Investigating Donald Trump, F.B.I. Sees No Clear Link to Russia
WASHINGTON — For much of the summer, the F.B.I. pursued a widening investigation into a Russian role in the American presidential campaign. Agents scrutinized advisers close to Donald J. Trump, looked for financial connections with Russian financial figures, searched for those involved in hacking the computers of Democrats, and even chased a lead — which they ultimately came to doubt — about a possible secret channel of email communication from the Trump Organization to a Russian bank.
Law enforcement officials say that none of the investigations so far have found any conclusive or direct link between Mr. Trump and the Russian government. And even the hacking into Democratic emails, F.B.I. and intelligence officials now believe, was aimed at disrupting the presidential election rather than electing Mr. Trump.
Hillary Clinton’s supporters, angry over what they regard as a lack of scrutiny of Mr. Trump by law enforcement officials, pushed for these investigations. In recent days they have also demanded that James B. Comey, the director of the F.B.I., discuss them publicly, as he did last week when he announced that a new batch of emails possibly connected to Mrs. Clinton had been discovered.
Supporters of Mrs. Clinton have argued that Mr. Trump’s evident affinity for Russia’s president, Vladimir V. Putin — Mr. Trump has called him a great leader and echoed his policies toward NATO, Ukraine and the war in Syria — and the hacks of leading Democrats like John D. Podesta, the chairman of the Clinton campaign, are clear indications that Russia has taken sides in the presidential race and that voters should know what the F.B.I. has found.
The F.B.I.’s inquiries into Russia’s possible role continue, as does the investigation into the emails involving Mrs. Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin, on a computer she shared with her estranged husband, Anthony D. Weiner. Mrs. Clinton’s supporters argue that voters have as much right to know what the F.B.I. has found in Mr. Trump’s case, even if the findings are not yet conclusive.

F.B.I. officials declined to comment on Monday. Intelligence officials have said in interviews over the last six weeks that apparent connections between some of Mr. Trump’s aides and Moscow originally compelled them to open a broad investigation into possible links between the Russian government and the Republican presidential candidate. Still, they have said that Mr. Trump himself has not become a target. And no evidence has emerged that would link him or anyone else in his business or political circle directly to Russia’s election operations.

Well, there is a connection to Putin
but it's Podesta, not Trump. Wikileaks revealed he's got 75,000 shares of Joule , an energy company connected to a Putin venture capital fund. Podesta apparently sat on the board (with Russians), but transferred his holdings to Leonidio LLC, owned by him and his children.
Put "Joule" into the Wikileaks search engine, and there are plenty of documents. Joule is a green energy company involved in a reverse-combustion process that produces ethanol, and it's process is being covered extensively on RT.
I applaud the goals of Joule, and don't see any problem with Podesta's ownership stake, but I am calling out the filthy hypocrisy of trying to smear Trump with fictitious Russian connections. Glass houses and all...
PS: Just noticed this, Podesta was informed of a pending merger of Joule with a company called Red Rock.

At this point in this bizarre election I have let go of blaming people for their political stances regardless of where they stand in these ass backward meaningless partisan divides. Today walking to the local grocery store we met and talked to a former Berner whose married to a woman who did not speak to me for about a year after Obama won in 2008. She was a diehard Hillary supporter and I was a vocal and active Obama campaigner in our Democratic precinct's 2007 primary. He's distraught, depressed and freaked out as he voted for Hillary this time and knows full well how corrupt the Democratic party and the Clinton Machine is.
He's reading the wikileaks e-mails and quoted several to us. We asked about his wife who has never let go of supporting Hillary and she is apparently not happy with her choice at this point either. On the other hand he thinks Nadar did it. Shah explained the math in Florida (300,000 Dems voted for Bush) and he kinda perked up. On our parting he said I think I may not be a Democrat anymore this is just too hard to swallow.
My point here is that regardless of who wins or who you decide to vote for most of us are fully aware of the basic predicament we find ourselves in. The details maybe blurred but the story line should be obvious.The Russians are coming is not working for good reason. It's absurd. It highlights how insane the Democratic parties unanimous embrace of the global Brave New World is. Then there is the global endless bloody war for American Interests. American multinational interest's with nukes thrown in does not appeal to anyone who has a brain left in their head. USA, USA, USA! Even a lot of Trump supporters are smart enough to see where this leads.
I know the Mad Bomber will win as it is rigged and yet I feel hope because they have gone too far in this farce of an election. But what bothered me about that diary was they tied Donald to Jeff Epstein and the wold sexual parties he had and the Lolita express which is his huge jet where it's rumored to have a bedroom in it and Epstein and his guest would have sex with underaged girls on their way to his island.
What wasn't mentioned in the diary was that Bill Clinton also flew on the plane numerous times and ditching his secret service detail.
Epstein was finally charged with sex trafficking and sex with underaged girls.
The number of women who came forward to press charges is a lot.
The Feds finally got involved in the investigation but before his trial was started he made a plea deal and was only sentenced to 13 months in prison.
But part of the plea deal was that he would never mention who else flew on the plane with him.
13 months for multiple counts of statutory rape.
The whole gawdy mess is unbelievable, but so are the names of the people involved with him. Including Clinton.
And he's going to be back in the WH.

That diary is just a nasty hit-piece on Trump, they know perfectly well that the guy who filed the lawsuit has a history of filing frivolous lawsuits. The court date is December, so it won't be finally debunked before the election. The Clinton campaign is just a slime pit. Every dirty, lying, cheating, under-handed thing they can think of, is what they do.

The recent allegations are from 2003 or around that time. That's the time frame when Epstein and his friends, including both Bill and Donald were involved with him.

Remember during the economic crisis how people there put all of the blame on Bush but gave Clinton a pass for his roll in it. So many members there argued that repealing glass Steagall and the commodity futures had nothing to do with it.

Today I saw a pro Iraq war diary about the fighting in Mosul and could not believe what I was reading in the comments.
The people in Mosul who have been able to get through the land mines and out to the refugee camps are basically in prison camps but there was no mention of that over there.
