Pope awards “highest honor” to head of anti-LGBTQ hate group

On June 29, “Alan and Paula Sears were honored for their work with Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) by being invested into the Equestrian Order of St. Gregory the Great. Investiture in the order is the highest honor the church bestows on laypeople and is given in recognition of extraordinary service to the Vatican….

“Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted of Phoenix presided over the ceremony [and] handed them the letter explaining that Pope Francis had made the award.”

Earlier this year, the Southern Poverty Law Center stated the ADF “specializes in supporting the recriminalization of homosexuality abroad, ending same-sex marriage, and generally making life as difficult as possible for LGBT communities in the U.S. and internationally.”

“Media Matters first identified the anti-LGBTQ hate group Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) as the powerful legal group leading the national campaign against transgender student equality.”

Pope Francis is not who the mainstream media claims he is.

Last August, Pope Francis said “the epoch of sin against God the Creator” was teaching children that being transgender is acceptable.

In December, a decree that men with “deeply rooted homosexual tendencies” couldn’t be priests was “restated in a new document under Pope Francis” reaffirming the Church’s teaching that “this inclination is objectively disordered.”

The pope called same-sex marriage an “anthropological regression.”

@Bollox Ref

I notice the motto on the medal: "ad astra per aspera".

If the founder of IG Farben got one of those, when the Bayer company was spun off from it, Bayer could adopt a form of the motto for its own.....

....."Ad Astra per Aspirin"!!
