my have damaged my brain stem! Nothing says unity like telling progressives to fuck off, and saying things like, "I don't need your votes" That mean old Bernie!!! He caused me to lose!! I had all the money!! I had all the donors!!! It was MY TURN!!! And he ruined it all!!! I'm melting!!!
Okay, now don't get me wrong! As much as I truly despise Hillary Clinton and damn near everything she believes in(not the bullshit she spews in front of a camera, but her real feelings) I would still take this despicable, disgusting, lying, donor appeasing, self aggrandizing victim of Bernie Sanders over Donald Trump any day of the week. Lest anyone get confused about that, yes I would greatly prefer Hillary were president instead of Donald Trump! That however, is a bar set so low that an earthworm would have trouble getting under it. Compared to Donald Trump, Saddam Hussein even looks like a better choice!
What will it take to get this woman to go away? She's like an aggressive STD that you just can't get rid of!
One of my greatest fears, aside from someone forcing me to sit down and read her entire book, which would surely cause me to have a stoke and fall over dead before completing 10 pages, is that she may actually succeed in convincing herself that her catastrophic loss was solely the result of others and that if she just runs again it will definitely be "HER TURN!!" I think I'm going to throw up again! I need a fucking drink!

Remember when she was marching in some type of parade and she roped members of the press so they couldn't talk to her?
And instead of campaigning in the states that she lost, she kept going to fundraisers given by rich people, celebrities and other ones where the little people weren't invited. She even had a white noise machine that kept anyone on the outside from hearing what she said?
This is how out of touch she was.

@snoopydawg
I've spent the last 7 months a little shell shocked from what's happened since Trump became president. I expected it would be bad, but I really had no idea it was going to turn into this!
The last 3 weeks I was travelling to Bangkok to get my passport renewed and to exit Malaysia so I could get my Visa renewed. I was worried about the passport as I fully expect Trump and the GOP to shutdown the government, or worse, destroy it completely. I had more than year left, but didn't want to find myself scrambling with a dysfunctional government at the last minute. Now, with new passport in hand, this should be the last interaction I ever have with what used to be the government of the United States. I should be dead before I need to renew it again.
I really fear any time I have to deal with the US Government. I have never felt that way with any of the government officials of the 40+ other countries I've visited. If you ever visited a US embassy, you are immediately intimidated by the 50 pound doors at the entrance. They look like regular doors until you grab the handle and try to open them. Then you realize you probably couldn't drive a tank through them. Once inside, you might as well be locked in a prison. If they decide they don't want to let you leave, you're not going anywhere. Once inside, as a US citizen, it's hard to forget that your country represents 5% of the worlds population but houses 25% of the worlds prisoners. I fear nothing more than my own government particularly now that there is a madman in charge. I may have 1st amendment rights, but that doesn't mean they won't arrest and detain me for something I've written on a blog somewhere.
While the passport was being processed, we land traveled to Laos. The embassy said it would take about 2 weeks to get the passport, so I was a little shocked and nervous when I received a email that said my passport was ready to pick up after 6 days. That seemed way too fast to get a passport made and returned from the US. I told my wife I thought it was a setup! Fortunately, it wasn't but, how sick is it that a citizen should have so much fear of their own government?
Laos is an interesting country with friendly people and I learned a few things while I was there. Laos is the most bombed country in the world. Guess who dropped most of them? Of course, those that remember the Vietnam days, knows that our government told the citizens of the US that we were never in Laos! Of course we now know that was bullshit, but I don't think I fully understood the scope of their lying!
We visited this little place in the center of the country named Vang Vieng. It's been made famous by backpackers for it's drug and alcohol induced deaths but has some spectacular scenery from the surrounding mountains. There is also an abandoned paved airstrip running through the middle of the town? Want to guess who built it? A little research confirmed that, yes indeed, the US military built this airstrip during the Vietnam war in a country where we never entered or waged war. It was better known back then as Lima 6 and it sure as hell wasn't built for humanitarian purposes.
But to answer your question more directly, yes I've been having fun in a sick sort of way. Watching the destruction of everything our country once stood for at the tiny hands of a crazed madman while learning more about the atrocities committed by other deranged leaders in our past. I'm finally reaching the age where I'm becoming glad I won't be around too much longer to watch this never ending shit show that is conducted in my name.
I am hoping that I live long enough to see our latest madman removed from office by whatever means is necessary. And yes, in this case, I'll accept it no matter how it occurs. I'd still like to see the GOP stand up and remove Trump through the constitutional methods of impeachment or the 25th amendment, but I've come to realize that is probably not going to happen. Now, I'm actually hoping that the military will stand up, honor their oath to defend the country against all enemies, foreign and domestic and remove Trump from office and call for new elections. This seems to be a better alternative than watching the country fall into a bloody civil war. The right wing nut jobs wont be so quick to use their 2nd amendment rights to go after the military if they take him out of power. Hopefully, they'll do it rather than let him start a WWIII by dropping a nuclear bomb on North Korea.
I am so damn thankful I no longer live in the US! I'll try and find time to post a little more often!

