Anyone else get bitched at about balking at the 'inevitability' meme?
Time and time again at TOP, I was told the the inevitability thang was all in my head. Oh, really...

Subject: Re: AxelrodWe can have a longer conversation about Axelrod. I downloaded to Robby. We shouldn't be under any illusions that he will start saying only positive things. He's not looking for a job in 2016, he sees himself in a different role now and feels he needs to say what he thinks (lots of obama people have said they don't like ready for hillary or her inevitability language) otherwise he won't be credible.
What makes this email all the more compelling is the exchange in the same thread dated the previous day which can be seen further down the page:

..Smart of @HillaryClinton to be counseling with @benensonj. He was brilliant, essential player in @BarackObama wins!
He called me last night to give us a heads up that O'Malley and Webb have both asked to speak at his institute. We got into a conversation about his public comments.
He assured me that he is 100 percent supportive of HRC and that she will be the nominee and understands that we might be frustrated with what he has said. I sense that he is disappointed that we have talked to everyone else in Obama world except for him and I assured him that HRC would be in touch soon. I think we are now in a good place with him but she needs to call him and I conveyed that to her. Will try to get it done this week.
That sure sounds inevitable and right from the campaign's mouth...
BUT WAIT - I found another one in the thread which follows.
Cheryl Mills corrects Huma:
she doesn't have inevitabiliy language - the media does
To which Huma responds:
Right
Huma was mistaken, I guess. Funny how so many of us were.

This says it all.
I wish to not participate.
Thanks for nothing.

Well Obama does think he runs the world. What can you say about
a guy who updates his 'kill list' on Tuesdays? Here's a guy who doesn't even have to know who's life he is ending, just a guess will do.

THE most disgusting, abominable
thing about him. Tuesdays.

It's weird that he picked Tuesdays....
I always want to kill people on Mondays myself...
(Yeah, I know, dark humor, but at this point it's laugh or cry and I am not much for crying...)

You're sick.
Why prolong till Monday?
Take them in their sleep on the Sabbath,
Friday night, Saturday, Sunday works too.
Nasty, anti-religious snark.

It's just the American way
We are just exceptional, you know. (And by we I mean everyone else because I am not feeling very American lately. And yes, I have the option as I am an American citizen only by virtue of US imperialism.)

Kill list?
I've been rather happily, mostly offline and away from media since last Tuesday. What did I miss?
(Not that I can't probably fill in the blanks, but seriously? Kill list?! Just when I thought I'd reached peak disgust).
Seriously? Oh well, here you go.
SNIPPET OF ARTICLE FROM THE INTERCEPT
Secret military documents obtained by The Intercept offer rare documentary evidence of the process by which the Obama administration creates and acts on its kill list of terror suspects in Yemen and Somalia. The documents offer an unusual glimpse into the decision-making process behind the drone strikes and other operations of the largely covert war, outlining the selection and vetting of targets through the ranks of the military and the White House, culminating in the president’s approval of a 60-day window for lethal action.

Maybe Axelrod doesn't want to go back to Rahm-land
He knows a good grifter when he sees one--and he does pretty well hanging out with other anti-democratic liars--like Obama. So, I'm sure Hellery will throw him a bone--like ambassador to Bermuda or Monte Carlo.
Um a slogan ready to go and people on board for
a campaign and she is saying she is inevitable in January but kept giving paid speeches against the ethics rules until March cuz she had not made up her mind to run????
That needs to be added to the HRC lying video.

Us awakened are pissed off. I am hoping for many voters for
notHillary. I still have asleep "friends" who are so Trump-scared that Hillary is good, she understands how government works. Sure she does, it works for Billary. Way past time to try to shake up DC; I have my own Hell dealing with dysfunctional Albany. At least they only take a portion of my SS 'income' in taxes, plus fees for everything from State Dog licensing to car inspections and recycling.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
Be careful what HER asks for.

I am curious to see after the election when
she starts appointing all the Citigroup approved cabinet members what the Thom Hartmann's, Stephanie Miller's and Mike Malloy's of the world are going to say. I can't listen anymore. It's just VOTE H#%&!!*Y because Trump bad every day.
O.k. When is the next meeting for the revolution?

Don't forget Maddow
I thought for a brief minute that she was enamored of Bernie. And yet, she was in the tank more than most, distorting away with a sparkle in her eye and a lilt in her voice. I remember her early days on Air America when she was getting to the bottom of corruption. Give a girl a good enough salary, and she'll sing a different tune, apparently.

Hartmann is pathetic now
I tried...really. I gave him a couple of minutes this morning. It's all about how great Hillary is. The first time I shut it off was when he asked, as if serious, why anyone wouldn't trust Hillary. "Oh sure, she's changed positions on a few issues. She voted for the Iraq war but now...."
I thought to myself "hasn't he read the emails about two policies, one public, one private?" Of course he has but he's a shill and is afraid to tell the truth.
Then he had some guy on to talk about Michael Moore's film and this guy said "it's some kind of Republican Jedi mind trick to make us think badly of a woman who has done so much good...."
Somewhere in there Hartmann was able to ignore the obvious about health care while he made the insane statement that we would have had Obamacare (oh boy!) in the 90s but the Republicans (there they are again...not the Russians?) didn't want Hillary's plan because she's a woman!
We have one of those radios that can switch from FM to any internet station we want, or to Pandora. I put on our "Beatle Radio" station and was much better off for it.
Not sure if I'm remembering right.
Didn't Dole try to push something similar to Obamacare in the 70s? With forty plus years of tweaking, think how good it could've been.
There is no such thing as TMI. It can always be held in reserve for extortion.

Oh, don't be silly
Doubt you'll see much of it there. Anyone who realizes--really, honestly gets it--that they are wrong will never admit it. And everyone else is a closet Republican over there, so there will be much cheering and sycophanting (is that a word?)
sychophantalumping
is the proper word.

Yep. And I say,

because, you know, I've replaced all the h's with j's, as in "I'm voting for Jill."

What I found telling:
I infer: He was offered a job if he would say only positive things about Hillary.
All the people the Clintons employ themselves, all the people the Foundation employs, all the people the DNC employs and all the jobs the Clintons can offer through their contacts. If you can't generate or merit positivity, you can always buy yourself some!
