Congressional Republicans Go There, Call for 2nd Special Prosecutor
US House Judiciary Committee requests DoJ appoint second Special Prosecutor (PDF) https://t.co/kenS4vfjIN pic.twitter.com/asvlURMNoV
— WikiLeaks (@wikileaks) July 29, 2017
Here's the pdf to which Wikileaks links.
There are 14 points - instead of re-typing in full, I'll summarize those points for investigation which did not make the tweet:
1) A.G. Loretta Lynch directing Comey to mislead the public on the nature of the investigation
2) Secretary Clinton's mishandling of classified information
3) FBI & DOJ decisions about email investigation including immunity deals for Mills, Samuelson, Bentel and others
4) Failure of DOJ to empanel grand jury about possible mishandling of classified information
5) Dept of State (and employees) involvement in determining which communications from Secretary Clinton to turn over to the public.
(see tweet above for 6-10)
THEY ARE CALLING FOR A REVIEW OF POTENTIAL COLLUSION BETWEEN CLINTON AND DNC IN THE DEM PRIMARY! Also, they are looking at the Clinton Foundation.
11) Leaks of classified information and something about unmasking people on Trump's campaign and or transition team
12) Potential leaks by Comey to Columbia University Law Professor of conversations between Comey and Trump
13) Something about "Fusion GPS" and the dossier on Trump
14) Potential leaks by Comey to author Michael Schmidt
Popcorn futures are looking up!

But that's okay. We can all get tick bites.
@SnappleBC I agree they both "do

Well, they have almost taken over the country.
They are doing a lot of things right.

True, they can't get
too carried away in "revealing the truth," becuz they would blow their own cover of similar dirty deeds.
But, just the fact that there's a threat of an investigation might find it's way to the MSM. Might. Maybe. But, even if it doesn't, what's been intimated so far is Way more than what DWS and her DNC thought would ever be revealed. And, who here thought that would ever happen? Granted, it ain't much, but most of us were expecting nothing.

Something is something. You can quote me bigly on that.

This was shown during her Benghazi hearings
I don't recall one person asking what business was being done at the embassy at the time of the attack.
Seymour Hersh said that the CIA and the stated department were running Libyan guns out of it to give to Al Qaida and its other offshoots.
I am pretty certain that some members of congress were aware of that, yet no one asked about it.
This would be considered treason in a country that had a functioning department of justice because they were arming the same groups that were considered our country's enemies.
But that will never happen in the land of exceptionalism. Only the little plebes get sentenced to jail.
I would like to see an investigation into what the Clinton foundation did after the earthquake in Haiti and this should include Hillary throwing her weight around because she was SOS.
I don't recall ever hearing of Condi Rice inserting herself in any country's government and recovery like Hillary did. When she insisted that Haiti have another presidential election because she didn't like the outcome of the first one, this amounted to a government coup done by our State Department with Hillary at the reins. And where the hell was Obama while all this graft was happening? AWOL as usual.

Obama simply couldn't see what was going on; he had his head in a bucket of money at the time...

I'm not so sure he had his head in a bucket of money
I believe that he was easily intimidated by the people who were around him. He wanted to go after the banks that crashed the global economy, but Rahm and Geitner advised him not to do that.
Notice how many people are pleased with Trump for letting the military officers do anything they want because they thought that Obama had hamstrung the generals in the Middle East.
They felt that Obama was too cautious about killing civilians in war zones and we can see the increase in civilians' deaths since Donny took office.
No Obama knew what was going on regarding the wars and the things Hillary was doing when she was SOS. He just didn't care enough to stop her.

Your comment makes me wonder
You begin with his being intimidated but end with him not caring.
It seems to me that if he was influenced into putting them into those positions of power and then he ended up being intimidated by them, that might indicate that his prime purpose in being President was to actually survive no matter what.
If on the other hand, he was in it for the prestige and money, then I would agree that in knowing what Her was doing, he just didn't care enough to stop her.
Either way, I don't see how it could be both (I could be wrong though).
They either took him into that special room to see the grassy knoll angle of the Kennedy assassination (according to Bill Hicks) or he was fully aware and had no actual fears because he was in it for whatever he could get, America be damned.

Pelosi says the midterms don't matter. If things go well the Dims should all be busy lawyering up around that time.