That will NOT be an improvement! Pence is a latter-day Nehemiah Scudder (Heinlein fans know what I'm saying).
If you (generic you) somehow manage to remove Trump and Pence, you get Lyin' Ryan, which still won't be an improvement.
Right now we're stuck in a No-Win Scenario, and will be there until at least 2018, maybe a whole lot longer.

the military steps in and removes Trump from office and calls for new elections. I've pent a lot of time thinking about this and impeachment or the 25th gets us more of the same illegitimate governance. Letting Trump start a civil war and pit neighbor vs. neighbor against each other will destroy the country. At this point, a military intervention and a call for new elections would be the least destructive method of dealing with this problem.
Impeachment or using the 25th will lead the right wing nut jobs to a violent civil war. The nut jobs won't be so quick to exercise their 2nd amendment rights if the full force of the US military are the ones that remove him from office. And I seriously doubt we can wait until 2018 in the hope that the democrats can take over and remove all of them. I don't think we have that long. Yep, sad to say, but it's time for a military coup. We're on uncharted ground now!

Is that for real?
I think she genuinely believes it.
It's a pathology beyond not "understanding"
That we don't like her. She is contemptuous of us because we didn't fall in line and because we fought back. She is angry and in disbelief that she lost to Das Pumpkinfuhrer. Her "book" is just a manifestation of her fury.
So, like they say over at the insane asylum: Enjoy those tears because they're mighty delicious!

Hillary excels at blaming others
She'll never realize that it's a big reason why she lost.
Sadly that's for real. The two-time loser
Blames everyone but herself. And they had NOTHING in common. Until she started copying his platform, that is.
And that horrible feeling you have? A lot is us have it.

FSC told a convention of auto dealers that she hadn't
driven a car since 1996! I've often wondered why none of her contenders mentioned this factoid--talk about 'living in a bubble.' Not to mention the unjustifiable cost to American taxpayers.
WJC restricted Secret Service protection to 10 years post-Presidency--exempting himself, of course.

@cybrestrike Really the question is
My two guesses: some foreign interest, like the Saudis or the Israelis, insisted upon it
or
they were very sure of themselves and playing for all the chips, in the sense that if they could get America to accept corrupt, lying, cheating, warmongering, authoritarian Wall St Hillary as the good guy vs Trump's racist rodeo clown bad guy, they would have well and truly won both the culture war and the war over the human political imagination.
Unfortunately, their gamble didn't pay off. Yet.

You mean, such as billionaire media mogul Saim Haban, long one of both the DNC's and Hillary's largest donors, whose stated imperatives cover Israel over all and President Hillary, the latter promising, in a speech at Brookings Institute published by The Intercept, to place Israels interests over those of her own country's if she could only be President? Along with a phenomenal amount of other taxpayer resources...

