Sunday Album Open Thread: SuperBass 2

Some Albums really stood out for one reason or another, but never seemed to get the recognition they deserved. There are others that I just like to play every once in a while.

SuperBass 2; Ray Brown, Christian McBride & John Clayton

I couldn't find the album on You Tube, so I built one from all of the tracks in the proper order

Naturally, this is an open thread too.

than anyone else. He was sought after in the 1940's as a master bop bassist and became one of the first to have a tune based on one of his bass riffs, "One Bass Hit" by Dizzy Gillespie, parts 1 & 2 on a Musicraft 78(# 404 if you're keeping count). Ray Brown co-wrote with Diz "Ray's Idea" also on Musicraft(487).
He was in and out of groups for the rest of his career but he was always in demand and available for recording sessions. He was able to add to any group in a variety of styles and had a long career.

@riverlover
hence I never have paid any attention to its dates (which do change every now and then anyway) and just do what I'm told. I used to just leave the car radio to standard time, in fact.