I read somewhere that
Stevens or Stephenson or whatever was told by somebody in France (while Stevens was on business there) to "stay out of Benghazi for 4 or 5 days." Also, strongly urged by an American to do the same. So, somebody knew something. Stevens, of course, returned to Benghazi just two days later, and... well, the rest is history. So, he was Not ordered to return there. Just the opposite. Why he went back there when he essentially was told not to is anybody's guess, but I'm guessing Hillary might know.

Somewhat feel this will be a
Somewhat feel this will be a shiny object meant to distract us from something.
When really was the last time that we saw the opposite party do something to the other party?
Clinton and impeachment? If someone has another example, feel free.
Obama had a chance regarding American war crimes but all the people who were butchered just weren't important to Obama. As Obama put it we have to move forward and not look back. Both parties protecting one another is somewhat the norm, so anything outside of that is well odd.
I hold at least a sliver of hope...
If,as some suspect,
This is payback for RUSSIA! and the continuing call to impeach
Trump over (sorry) trumped up charges.
I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.
Not shiny
A) MSM will never follow this sufficiently if they cover it AT ALL other than that the GOP is having boring hearings, blah-blah-blah. So no shine.
B) The Obama example (for which one could have chosen several subjects where his resistance amounted to balking not even to the degree of choking on water down the wrong pipe) lacks even pretense of going after those who did whatever they did to burst a bubble in our collective imagination about who we are as a people (i.e. we don't torture, we don't crash the world economy, we think of healthcare as a Capitalist sport where money is made by withholding care, to list a first few which come to mind).

What it will do is bring things into
the light that the Dims and their media buddies don't ever mention. For example, relatively few people know about the lawsuit against the DNC or their arrogant and duplicitous defense. They won't be able to keep everything buried anymore.
At least I hope that's what happens.

Maybe the US political establishment
has been balanced like a teeter-totter, with fat cat Ds sitting on one side, and R blimps sitting on the other. Back and forth they've gone, now up, now down, now blue, now red, having loads of fun together... until finally, both sides having gained a great deal of weight, the fulcrum suddenly... collapses! Causing both teams to fall flat on their asses in a big cloud of dust, and begin shouting across at one another, "What the hell happened to the Center?"

In the end, Republicans NEED the Democratic Party to survive.
The risk of a real investigation would be the complete collapse of the Democratic Party. The ensuing chaos would open the door to viable new political parties and spell the end of the reliability of a political duopoly which has been serving the interest of deep state oligarchs so well for decades. Republican interests would not be well served by such an upheaval.
What we are seeing is more Kabuki: the promise of real justice masking just one more disingenuous sham designed to string the public along with false hope while innoculating the enumerated action items from the possiblity of future accountability. The items on this list will be checked off and put aside.
There will be no prosecutions, no justice so long as our two party system maintains its exclusivity and continues to serve the interest of American oligarchs. The lies and deceptions will continue.

Thanks for nicely describing my first thought. Although one never knows, some might actually have enough patriotism and survival instinct to want their country, people and life on the planet to continue to survive because they've finally realized that their own comfort and survival depends upon this.
I keep thinking of Rider Haggard's King Salomon's Mines, at the point where the old witch cackles that the treasure-seekers should eat and drink of the vast wealth they'd been led to - just before they are shut in the dark away from all sustenance and freedom.
In the book, of course, they escaped to the outside world, at the cost of losing nearly all of the treasure - but in reality, there is no 'there' there outside the life support system of Earth which The Psychopaths That Be so eagerly and actively disrupt and destroy to accumulate unimaginably huge piles of personal riches drained from everyone and everything else and which will then become worthless. And there may be some in public office still sane enough to see this and decide that civilization/democracy and a habitable, self-sustaining planet, along with their own comforts and hope of healthy, happy lives, are treasures worth keeping.
We can hope, at any rate, at least for a while.

Right on the money.
I think especially with regards to war and banking this is exactly what happened. I'd throw election fraud in there too except we saw the Democrats use it against their own voters rather than turning it back against the Republicans. At any rate, we had the faux outrage, then more of the same, but bigger and this time free from criticism.
If the Wikileaks report is true, they are rather specific on the points, which almost looks serious. But yeah, this is pro-wrestling. Fake enemies working for the same boss. They need each other more than they need us.

Yeah, I was thinking pro wrestling too, but couldn't figure how to blend that together with Kabuki. Both very much not what they appear to be.

It's only voter fraud when voters do fraudulent things.
When election officials do bad things it's election fraud. The difference is important.
