I haven't seen much here about this.

I'm referring to the Trump - Putin "scandal", which some here consider to be "much ado about little".
Would someone care to comment about articles like this?
Or is it not worth our time?
I'm not trying to be difficult. I honestly want to know what people here think about it. As for myself, I'm more than a little concerned that Trump, and the Republicans in Congress, are dangerously close to to the line where their behavior could be called treasonous.
I welcome other views.

Shit. I don't want to live in Trump's nor Hillary's worlds
Got any other choices?
@CB How about not living
How about not living in the CIA's world?

For me, right now, the operative word is "live."
I'd rather live in Putin's world than die in John Brennan's.

And so "when" we impeach Trump
for being a Rooskie spy we'll end up with Pence. Now I ask you, what in hell kind of trade off is that? While I would LOVE to see Trump go down in a blaze of humiliation, to do that we'll really screw ourselves over even worse. No thanks. And as one other poster mentioned out here, the FACT that the entire MSM is ginning this up makes me instantly suspicious of it and should you too. Shillary is not dead yet and she and her zombie supporters would love nothing better I imagine than to see Pence rush off to holy war.

Well, something of this sort was very likely, as a number of us suspect, part of the plan from the beginning. Pence was remarkably like Hillary's VP pick...
Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
I know....
and I find the Bible thumpers more scary than the neo-liberals, although that's maybe more personal bias but maybe not. And even Shillary prays with "The Family" so not like she's much better, just more disingenuous about it.

Religious fanatics believe that if they stray from their beliefs, they are evil, no matter how evil their 'righteous, ordained-by-god' beliefs may be. That does tend to be scarier than are most other human hazards...

Cutting off nose to spite face
The whole
sordid Russian affair is nothing more than Deep State propaganda.
Are you really this naive?
Or do you just pretend to be?
So reversing Obama's insane Russia baiting policy and trying to normalize relations is now treasonous? Or maybe you were secretly rooting for Obama to goad Putin into a war on his way out the door?
Now ask yourself: what's more treasonous?
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
tapu dali, with respect,
as you are someone I respect, how are Trump's cronies' business deals with Putin more treasonous than Clinton's?
I find our admitted installation of a Fascist government in Ukraine treasonous, our spending of hundreds of millions of our tax dollars on a paramilitary groups in Ukraine treasonous, and the outcome of that treason to be an assault on the people of Crimea. I respect the Crimean people's vote to leave Ukraine and join the Russian Federation, and I find it to be an act of common sense in the face of that U.S. sponsored war.
I think the mainstream media count on the American people to be too busy to pay attention to what is going on. I hope they're wrong about that. It's all about business, it's all about bucks, it's all about power, and it's all about the American taxpayer bailing out the EU.
If this is as serious as it's being made out to be....
...real, incontrovertible, evidence is going to need to come out to get a majority of the populace on board. Time to start tuning in to Democracy Now again, after a break of avoiding the depressing real news.
Beware the bullshit factories.
My opinion hasn't changed
I think the accusation is hilariously laughable. I think Dems are morons to believe it.
But it's very serious where these stories are coming from.
I think that most of the Dems are engaged in political theater
I don't think they really believe this crap, but they are milking it for all its worth. Did anyone see Ted Lieu on DemocracyNow today? I couldn't watch for long because it was such BS, but he looked like a bad actor trying to win an oscar by overacting. DemocracyNow seems to be full of Trump hysteria these days. All this bothers me a lot because Trump is doing a lot of really bad things, but the corporate media and even DemocracyNow have chosen to be apoplectic about Trump's dealings with Russia--an area in which he is not as crazy-assed as Obama/Clinton. The repeated poorly supported allegations and miss-characterizations (Muslim Ban, Russia hacking the election [repeated loudly and often]) remind me of the lead in to the invasion of Iraq.
@Roy Blakeley
Lucky that they always use the same tired tactics and that we mostly aren't looking for squirrels anymore. Fool me umpteen times and sooner or later, I'll catch on.

@Roy Blakeley Wow. If DemocracyNow
Wow. If DemocracyNow is compromised, it's a sad sad day.

IMHO...
If trying to prevent nuclear war with Russia is considered treason, the definition of treason needs to change. I'm far more inclined to consider the neocon/neolib warmongers fomenting increased tension and pushing us closer to the brink as being the true traitors to our nation.
@edg
Personally, I think they're trying to redefine treason to cover anything that fails to profit The Right People, not to mention distracting from their own actual treason, as you say.

IS THIS
TREASON?
John McCain with Ukrainian Nazi leader Oleh Tyahnybok
continuation of DNC policy/excuses
repeated so often it's like they believe it themselves.
Unfortunately Amy and company
Unfortunately Amy and company were reading off the same script as MSM today. Very disappointing to hear. We are being saturated by a full-press propaganda campaign, I'm afraid.

I think the "intelligence" services are treasonous
Trying to bring down an elected president? Wire taps and anonymous leaks? Very ugly.
@Sunspots
Personally, I think that they're treasonous in spying on everyone; at least actually including everyone in this for once sounds almost democratic, somehow.
Edit: generally using 'treason' in the sense of betraying Oaths to uphold the Constitutional rights of the people which are required to hold public office/betrayal of the public trust/betraying their country and country-men to hostile self-interests and the like.
The narrow American definition is rather worse than outdated... I suspect for a reason, so that The People can be told that they have no recourse in removing corrupt, even obviously cheated-in officials from any branch of government.
Edited to add a missed 's' and to delete a couple of the extra names which are added with every edit and tend to pile up on my posts, lol. The Typo Queen
