Nazis cancel 67 rallies following counter-protests, retreat to internet safe spaces

Following last weekend’s massive counter-protester turnout to a white supremacists event in Boston, pro-Trump neo-Nazis have canceled 67 planned events in 36 states, and will instead hold “online demonstrations” on September 9, where they don’t have to worry about getting punched in the face or fired from their hot dog jobs.

ACT For America, the anti-Muslim hate group that had planned the rallies, told Breitbart that the decision was due to “extremist and radical organizations in the United States and abroad [that] have overrun peaceful events in order to advance their own agendas… ACT for America is deeply saddened that in today’s divisive climate, citizens cannot peacefully express their opinion without risk of physical harm from terror groups domestic and international.”

That’s another way of saying they were scared shitless when 40,000 people showed up to tell approximately 100 Nazi punks to fuck off. As Gizmodo noted, the RSVP lists for some of these events weren’t exactly blowing up — only two to three people had confirmed their attendance in areas like Baton Rouge and Washington, D.C. — and the success of any hate rally is predicated upon more than a few wienies cosplaying in their Civil War pajamas.

Sooooo, the big old bad asses aren't as tough as they think they are.

I wonder, why are they afraid? They were pretty vocal about their love of violence at Trump's rallies. Now, not so much.

Simply because the city wouldn't give them a permit. There is an SU football game and the Irish Festival that weekend. The city told them they couldn't provide a police presence. Their "March Against Sharia" drew twice as many counter protesters...It also drew the "New York Light Foot Spartans 65" to "protect free speech".

Can't seem to muster their outrage muscles against the unrelenting human carnage our government is perpetrating in far away places. Too abstract I guess when the butchering is happening on a daily basis using our tax money, eh?

@Anja Geitz (1) All the people we kill are terrorists out to destroy our freedoms; or

(2) Working for Putin to destroy our freedoms.

So, they had it coming.

Yes, this is satire. The reality, of course, is that we our country is committing war crimes on a daily basis and no one in the corporately owned media gives a damn enough to tell the truth about what our government, in our name with our tax dollars, is doing.

That this country is being run by sociopaths. From the profit-war-mongers to the power brokers dividing up our global resources like it was their own personal playground. Any recourse we may have to change this electorally is suspect. Any attempt to change this through protest, peaceful, or otherwise, will either be blacked out by the media, or put down by the military arm of our local police force. The only power left to me is to build strong relationships within my own community. And the key to that is heart to heart dialogues. It's what keeps me sane. And sometimes baking a blueberry pie for my neighbor helps too. Smile

It's only fun when they mob those perceived as vulnerable. They want to be Nazi's so they can safely abuse and kill people within identifiable groups without repercussions, just like real Nazi's did in the past, while regular psychopaths have to worry about getting caught...

They'd convinced themselves either that this pathology was acceptable outside their bubble - as it apparently is for US public officials - or that they'd terrify society overall into submission to their brutality, permitting them to run rampant, as has occurred with public officials.

While I'm not big on violence myself, in the past I've read many suggestions that if the German people had been forewarned, as we have been by their experience, taken the Nazi's seriously and objected more powerfully when they'd first begun spreading their messages of personal/national exceptionalism, hate and violence, and before they grew and the pathology became normalized, an awful lot of destruction, misery and death could have been avoided, at home and abroad.

But this pathology will only be kept underground and out of society in general as long as society insists that all vulnerable within have complete and equal protection against slander, intimidation, threats and incited/actual violence directed against them/their group, whether by any individual or any group - protection which should be supplied by public officials intended to be responsible for protecting the public against all such hazards and, in fascist America, instead all too often posing such hazards to the population themselves.

There has long been 'right-wing'/corporate propaganda designed to destroy American's faith in even the principles of democratic government and law, in conjunction with defunding, weakening of protection/lack of enforcement and general corruption festering as a result of such, causing the failure of the public service as such

- all to prevent what should have been representing the united might of The People in preventing hostile self-interests from freely riding roughshod over The People, taking over their country and governance, in order to drain and destroy the true American dream of a free and democratic country of equals under just and public-protective law - not under men - with equal rights, treatment and opportunity for all, all free to pursue their own path to happiness, as long as not unduly infringing upon the rights of others, as corporate interests, billionaires and their political lackeys routinely do with impunity.

If the current situation, including the US PTB corporate/military takeover attempt of the planet in progress, does not represent fascism, in its emulation of what Hitler's Nazi's attempted to do earlier, (this supported by multiple American business interests moving into politics/policy in one form or another,) I don't know what does.

Whatever it's termed, it's inimical to life, and the lawlessness of public servants places citizens in a helpless position as far as officials go and more likely to perhaps 'take law into their own hands' where the rising of organized and violent public hazards, such as Nazi's, within the public occurs, (especially where undercover police or other agent provocateurs are involved to initiate violence - also, pepper and other sprays being commonly used by police against protesters/civilians, rather than protesters using them on others they're protesting) providing an excuse for 'martial law' and routinely shooting citizens on the excuse of a heavily armed population being scary, many among that population believing that they need to freely carry arms due to the propaganda campaign and corruption of the system by those eagerly waiting to crush them, along with the rest of the Non-Billionaire-Americans, on the first excuse.

I don't expect that I'm phrasing this very clearly, but I believe these to be important aspects which need to be considered in the light of the need for The People to work together and to 'work smart' rather than relying upon sporadic violence increasingly likely to break out as the drain and strain increases, along with efforts by self-interests to trigger that excuse for 'cracking down' on the public...

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
