Sunday Album Open Thread: Electric Music for the Mind and Body

Some Albums really stood out for one reason or another, but never seemed to get the recognition they deserved. There are others that I just like to play every once in a while. This one is both, possibly the most underrated band of the era. Do yourself a favor and listen to Section 43 twice.

inspired by the Paul Butterfield band I organized a local blues ensemble with both black and white musicians. I lent this one out to the organist who was more into Jimmy Smith style jazz/blues. When he gave it back a couple of days later I knew he couldn't understand it at all!