Hillary had paid all her dues,
pledged allegiance to Wall Street, the MIC and the Israel lobby, kissed all the right rings, had the full backing of the intelligence community, all the media giants in her corner, tons of ready cash... and she lost anyway!
Nobody could believe it, least of all Hillary herself. What Happened???... Indeed, what did. I doubt that anyone knows for sure and people are still arguing about it, but obviously poor Hillary doesn't have a clue.
native
@native It's all speculation,
I assume there were people hacking the election on both sides, though I doubt any of them were Russian.

I know what you mean.
"Don't always believe what you think."
native
@native Well, right.

They are the type of people who will read this crap
and believe it's true. This article about her book is actually quite funny because just like Hillary won't accept that she lost the election because of who she is and for what she's done, this writer too blames everyone except Herheinous.
Hillary Need Not Apologize For What Happened

My only real questions are how much of the book does she spend shitting on Sanders/Bernie Bros.? and does she take responsibility for anything of consequence at all?

LOL.
Our local TV station just posted a story about this, and the comments are priceless - even from those who profess not to be Bernie Sanders fans. Suffice it to say, Herself is not getting any love.
LMFAO.
Lemme get this straight. Her
Lemme get this straight.

Wait...
I thought it was the Russians and Comey to blame.
Edit: added afterthought to last paragraph.
She was going to make Bill her economic adviser

This is why you lost to the worst candidate in the history of this country. You can't stop lying to us.
You lied about dodging sniper fire, about not supporting the TPP, fracking and about countless other things.
The one time you didn't lie to us is when you said that universal health care will never, ever happen in this country.
Slither back into your beloved woods. This country is tired of you and your third way bullshit.
You and Bill did enough damage to this country during his tenure.

Amanda,
If I have a stroke in the next 48 hours I want you to know I forgive you.
Poor Hillary. Nobody ever had troubles like hers. Cruz called Trump a pathological liar and Trump still let him stand at the convention podium and tell people to vote their consciences.
Had to quit watching at 15.
Watching her and hearing that gruff whining voice does horrific things to my attitude and my nervous system.
I've been watching her for a long time. That's why I've never forgotten ( and frequently post) Hillbillary's Prime Time 60 Minutes Special). Which I think I'll post right here for shits and giggles. You want to see some world-class lying, watch this.

@FuturePassed
FSM forfend! Especially since Her apparently doesn't even listen to Her campaign advisors when Her Always Knows Better - although I expect that the 'everyone elses fault' applies to them as well... poor Sherrod!
Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
@FuturePassed Is it even true that it
I doubt very much it was more progressive than the platform in 1932.

I'm personally more excited about Bill Clinton's new books to be released:
And the sequel:
These are friggin brilliant!
O.k. When is the next meeting for the revolution?

Yes - they're meant to be shared! n/t
I'll bet the book says nothing about that time
when Bernie said that he was sick of Her damned emails.
"Please clap." -- Jeb Bush
Arrrrgh!!!

This is a brilliant comment
Remember when she was marching in some type of parade and she roped members of the press so they couldn't talk to her?
And instead of campaigning in the states that she lost, she kept going to fundraisers given by rich people, celebrities and other ones where the little people weren't invited. She even had a white noise machine that kept anyone on the outside from hearing what she said?
This is how out of touch she was.
It's good to see you here again. Have you been out of touch because you were having so much fun?
Was Humpty Dumpty pushed?
Hi Snoopy!
“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”
George W. Bush
Remove Trump, you get Pence
That will NOT be an improvement! Pence is a latter-day Nehemiah Scudder (Heinlein fans know what I'm saying).
If you (generic you) somehow manage to remove Trump and Pence, you get Lyin' Ryan, which still won't be an improvement.
Right now we're stuck in a No-Win Scenario, and will be there until at least 2018, maybe a whole lot longer.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
Which is exactly why I'm hoping...

You want a military coup to happen? Wow.
